I'm one of the many people who joined the scout regiment. After my town was destroyed, I can still remember that day like it was yesterday. My adoptive parents were killed by a titan along with Eren's mother who was eaten up right in front my his eyes. Eren, Mikasa, Armin and I have always been friends but that event made me truly opened my eyes to the world. 

The four of us entered the scouts in order to protect and eliminate those titans. I remained focus on my training and that alone until I met Reiner. My dark hair was stuck to my forehead and continued to pant and held my fists up ready to attack again.

Reiner smirked at my direction and continued staring into my grey eyes. "Who would've thought that a cutie like you would be this strong."

He would always flirt with almost every girl in the district but something felt weird when we were alone. I spit out a bit of blood and stared at him with cold eyes.

"Less talking and more fighting." I ran towards him and we each began dodging out attacks. I managed to hit his cheek and head butted him, but he grabbed me and threw me to the ground and sat on top of my back.

I hear chuckles and realized Annie and Bertolt were sitting away from us watching us fight. Commander Erwin did say these three were one of the best of the squad. Unfortunately he's wrong.

I squirmed out of him punched his stomach with my knee and punched his jaw. Bertolt stared in awe and Annie had a smirk on her face. "Good job, (Y/N)." She whispered.

I smirked and glared at Reiner who slowly got up but he didn't look angry at me he looked happy?

"I knew you were special the second I laid eyes on you." I deadpanned and just stared at him.

"You're a big weirdo you know that?" I muttered annoyed by his behavior and began walking away from him and ahead to fetch some .

Reiner continued with this weird attitude towards me and I would avoid him every time when he was around.

Years had gone by and slowly I began opening up myself to some people. We were all sitting down eating, I finished getting dressed and pulled my black hair into a pony tail and my grey eyes wandered around and I spotted Captain Levi.

"Oi you idiot." He called out to me. I stared at him angrily and met his bored eyes.

"Who you calling idiot shortie?!" I shouted not afraid of him but did get intimidated by him sometimes.

"Respect your superiors..tch! Why do I even bother talking to someone like you." Levi said and went to grab his tea.

Hanji came running towards me almost making me throw my food to the floor. "Damn it Hanhi be careful with her!" Levi shouted from his spot on the table.

Hanji scoffed and resumed talking to me, "Hey hey (Y/N), how's it going? Did you like the experiment I made you do with my babies? How about we do it again?!" She asked pinching my cheeks.

"Hanji, leave the poor girl alone." Erwin suddenly appeared and Hanji listened and stopped teasing me.

"Sorry Hanji, but I hate titans why would I continue helping you out with those beasts?" I asked and she pouted walking away.

I turned to look up at him and thanked him. "Thanks so much for that Commander."

Erwin looked down at me and I felt my cheeks go red. "Please just call me, Erwin. Would you like to accompany me for some-"

"Hey, (Y/N)." Reiner stepped between us and rested his hand on my shoulder. "I need to tell you something."

I looked at him back then at Erwin. He and Reiner always glaring at one another. "We'll continue our conversation later on, do enjoy your evening."

Erwin said to me and wandered off to join Levi and Hanji. "Okay let's go." I whispered and followed Reiner outside but I felt Mikasa glaring at him.

Both of us stayed silent and began to walk further into the wooded area. Reiner stopped and so did I, "Well? What's up?"

Reiner stayed silent and he began to cry? Just a few days ago Marco had been killed and he seemed distant and not himself..

"Reiner?"

"I felt so pathetic and couldn't do anything...I feel responsible for Marco's death..(Y/N).." Reiner clenched his fists and began hitting a tree in anger and fell to his knees. "Shit!" I quietly stepped closer and knelt down down to his level and took a seat looking up at the sky.

"It's a beautiful night isn't it?.."

Reiner stopped shaking and slowly looked up and looks at the sky with me. "Reiner..we can't save everyone we love..look at me I'm an orphan and lost my adoptive parents..you're the first person I've spoken about them."

Reiner looked at me and wiped his eyes. "How were they?"

"They were the best. They gave me the childhood they never had, to be honest I'd love to be like them if someday I were to have kids. Maybe live in peace, start a family and enjoy life.."

"Who would your partner be?"

"Hmm?" I looked at Reiner and tilted my head and smiled. "Probably someone like you to be honest." I confessed and felt my face go red.

Its hard to believe I was so cold, distant and pushed him away. My past me would have though if falling in love with Reiner.

Reiner moved closer and held onto my waist and leaned down to kiss me. I kissed him back and felt him move my hands to unbuckle all the straps I had on and from then on we became closer.

