about gif banners.

I have a long history where I never knew how to make GIF banners, of course. I don't remember how and when I came to a point where I got to know about ways on how to make them, especially upload to wattpad. This chapter was requested by my honeybee taetebts. At first, I had plans to only tell her about how it's done but then a thought hit me. If she can't understand then others might be having the same trouble because of which I decided to make it more in detail.

I will be creating a GIF banner with you all today and I will be showing you on how to do it.

› 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗦 𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗗: Canva, Pinterest.
› 𝗙𝗢𝗡𝗧 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘: Lovelo, Josefin Sans.
› 𝗪𝗘𝗕𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗗: Ezgif, Free Convert.
› 𝗦𝗜𝗭𝗘: banner size: 1200px * 400px

—  STEP 01: Collect GIFs ❞

Here, since I am going to show in detail, bare with me. I will be using this app to collect my GIF. This app gives you high quality images and GIFs. It is of course ✨ Pinterest. ✨

Search your banner or images you wish to edit on this app all you want but beware, avoid taking others designs and edits. It's plagiarism. I dislike plagiarism a lot so let's not do that. God gave us hands and legs to use and a mind to be creative with and let's use it.

—  STEP 02: Open Canva ❞

— Go to Canva.

— This is the app everyone. The thing below the name says it all. I do 90 percent of the fonts here cause this is my heaven, this is my place.

After you open the app, and log in, you'll see a page like this.

— Can you see the clumsy circle I made? Click on it. And make a custom size for a cover or banner or anything you wanna create.

— When you click on it, it'll show something like this. Click on custom size and give it your desired size of course.

—  STEP 03: Create the banner ❞

— As you can see, this is a banner I created and I have added all information about this in the info heading.

—  STEP 04: Download Your Masterpiece ❞

— I have realized not many people know how to do this so I'll be explaining this even for some it may look like common sense to do this stuff.

First and foremost, after you're done with the GIF do this.

— Click on the download thing there.

— Click on the whatever will be given to you as suggested there.

— And it'll show this. Choose GIF and move on. It'll download like this.

— BUT since wattpad has its rules on how much size of GIFs can be uploaded and I'll show you on what to do that in the continuation.

—  STEP 04: Use GIF Resize ❞

— Now the question is as to what website I use to resize my GIFs which I have kept on a bigger size then 500 height or width.

It is the one and only ✨ Ezgif ✨ like I mentioned in the chapters before for GIFs I would use this website. It is to resize them.

— That's what I type to find the website and it's what helps me with my GIFs mostly.

— Click on the choose file option and upload the GIF there.

— Like I chose a file and clicked upload.

— And I will see this. Always... I mean it. Always choose the width 500 or below it. Never above it. Or it'll not be uploaded to wattpad.

— As you can see I chose a width, and now I will be clicking on resize image.

— And it's there! Click on the resized GIF for 2 to 3 seconds.

— And it'll show something like this. Click save to photos and then. There's more yeah. ✨🤡

—  STEP 05: Compress It ❞

— After going to the given site, click on choose file.

— And choose the same GIF that you resized and compress it. And then download it.

—  RESULTS ❞

Here you have the majestic Yoongi GIF being uploaded to wattpad.

The chapter was a reversal method which would show you on how to resize and upload. Also on how to make a GIF banner. Someone suggested me a way of downloading GIFs in high quality? I don't think that will work but I will also do that in front of you all so we know what we're doing.
