"Just leave them to me."

The ghoul Lantern said before disappearing into the night, claiming that she'll take care of the work for us. I click my tongue and hissed angrily "I wanted to take on Arima myself." i cross my arms as the man taller man walks beside me.

"You'll have your chance."

"You keep on saying that! I'm tired of following you around, i'm ready to take on anyone if you'll just let me." the man stopped and glared at me with his dark red eyes. "Don't make me get angry again." he simply said and walked away leaving me behind.

I'm sick of just following him around and not fighting back some of the other ghouls or normal humans, I get to eat whenever I want but with Yamori by my side he won't leave me alone. I became a ghoul two years ago when he attacked me and who knew i'd ended up becoming one cause of him.

I feared him and wanted to leave him but for some reason I couldn't. I was a collage student about to graduate when I became a ghoul and killed my family,because of him. I look ahead to see the raven haired man waiting for me to catch up to him, so I did and obeyed him like a dog does to it's owner.

I'm surprised he's kept me around for this long.

Meanwhile we waited for the night to come, I went over and stayed at the place he was staying here, I started to cook some meat for the both of us, someone from a rich french family taught me how to cook like this without making the meat taste something else.

"I swear i'll kill her if something goes wrong." I heard his say to himself, I placed the meat down for it to cook itself and I sneaked behind Yamori and placed my hand around his shoulders, "Don't get yourself worried for some stupid girl..how about I forget her and focus instead on me?" i teasingly ask the raven haired man,

He grabbed me tight pushing me down the couch,he held up my wrists tightly making sure to leave his mark there when he leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. Once we were finished I buttoned my shirt back on and served him his food as promised, it wasn't long after we left his place and went over to see those two humans fighting the ghoul.

I stood back in the shadows and came out when the guy attacked Yamori, "(Y/N)" he warned but I ignored him.

"I've got this don't worry." i grin and the guy and I began to fight, he was good at it. I was about to defeat him when Arima showed up and before i knew it they fled from the scene, i laugh at them cowardly running away, "See? I told you I could handle it-" I screamed in pain when Yamori plunged his kagune into me.

"What did I tell you about disobeying me? From now on your on your own I don't need a pathetic girl like you." I hissed when he backed away and I fell back to the ground with my head hitting against the wall as I held onto my side.

It's been over 10 years since I last saw Yamori, Arima and the other guy who's also working for the CCG. I've been on my own ever since but i'm glad the world is changing..more ghouls are living on this planet and I can only dream of the day we'll rule it.

I was washing my clothes from the blood that was splattered over it when I paused and sniffed the air, that smell it's familiar.

The door to my apartment opened and I saw six guys, two blondes,a purple haired guy,brunette one and two with masks.I had my kagune out but saw the familiar man in front of me, Yamori. He smirked and walked closer with the men behind him.

"Never thought we'd see each other again." I tell him with a smile on my face. He smirks looking down at me, "I'd say the same thing..this is Nico,Naki and Ayato. I came here to give you a spot in Aoigiri tree and to help me track someone."

I looked back see that he did change,he's taller and his hair is now blonde but i'm sure he's the same as ever. "Depends on who you are tracking down."

"Rize Kamishiro."

I smirk and can already taste her blood on my lips, "I'll help you..I always hated the bitch after all..oh but one more thing. Will I be able to kill her myself and prove someone i'm stronger than I look?" knowing the answer to that Yamori smirks and nods his head.

"Come on then there's no time to lose."
