Takemichi wakes up as if from a nightmare, looking around in confusion.

Why is everyone looking at him with such fear in their eyes? Kazutora?

Why is he on top of Kazutora? What happened? Who beat Kazutora this badly?

Takemichi looks at his hand; it hurts and is covered in blood. His other hand is gripping Kazutora's collar. Did... did he do this?

Takemichi panics and looks up at everyone in fear.

What is happening? Takemichi doesn't understand. Wasn't he just over there?

Oh! Chifuyu! He hears Chifuyu's voice, he hears everyone calling him. Is Chifuyu okay? Takemichi looks around for Chifuyu. He's fine, thank goodness, but why is he looking at him like that? And Baji too! Why is everyone staring at him like that?

"Hahaha," Kazutora's painful laugh grabs his attention.

"Why did you stop, Takemichi? Didn't you want to kill me?"

Kazutora looks at him with extreme hatred. Takemichi's heart aches seeing that look. No! This isn't what he wants. He doesn't want to kill anyone; he doesn't want to hurt him, but... it looks like he already did.

Kazutora feels the warm drops falling on his face; Takemichi is crying. Kazutora sees the light and warmth in those eyes again, but he doesn't need it anymore; his heart is truly dead.

"I... I didn't want this to happen... I don't know what I did, Kazutora-kun," Takemichi sobs.

"Stop pretending to be kind, it disgusts me," Kazutora says.

"Kazutora-kun, come back to Touman, come back to Baji, please?" Takemichi persists.

"Haha, are you stupid? Baji betrayed me. Touman is the enemy; I have to kill Mikey."

"Stop it, Kazutora-kun, you love Baji and Touman, don't you? Please ask Mikey for forgiveness and come back to us."

Forgiveness? He did nothing wrong. Mikey is the one at fault, it's all because of him.

"It's all Mikey's fault; because of him, I went through all this."

There's no saving him anymore. Takemichi can't do anything to pull Kazutora out of the darkness.

"Mikey-kun, please forgive Kazutora-kun, I beg you."

Takemichi can only plead with Mikey. But in response, he gets a darkened face and a cold voice.

"Takemitchy, he killed my brother in the past, and now he wants to kill me. He wants to kill Baji and you, he stabbed Chifuyu. Forgive him? What nonsense are you talking about? Why are you begging for him, Takemitchy? Come here with me, now."

Mikey reaches his hand out to Takemichi. He doesn't understand why Takemichi is so stubborn about Kazutora when the wounds on his body are caused by him. And look, is there any way Kazutora can be sane anymore? He doesn't want Takemichi's sympathetic eyes and tears for someone who has harmed their friends.

Takemichi sees the image of Mikey's dark side; his eyes are devoid of any emotion. That's right, it's not easy for Mikey to forgive Kazutora. Kazutora isn't even sane enough to recognize his mistakes, which is why Baji sacrificed himself in the past. Takemichi's eyes become even more confused.

"That's right! He's right, I've already gone to hell, what's there to go back to? I want Baji and I to go to hell together. Baji promised me."

Kazutora, in a daze, is still haunted by that promise, still haunted by the need to have Baji by his side.

Takemichi kneels upright, letting his hands fall to his sides, looking up at the sky.

Ah, in the end, it's still the same, right? He no longer blames Baji for choosing that path before; Baji would never promise something he couldn't do. He chose that way because it was the only way out.

Takemichi glances to the side where Kazutora's knife lies not far away.

"Kazutora-kun, I'm sorry, this time I won't let Baji-kun go to hell with you. If you need someone to wait for you in hell, let it be me."

Takemichi still smiles gently. But no one can smile after that.

Takemichi lunges for the knife. At first, everyone thinks he wants to stab Kazutora, but no, they are wrong. Takemichi takes the knife and slashes his own abdomen, from near his navel to his side. The quick and decisive action leaves everyone unable to react. Their minds go blank. Even the thugs watching are wide-eyed in shock.

The knife falls from his hand to the ground, and he collapses onto Kazutora. Kazutora feels warm blood soaking through his shirt, touching his skin. He opens his eyes in horror, his whole body trembling with fear. Everyone can't believe what they've just witnessed.

"Takemichi!"

Everyone shouts his name. Draken quickly gets to his side, his hands trembling as he presses on the bleeding wound, tears streaming down his face in fear. Chifuyu, forgetting his own pain, clutches his shoulder and runs frantically toward Takemichi, his face filled with horror.

"Takemichi, are you crazy? What are you doing? Call an ambulance, someone call an ambulance, hurry!"

Draken yells at everyone. Mikey stands frozen, his breath seemingly stopped, his heart feeling like it's no longer beating. His entire world darkens, with only the image of Takemichi's blood-soaked body remaining clear.

