Still smells like you

As Kate's eyes fluttered opened to Indigo poking her side trying to wake her up. And, right then, she realized that last night was not just another one of her dreams, but had actually happened.

"Five more minutes," the blonde's voice was low and full of sleep as she tugged Indigo into her side and nuzzled her head into the girls neck.

"Kate, you gotta get up," Indigo giggled, attempting to push Kate off, but it was no use. Kate just pushed herself closer to the girl before leaving soft kisses against Indigo's neck, eliciting a giggle from her. "Kate"

"I wanna stay here with you," she whispered into her neck, still leaving kisses.

"You have practice," Indi tried reminding her, but it still seemed to not stop Kate or even make her move.

"Don't wanna go," she whispered, moving the kisses from Indi's neck up to her jaw. And for a few minutes Indigo gave in, relishing in the feeling of Kate's soft lips against her skin, a feeling she had been chasing for months.

Indigo turned her head to the side, capturing Kate in a quick kiss, "You have to go. You're the captain," Indi placed a small kiss on the blonde's nose before sitting up in the bed. Kate let out a dramatic sigh as she sat up and blinked her eyes open several times before she saw the look of distraught come across the other girl's face.

"What?"

"I fucked up," Indigo's jaw was practically on the ground as she looked at the dark marks that painted Kate's neck, "Tell me you have concealer or foundation."

"It's old, but I think so, why?" Kate's brows scrunched as she looked at Indigo, purely confused as to why she was freaking out and asking about makeup. Indi then took her phone off the charge on the side of the bed and opened up the phone camera and handed it over to Kate. Now it was Kate's turn to be shocked, but she was more impressed than anything. "Looks like I hooked up with a vampire," Kate whispered to herself as her fingertips touched the love marks. Indigo just shoved her before getting out of the bed and walking over to Kate's desk, trying to find anything to cover them up with.

It only took a bit (a lot of moving stuff around before Indigo landed on an old drug store foundation at the very back of one of the desk drawers. "It'll do. Sit here," Indi motioned to the edge of the bed as she walked over and set the foundation down on the bed side table. She then disappeared into the bathroom watering her beauty blender before walking in front of Kate and standing between her legs.

Indigo pumped the light color onto her hand before dabbing the sponge into it and leaning down to Kate's neck. She applied a light layer before using her color corrector to make it less noticable before applying the foundation once again. "It's not perfect, but it'll have to do," Indi gave a half smile as she stepped away from the blonde and allowed her to look at her makeup.

"No one will notice," Kate rubbed Indigo's shoulder before placing a sweet kiss on her cheek.

"Sorry," Indi's cheeks heated up, slightly embarrassed by how badly she wanted Kate. The blonde just shook her head at Indigo's apology as she changed into her practice clothes, one hickey being visible on her thigh. "Oh God," Indigo covered her face with her hands, memories from the night before rushing through her head as she saw the hickeys on Kate's thighs. "I'll be more careful from now on." Kate just laughed before walking over to Indigo and removing her hands from her face and bringing her into a kiss.

Kate's hands fell to Indigo's hips as she pulled her closer and Indigo's hands wrapped around Kate's neck. The blonde then started walking Indigo to the bed until the back of her legs hit the mattress, causing her to fall back, but Kate's lips didn't leave her's.

"Kate, practice," the brunette reminded her again, and Kate's head dropped onto Indigo's chest as she let out a sigh. "Gotta go baby," Indi pressed a kiss to Kate's hair before being met with the girl's big blue eyes.

"See you later?" Kate asked and Indigo nodded as she looked at the blonde. Kate stole one more kiss before standing up,

"Bye," she bit her lip holding back a smile as she walked out the door.

It was the end of practice and Kate had a towel around her neck as she walked back to the locker room. Once she was inside the space she used the towel to wipe her neck and then her face, completely forgetting the makeup that Indigo had applied.

"Holy shit...Indigo's gonna be pissed," Caitlin said walking over to Kate. The blonde just gave a confused look before she looked down at the towel seeing the makeup wiped off and her hand immediately went to her neck to try and cover it up. "I thought you didn't wanna get with anyone until after March."

"Oh. Um," Kate tried looking for a lie to come up with, "Yeah..."

Caitlin just stared at her confused trying to piece together what any of that even meant.

"Indigo's not gonna be pissed though," Kate reassured, walking over to her locker.

"Yes she is," Cait rebutted, following the blonde.

"No she won't," Kate responded, but this time in a whisper.

"Yes she will—wait. Are you? Hold the fuck up," Caitlin plopped down in a chair connecting all the dots, "God is great!" Caitlin brought her hands together, finally realizing that Indigo was the one who had left them.

"Dude," Kate shook her head, sitting down in a chair as she threw stuff into her bag. Caitlin obviously noticed the marks the two had not covered up, due to the fact they both thought no one would see them.

"Oh you two freaky," Caitlin giggled throwing a towel at Kate.

"Could say that bout you and Ysa," Kate smiled, recalling all the times the two of them had gone off together at dinners or at bars and came back looking a lot more disheveled than before.

Caitlin just stared at her silently before getting up and dramatically walking out of the locker room.
