A feeling of homesickness for the home you can't reach to or that never was.

Night seemed to be the one of the  most difficult thing to pass. Still as a ritual dawn came and people started to prepare for the event.

Mumbai and Delhi all the officers in place. Security upright , safety drills and drones on positions.

No room for mistake or chance. Do or die meant all those on the mission. Ananya and Karan at the Delhi location. Even tough there was a big argument on who will be going to look at the PM.

They say it correctly,
" A bond between brother and sister is not defined by blood. It's eternally blessed!"

Who knew that the team who use to be experts are today the one fighting cause the question here is about the safety of other.

Karan- You always have it your way. Never are you ready to listen to me but mark my words today that I am not approving it and still if you go there then i can take action against you as I am your senior.

Ananya- You can do whatever you want and I can do what I want. So for now I am going with PM and you are handling the other area . You can also document this i am ready to take the responsibility.

Karan just kicked the door in frustration and left looking at her one last time.

He mentally just prayed to whoever sitting above and writing their chapters....

Please this time I cannot bear the loss or anything . Let us just get this done with without anyone getting hurt.

With that he left to the backend stage where the telecast of PM was to come.

Slow patriotic songs, people settling and VIPs coming with media covering the event.

The day so far was all good. Things seemed in control. Ananya went to meet the PM for one last time.

Ananya- Sir! If you allow can I get your attention for 10 mins all alone.

He understood what she meant but still he knew that he needs to seem that it was a mere coincidence. He kinda one by one send people for task so that they get sometime.

PM- yes Anaya tell me!

Ananya removing a few small knives and blades and attaching the same to various hidden places in PM's clothes.

PM- do you think after all of you here and my people , anyone can even harm me?( Seems quiet amazed)

Ananya- yes the reason is that when they know that they have to take you down they will be extra equipped and I do not want any chances with it. Aap humare PM ho chahe mein aapke aas paas hu na hu aapki safety honi chahiye.

PM- thanks a lot! I respect you young lady par ek baat mujhe kafi pareshaan karti hai... May I ?

Ananya nodded

Ye field ya ye keh lo aise kaam me aksar boys ya males are there. Nothing against you ya females but still you are the first female officer this trained and sharp to handle this... Isiliye pucha..
Aur to aur abhi to ye age hai usme ghar hota hai, family and future hota hai aur yaha tum akele bina koi dar ke... Tumhari family maan kaise gyi iske liye?

Ananya understood his concern had this been anyone she would have roasted him by now but she also respected this old guy and so thought to answer this honestly.

Ananya- I don't have my blood family with me sir and the one's which I have has always taught me to be fearless and serve the nation no matter what.

My uncle used to be the army general. He was injured in one of the campaign and since then is in coma. My learnings are done in army schools and also as a kid i was too much angry on fate and events that happened.

One fine day u have everything and suddenly everything is gone. People thought I too died but my uncle saved me and took with him.

For world i am dead and so that made easy for me to work. And all I had was a very good friend and if now I go back and reunite with him, he will never want me in these works and I can't so ... Kinda a secret which no one knows but now you know . ( Smiling)

PM was shocked as to what should he say, cause he knew that she was indeed alone and that encouraged her to select this but if considering her as his own daughter, he would have never wanted that to happen.

Clearing his throat- i am sorry if I invaded the privacy but trust me your little secret is safe with me.

Also just to let you know that you are my long lost daughter from today. No matter what happens today I would like to keep in touch with you and know more about this only and good friend of yours so that I know who that guy is.

Ananya did not even knew if post this mission she will be here or not. So she agreed . Briefing him about a few important points she quickly left.

Now was the time. Ministers started to come stages and the event was to start.

All the people aligned were at their places except one whom at the last moment Commissioner requested to go to Delhi as he found something unusual there.

Back at Delhi , the PM came on the stage and people started felicitating and officers were keeping a close watch on the same.

It was the time of much awaited speech and so the PM started to head towards the mic station.

PM - Ladies and Gentlemen! I thank all of you for supporting me and being an extended family for me. Today India is no longer a taken for granted Nation rather India has all the lost glory back and also it's about time when we understand along with others that gone are the days that India was just a nation amongst others.

Today India and Indians have the equal respect as the others. Rather India has emerged as one of the strong nation amongst everyone. We have now been the most preferred country for every other nation.

Initially 3 years down the line I remember my first foreign tour in countries where people felt i am enjoying my term as PM. Words though played their magic and gave me the tag of chilled person keeping national affairs at bay. The correct answers to all of them would be my silent victory in keeping at a position where we are most preferred foreign markets for countries. Be it for international studies, culture and heritage, trade and investment etc.

The title offered to us today is not just because we are having good relations with nations rather these are because India has made a special place for everyone who is related with us.

The speech was on. People were getting happy listening to the words and the officers were on the  toes to do the needful .

Suddenly there was a commotion among the people. Officers ran to diffuse the same and the rest near PM stood beside him.

