the food was ready to be served. boki's campus had bigger rooms and even if boys weren't allowed to get in, jooheon always managed to do it without getting caught. but having dinner with boki had became a routine for both.

especially after training days, jooheon would get really hungry and after a shower, he'd sneak out to boki's room. inside her room was a tiny fridge, a tiny microwave and a small burner, everything they needed to make a simple but tasty dinner for the two.

he walked expectant, as his heart raced when he spotted the building in the distance. he knew boki would be waiting for him. his phone on his right hand as he texted her that he was arriving. a bag on his left hand with a few cups of instant ramen, and a bag of fried chicken.

he managed to pass through security as usual and made his way through the fire escape until he finally reached boki's bedroom. he already knew boki's combination, so he quickly introduced his birthday on the keyboard and the door opened. boki was sitting in her bed with a big book on her tighs. she had a test in two days and had been studying non-stop but that didn't stop their daily dinners.

she smiled big time when she saw him, eyes sparkling. "finally, i was starving... and missing you." he smiled as he approached her to kiss her. "brought fried chicken and ramen."

they both walked around the room, placing the table and heating the water for the ramen. jooheon opened the fridge and pulled out two cans of iced tea and placed the table as boki prepared the ramen.

he stared at her for a long minute as he sat in the middle of the room, with the small table in front. she was everything he's been expecting in a girl. cute, delicate, smart and sweet, but over all, she cared about him deeply and now he was sure of this.

"careful, it's hot." she said bringin the pot with the ramen. jooheon's dimples appeared in the scene, making her heart flutter as usual, they sat next to each other as they smiled. the food smelled amazing and boki thanked him for bringing fried chicken that night, she really needed it.

spending time with jooheon was easy. in fact, he was the easiest to be around. even if she was shy by nature, he was the contrary but sometimes he brought her out of her comfort zone and she really liked and appreciated that.

between conversations and eating, kihyun's name was brought up. especially because boki told jooheon last night the conversation she had with kihyun last time.

he was still in shock and wanted to know everything about it but even if boki refused to talk about him and he agreed, he was still curious.

"but... i mean... he actually agreed to talk to you? weren't you scared?"

"let's not ruin our dinner - she saig laughing - i don't want to talk about him." she said with a mouth full of ramen noodles.

jooheon frowned and looked away. boki noticed a change in his mood, especially when he put down the empty bowl of noodles. "what is it?" she asked him.

"nothing... it's just you were my step brother's girlfriend." he muttered, avoiding her eyes. right there, her chest began to hurt.

"well, you're right i was. not anymore" his eyes widened as he quickly turned to look at her.

"i broke up with him, remember? plus, now you and me are a thing... a happy thing that i really like." jooheon's dimples showed up in the moment and boki's heart skipped a beat.

she knew he had trouble still letting go the whole kihyun situation but she knew that with time he'll manage to do it and she was going to help him do i

she nodded. "but... why you care so much about it? it's in the past after all." a big frown appeared on his forehead.

"well... i guess you're right. but i've always wondered... he was jealous of the relationship we had back then, right?... and i can't blame him, he had his reasons."

jooheon looked away and remained silent. "are you upset about it?" she asked caressing his chin but she noticed how a smile appeared on his beautiful lips.

"yah..." she called him but he started laughing.

"jooheonie..." she said as she started laughing too, after all, she considered his laugh contagious as well.

"i can't believe it... he was, jealous?" she nodded

"of me?" he asked, boki nodded again. "i guess so."

"ha. can't believe i'd live to see the day..."

"are you enjoying this?"

he laughed and brought her close for a tight hug. "maybe way more than i should." he kissed her forehead. "and now... you're... in love with me."

"yah... don't say it like that."

"why? it's the true."

she smiled and reached out for his lips, pressing a soft kiss. "it is the true."

boki didn't know how or why, but it had been the best she had felt with a boy in years. after finishing the dinner, they cleaned up and returned to the bed and got under the sheets and talked all night.

she never imagined it'd be a thing she'd do with jooheon, not in a million years. but he was actually a great talker and a even better listener.

and now she was sure she had found her person. without a doubt, it was lee jooheon, the aquarium boy.

a/n: there you go! this was an extra scene that i had written and thought it was cute to share, just a small conversation between boki and jooheon. hope you liked it! again thanks for all the support and love.
