"Hurry your ass up!" Ysa yelled as Indigo pulled her black jacket tightly around her body trying to desperately shield her body from the cold air hitting her skin. But she obliged and did a quick run in her heels to catch up with her best friend, "Florida made you get used to the warm weather I see" Ysa giggled as she nudged Indigo's shoulder.

"Shut up" Indi rolled her eyes as her hand made its way to the handle opening it to the bar. The two
girls walked in and Indi finally felt her body ease under the heat of the building. The two walked up to the bar with Indi ordering a Dirty Shirley and Ysa getting a Mojito. As soon as the drink was handed to the two, Indi's lips were grasped around the straw take a small sip of her drink.

As the two were talking about whatever came into their mind as well as now being three drinks deep a loud eruption of cheers made them snap their heads to the door trying to see what everyone was so excited about. The Iowa Women's Basketball team had just walked through the door after winning their game yesterday. Indi quickly turned her head back in front of her as she used her hand to shield her face.

"What the hell are you doing?" Ysa whispered yelled trying to pull the girls hand from her face.

"We should go, don't you think?" her words left her mouth quickly as she continued trying to cover her face. She couldn't tell if it was the liquor or embarrassment that filled her blood, but she knew she needed to leave immediately.

Ysa's eyes looked back at the team before they landed onto Kate. "Oh I understand" she giggled nudging the girl in the side, "someone has a crush" she spoke dragging out the last word.

"No I don't. We're just not on the best terms" Indigo responded shrugging her shoulders before taking another sip from her glass.

"Why don't you get on good terms then? Aren't you friends with Jada?" Ysa questioned pulling the drink away from Indigo earning an eye roll.

"Yes, but I'm not ready to face her. We had a really big fight last time we talked" she spoke as her messed with her manicured nails trying to avoid eye contact.

"Ok, well it's been years Indi! Years! I'm sure whatever happened she's not mad about it anymore" Ysa tapped her glasses as she spoke trying to encourage her.

"I'll prove you wrong" Indi smiled before standing up out of her seat and walking over to Jada as she was sitting with the team. And just as she suspected as soon as she was over there the blonde quickly excused herself and walked away.

"Indi!" Jada yelled wrapping the girl in her arms, "You should've told me you were coming out tonight" the girl giggled. "Oh guys, this is Indigo Aro!" she smiled which made Indi give them all small wave, "And these are Caitlin, Gabbie, Molly, Kylie, wait where's Kate?" she questioned stopping her introductions.

"Hi" Indi smiled at everyone, but got a smug look from Caitlin, which she of course knew was Kate's best friend, so it didn't really surprise her much. "Lovely meeting yall but I'm gonna head out" Indi said placing her hand on Jadas shoulder.

"Oh ok" Jada frowned, "see you tomorrow" she said placing a kiss on the girls cheek before walking back to Ysa.

"Told you, now let's leave please" Indi complained as she grabbed her friend's hand pulling her off the bar stool.
