So this is my theory on how Yuya can summon Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon without suffering the effects of Berserk mode. For starters, this theory takes place after the battle royal in the second season. So when Yuya first started summoning Dark Rebellion, he ended up going into a berserk mode. In the episodes today Yuya can summon Dark Rebellion without suffering the consequences of Berserk mode. Why is that? My theory is Yuto, I think it's because Yuto is fused with Yuya now.

Ok let's me start from where this idea came from. In the episode where Yuya and Yuto duel, when Yuya summons Odd Eyes and Yuto summons Dark Rebellion both of them start feeling weird. As Yuya puts it "my body feels hot". So with Yuto now in Yuya why is it now that he doesn't feel the effects of summoning both Odd Eyes and Dark Rebellion on the same field? Like I said before I think it's because Yuto is fused with Yuya. I think since their fused together it kind of cancels out some of the effects they would have individually. For those of you who are thinking how does this relate to berserk mode and Dark Rebellion, I am slowly getting there.

So in the episode after Yuya figured out there's a second Soul in him, that soul being Yuto, he could kind of control the berserk mode. Of course he went Berserk with his duel against Crow but that was staged so I'm not counting that one. So after the Synchro Saga Yuya is shown dueling Academia Soldiers along with Gongenzaka and Shingo. Don't you think Yuto's anger might have taken over and they both gone berserk, but that didn't happen. I think that it has to do with Yuya and Yuto understanding more and more of each other's feelings, and because of them understanding each other more they're able to control berserk mode. Well control it when not around all four dimensional dragons.

So what do these points have to do with my theory, well I think that berserk mode has to do with all four dimensional dragons and their "masters". So when Yuya went berserk for the first few times it was reckless and uncontrolled, but when he figured out Yuto was inside of him berserk mode wasn't engaged as much. I think it was because Yuya became aware about Yuto and like I said before they are growing to understand their feelings better. Now I think Yuya is able to summon dark rebellion because of Yuto. I mean he practically learned how to use XYZ summoning after Yuto fused with him so Yeah.