A month went by and Annie had crystallized herself after Eren tried to make her talk. So many things happened, she was a titan and had captured Eren, Mikasa and I had to follow her and try to cut her.

Levi managed to do the job but everyone in his squad had died by Annie. Levi would force me to stay by his side fearing something might happen and something did but he wasn't with me when it happened.

Reiner and I stood at the forest where we hanged out daily and my blood ran cold when he confessed something I never thought.

"I am the armored titan."

I tried to not show it but I was scared, would he kill me? Bertolt is also a titan, the colossal one, the one who killed my parents and Eren's.

"I want you to join me, (Y/N)." He said coldly and reached to grab my hand but I tried pushing him away but he didn't move or flinch.

"Damn it! I'm doing this the easy way for you! I studied you when you first arrived and I know exactly who you are. You're Levi's family. How do you think you can explain your moves or your bloodthirst for titans?!"

Reiner stepped closer and grabbed my hands. His eyes looks different now. "If you stay with me I'll protect you from these people and you won't ever have to worry about coming back there."

If I decided to stay here ill have to fight him since he'll kill me, If I decide to go with him I'll become a criminal..I-I can't have that not since I'm-

"No." I coldly said and glared at him. I fought back the tears and saw his eyes also go cold. He let go of my hands and stepped back and slowly began to laugh at himself and he held his head furiously

"You made the wrong choice, (Y/N). For an Ackerman you are the weakest for sure, I can't believe I fell for you."

So did he just use me all this time? Since he knew who I was blood related and maybe he could make me join his side and kill my comrades?

That night things didn't end well. I had managed to call for recruits when he had turned into the armored titan. I go myself deeply injured trying to fight and protect some citizens. Eren was beyond angry and Mikasa and Levi were both disappointed in me for being so careless.

Few years went by and I had to lay my job back. My previous wounds took some time to heal and so much had happened, Ymir was a titan as well and had escaped, Historia became queen and we all did our best to protect the remaining walls and it's people even if most of them treated us like assholes.

I finished putting on my straps and fixed my hair up. I heard footsteps and bowed when I saw Historia walk into my room.

"Is everything okay, (Y/N)?"

I looked into her blue eyes and faked a smile. "Yeah the color of these walls don't match my eyes."

Historia pouted and smacked my head with a book she had. "I'm sorry..but I've seen those sad eyes before..you're brother is worried on how you're taking things."

"Damn it! I told Levi I was okay!" I closed my mouth and looked back and
rushed to the crib and gently carried the baby. "You're worried and scared. Reiner doesn't even know you have a baby huh? All of this is consuming you, you still have a choice you can either forgive him so you can live in peace or not. I won't judge you for your decisions."

Historia has been kind enough to let me stay in her home for a while and even made sure my baby would be safe here if I were to go on a mission.

"Thank you, Historia. I owe you a lot." I frowned a little and looked down at my baby who was sleeping. My daughter looked so much like Reiner, same colored hair and eyes.

It was hard raising a baby on my own but I managed to stay strong without Reiner. I trained double and thankfully Levi was my trainer considering I'm his sister now.

The bells rang which signaled it was time. I pulled my green hood up and vid farewell at the queen and kissed my baby goodbye. Levi and Mikasa met me outside and told me to stay focused and not let my anger get the best of me.

I stayed silent and kept my glare up ahead and pulled my blades out and attacked my gear onto the wall. We would inspect the walls and I knew something bad would happen.

There was a loud boom and everything seemed to go in slow motion. I looked down and saw a soldier had gotten stabbed and Reiner came out from the wall.

I angrily rushed down held my blades tight and pierced them in Reiner's neck. I glared at him and he looked surprised to look at me, surprised by how much I changed in appearance and how I stabbed right through him.

He stepped back and in just seconds he transformed into his titan mode. The fight lasted for a while and I glared at the titan up from where I was standing.

"Give up Reiner! Your stupid plan with Bertolt's is over and I won't hesitate to risk my life of it means to kill you." I hold my blades tight and I noticed him staring down at me.

"Look where you have ended up. If it weren't for you, you'd be in Jiyū's life." (Jiyū means freedom btw)

Tears started to pour down my face unexpectedly and Reiner reached his hands down but before he could do something Levi showed up and the fighting continued when Eren transformed into a titan and the fight didnt end up well.

I went through so much over these days. I just lost a man I found out was my uncle, me dealing with how to become a mother and now this.

Things didn't go as planned, Bertolt was killed and Reiner had gotten away once more. I do wonder if someday I'll meet him again and properly have a talk, despite what he did..I still miss him so much.
