INDIGO AND KATE GO WAY BACK. It started with their moms becoming best friends their freshmen year of high school. They were inseparable, so when they got pregnant only a year apart they made sure their two little girls were best friends.

And their plan worked, the two were inseparable ever since they were kids. But that was until Indigo's junior year and Kate's senior year.  The summer Kate headed to college the two got into a massive fight over something, which they then promised to never talk to one another again.

Kate went off to Iowa and the two lost contact. Then after Indi's senior year of high school she got into her dream school, FSU. But after two years the school lost its spark, as well as it being too far from home.

Indigo started talking to her best friend, Ysa, about all of this and she suggested that she transfer to the school she was attending, The University of Iowa. At first her heart dropped at the thought of seeing Kate again, but after all it's a big school, she'd never see her right?
