Chapter 3

hey guys... I really don't know much about the rituals... as I am a south indian... so whatever rituals and the way it is being performed is from google... so am sorry if you get offended by any of the rituals...

So its Saturday... and both the families were looking after the last minute preparations... the pandya family were ready to leave to see the prospective bride for hardik...

Luthra household

Sakshi is continuously giving instuctions to the workers to do the things properly when she hear the doorbell ring... hearing this she immediately went to call all the family members other than misha...

Sakshi: ram... karan... Sameer... Arjun... om...rudra... shivaay... they are here... please come...

Soon all assemble in the hall while sakshi and ram went to open the door...

The pandya family were ushered in the luthra household... and were sitting in the living room...

Sakshi: its so nice to meet you nalini... and I really wish for this proposal to happen...

Nalini: same here... leave that... let me meet you my family members... this is my husband himanshu... (pointing to her husband) and this is my elder son, krunal (pointing to him) he is also a cricketer... and that's his wife and my dil pankhuri...(pointing to her) and finally this is my son hardik whom is here for the proposal... (pointing to hardik)

Sakshi: and meet my family as well... this is my husband ram (pointing to ram), that's my eldest son karan (pointing to him), then that is my second son Arjun (pointing to him), that is my youngest son Sameer (pointing to him) and let meet you tej and Shakti bhai children as well...

Nalini: what... they are here... I want to see them... (happy tone)

Sakshi: this is shivaay (pointing to him) he is Shakti bhai son... and that is om and rudra (pointing to them) tej bhai sons... and the youngest of the lot is misha... whom you are here to see...

After the introduction... all were talking with each other... especially all of misha brothers were questioning him and observing his behavior... (sorry guys I am not really sure with the talks... but I will try to write a small portion on misha and hardik talk)

Nalini: sakshi... enough with the talks... now I want to meet your daughter...

Sakshi: ok... I will bring her...

Misha room

Misha is all dolled up and sitting on her bed waiting for her maa to call her... she is really nervous... sakshi came in to call her but seeing her daughter nervous decided to calm her first before bringing her down...

Sakshi: misha... (going towards her)

Misha seeing her maa got up...

Sakshi: misha... I know you are nervous... even I was nervous when I met your papa for the first time... all I will say is you can see the honesty and care in his eyes... than you decide...

Misha: ok maa... (gives a small smile)

Sakshi: ok come... they want to see you...

Sakshi and misha are coming down the stairs... misha can hear the chattering... when she is near the last few steps she hear the chattering die down... all the eyes were on misha...

Misha: Namaste... (when and took hardik parents blessing)

Nalini: kush raho... come and seat beside me beta... (misha took a seat and her head is still facing down) sakshi... your daughter is really beautiful and soft spoken... (hearing misha praise all her family were smiling)

After that all were indulged in chattering when hardik dad spoke...

Himanshu: well... I like your daughter... and want her as my dil... but the last decision is on the kids... (turing to misha parents) ram ji... I would like the kids to talk alone and decide... with your permission...

Ram: yes sure... misha beta... show hardik your room...

Hearing her father misha and hardik stood up and misha leading the way to her room... they both enter misha room... they both went to the balcony and sit... suddenly the air became awkward... but hardik decide to clear the air by starting a conversation...

Hardik: you have a nice room...

Misha: thank you... Arjun bhai has designed for me...

Hardik: we both are here to decide about our future... so let's tell each other about ourselves... so ladies first...

Misha: my name is misha... and I am the only girl child form both my maternal and paternal side... so I get pampered a lot... I am a gynecologist and I have a Ngo which I visit every Sunday without fail... and I can do anything to make my loved one's smile... and I love Bollywood movies... especially anushka sharma... and sorry... I only know virat kohli as he married to anushka sharma... and I don't know anyone else from the team... (shows an embarrassed cute face)

Hardik: that's interesting... and you don't have to be embarrass about that... so... I am hardik pandya... I play cricket for team india... my role is an all-rounder... and same as you I can do anything for my family's smile... and in that addition you are in as well...

Hearing this misha blushed but looked at hardik...

Hardik: I like you... and I feel we are gonna be great life partners in the future...

After that sentence... they hear the knock on the door and they went back in the room... misha went to open the door to see all her brothers...

Karan: sorry... hope we did not disturb you...

Hardik: no its ok...

Karan: well... everyone is calling you down...

Hearing this hardik when down... and all the brothers enter in her room... all of them looking at misha... which made her nervous... seeing her nervous om came and made her sit on the bed while all the brothers kneel infront of her...

Arjun: misha... don't be nervous... and just tell your answer... we will take care of the rest...

Sameer: so misha... what is your answer...

Misha just gave a blushing smile and a small nod... seeing her actions all the brothers smile knowing the answer... but they want to hear her answer...

Rudra: misha... do you like hardik??? Do you see a future with him???

Misha: yes, bhai... I like him... and I do see a beautiful future with him... (said with a blushing smile)

Soon they all went down to see that all were waiting for them... now all were looking at hardik and misha... taking the initiative nalini decided to ask...

Nalini: hardik beta... what is your answer???

Hardik: mom... my answer is a yes... (hearing this all erupted in joy)

Now all were looking at misha... sensing her uncomfortableness from the stares arjun answered to their unasked question...

Arjun: maa... it's a yes from misha as well...

Himanshu: arey.... Mithai lao bhai... muh meeta karaien...

Soon sakshi came back with sweets... and all were feeding sweets to hardik and misha...

Nalini: sakshi... since both the kids have given their consent for marriage... I want to do their roka before we go back... and I am not taking a no for an answer...

Sakshi: but... preparations???

Ram: sakshi... I am here and all our sons is here... so don't worry... just call pandit ji ask for muhrat...

Sakshi: ok... I will call the pandit ji...

So finally they agree to the marriage proposal... so next update... will the roka ceremony will be happening??? Or is there any hurdle waiting for them???