He steps towards Takemichi in a daze and kneels down. "Takemitchy, why... why did you do this? Takemitchy..." His voice shakes, each word choked with emotion.

"Mikey-kun, asking you to forgive Kazutora is too much... but please, give him a chance, okay? He will come to his senses. If you and Kazutora-kun keep hating each other like this, Baji-kun will be very sad, and you don't want that, right?" Takemichi, barely conscious, struggles to speak.

"I'll do whatever you say, Takemitchy, I'll forgive him, I'll do whatever you want," Mikey says, utterly panicked.

Baji stands stunned. Is Takemichi using the same method he saw Baji use in the past to get Mikey to forgive Kazutora? Is he trying to take Baji's place in doing this? This foolish boy, why are you sacrificing yourself like this? Baji had promised himself he would fight for Takemichi today, to keep him from harm. Yet in the end, Takemichi sacrifices himself. Despite his efforts, Baji can't stop his tears. Takemichi weakly smiles at him.

"It's okay, Baji-kun."

Kazutora can't get up, he hears those words and starts crying. Takemichi, are you crazy? How far will you go? What am I to you? Stop it! I don't need anyone to go to hell with me anymore. I don't want this. Alright, it's all my fault, so please stop.

Hanma stands nearby, stunned. Kisaki's plan today was to take Baji's life, so of course, he expected bloodshed. Bloodshed was nothing new to him. But why does the scene in front of him send chills down his spine? A hero sacrificing himself? No! This kid is terrifying! Warm yet ruthless. He makes others suffer for him and then takes over their minds, even risking his own life. What else is he capable of?

"That kid is crazy, isn't he, Rindou?"

Ran's eyes, usually unaffected by anything, now show faint ripples of emotion towards Takemichi.

"Takemitchy always surprises me," Rindou says, his expression unreadable. He doesn't even know how he feels. He steps down from his seat, suddenly feeling his body tremble, his heart racing, a strange electric current running through him. He's never felt this way before; it surpasses any excitement he's ever experienced.

"Will that kid die, brother?" Rindou asks. Ran shakes his head, not wanting Takemichi to die either, but who knows, it's fate.

"If you want, we can stay and see what happens."

Rindou glances at his brother in surprise. His brother cares about someone's life? Even someone he just met.

The ambulance arrives quickly, taking Takemichi and Chifuyu together. Everyone else needs to stay to resolve the battle, despite their worries, as it's their responsibility. And Baji needs to stay with Kazutora.

"Hanma, today Touman is the winner," Draken declares.

Hanma acts indifferent, raising his hands in surrender. "Alright, we accept defeat."

The leaders have all been defeated, and their remaining forces are too scared of Touman to continue fighting, especially after what just happened.

"So as agreed, we're taking Kazutora back," Draken says.

"Of course, we don't need him anyway," Hanma replies.

Before retreating, Hanma turns towards Touman. "Let me know how the hero is doing, I'm really worried. If we meet again, I will win and he will be mine."

The first part of his statement is in his usual mocking tone, but the last part is serious, a tone they have never heard from him before despite many confrontations. The leaders of Touman glare at him fiercely. Nearby, Rindou hears and frowns in annoyance.

Then, everyone quickly goes to the hospital. The doctor says if the knife had gone a bit deeper, Takemichi might not have survived. He is out of critical condition but hasn't woken up yet due to significant blood loss. Everyone breathes a sigh of relief. Mikey goes to a corner and collapses, tears starting to fall. He has been holding back so much. The fear, the dread of losing someone important to him, overwhelms him. Seeing Takemichi stab himself brought him back to the moment when he saw Shinichiro's body being taken away. He can't bear to face that again.

Baji, also controlling his emotions, follows Mikey. Seeing Mikey like this pains him deeply, but all he can do now is comfort Mikey and complete what both he and Takemichi wanted to achieve.

"Why did he do that? How did Takemitchy know about that? What is his relationship with Kazutora? Why did he do that to ask me to forgive him, Baji?" Mikey says through his tears, his voice choked with emotion. His eyes are filled with confusion and doubt. Baji sits down in front of him and hands Mikey the Omamori charm that they entrusted him with when they founded the gang.

"Do you remember when I talked about the kind of gang I wanted to create? A gang where everyone sacrifices themselves for each other. I should have been the one today to ask you to forgive Kazutora, but Takemichi did it instead. He did it not just for me, Kazutora, or Touman, but also for you, Mikey. One day you will understand."

Mikey looks at the charm in Baji's hand and clutches it tightly. The beautiful memories of those days seem to unfold before him, and Baji's words calm him down, stopping the darkness that was threatening to consume him.