Ananya was moving towards the crowd when suddenly she saw someone passing by her with the  knife in the hand.

Quickly turning she got into the fight and knocked the person out. Barking quick comments to the officers with PM to get him out of the safety passage asap.

As the officers in the crowd were trying maintain the peace, suddenly someone released the smoke bomb.

Quickly covering the mouth Ananya asked the officers to start evacuating the people before any casualties happen. Least they want is to get in the stampede.

Officers started to evacuate whereas the knocked person too was taken to police station.

She started to move towards the PM where he was been taken to safety passage. As she was moving there were a firing shots aimed at her.

As if sensing the danger she quickly dodged and took the cover. Removing the gun she too started to fire towards them.

Although they were outnumbered as compared to her but she was able to manage it .

Quickly reaching the safety corridor, she saw that the officers were down on the floor injured.

She quickly started to run towards the exit to find if PM is safe as they said a few managed to scoot him out.

As she was about to reach there someone fired on her arm from side.

The bullet just missed and scratched the skin. She held her hand and quickly tried seeking a cover for visibility.

She tried managing and engaging them in a fight to buy time for PM to go out.

After a few minutes she was successful in doing so. She quickly ran towards PM.

Ananya- sir you will have to go in hiding , i have made the arrangement for you . Please donot leave the place until I come to pick you up.

PM- ananya people are here in danger and you want me to leave? How can I...

Ananya- i m there for people sir! For us the priority is you. They have nothing to do with people. Just because of the event where you are attending the position for India is causing them the issue. The target is you. And my target is all of them.

Try to understand for me you are important and so is them. I will make sure all are okay.

PM-( sadly smiles) I hope in that All you have your name as well.

She paused and looked at him and resumed the work. She made him sit in the car and asked the driver to drive safely.

Once the PM was out and most people taken out. The next step was to keep the emergency services on toes and evacuate the other trapped people. Quickly checking on the situation she rushed to the place where the hostages were held.

She went from back and started to deal with one by one. As they realised that something is going on they started to take people on gunpoint.

On the other end the situation went chaotic at other places but since Ananya had instructed them the steps, things were in control with minimum casualties.

Karan wanted to head the hostage place but the people injured need his help.

There people were held at gunpoint and they started to terrorize them.

Person 1- These are the rascals who are going to get us out. That PM was escorted safely out and still he is alive. We cannot go back empty handed.

Person 2- Leave all this! Tell me have you seen person 3 , he has been out for quiet a while. Also any update on other hostage people as well.

Person 1 - i also have not seen person 3 but the other people too are safe with their positions intact.

Let's just wait for them to come by.

Ananya was trying hard to dodge them and one by one was knocked off. As she was about to enter through the door , one of the attacker stood up and started to run in her direction. She quickly changed the position and the attacker lost the balance through the corridor and slipped.

She quickly had no time to evaluate and started to enter the hall. The hostages were kept at the backstage. She could hear people's plea and cries for their near one's to be left and let them go.

But the terrorist were rather enjoying the cries of them. He was rather making them suffer more .

She quickly entered and got into a fight with one of them and the people were relieved with her coming.

As she was engaged in the fight with the person the other held a 5 year old as an hostage.

Person 2- Hey! Listen you filthy officer . If you don't want this girl to loose her precious life than leave him.

Ananya got diverted and taking that as advantage the other one kicked her on stomach.

While she was groaning in pain. The terrorist started to take the hold of situation. They had held her and started to punch her on face. She started to regain the strength and take over the fight. Even though she was injured she managed to control them. Informed the officers to take the other 2 terrorist as well and quickly evacuated the people. She was informed about the people still in hostage of them at other places.

She ran towards the other place but this time they knew and were awaiting for her to enter.

As she was going through the passage she fell due to the strings they had put accross the pillars. She stood up quickly and was scanning as to why they had yet not arrived. She was just analyzing the scene not before someone beat her with log on her back. She was unable to handle the blow but tried to stand up. The blow was very bad and she tried to stand.

As and when she stood half way up , they kicked her. She has been in pain all over the body but suddenly she remembered Neil. There was a slight smile on the face and she stood back and tackled them.

She was successful in getting the others evacuate.

She was now heading to third point and had informed the others to be vigilant. Also after she spoke with security that PM was safe at her place and was in dungeon.

Now she knew that this time she was able to manage remove a few people but not everytime she is going to be lucky.

She was extra vigilant and also there were a few officers who accompanied this time to her.

She instructed them to enter the passage from 3 ways. Some went in from the right and some from left. She entered the scene from front and grabbed everyone's attention.

Since they knew that the other places were taken out by her single handedly. They tried to control her and take her down unaware that the others would be taking over from back.

They evacuated all of them. The terrorist were also handed over. She was just instructing the team to check if anyone was left. All the injured people were immediately given the medical help.

Karan on the other end tackled the situation on his end and the terrorist caused the minimum damage there.

DD too had a close watch and they had been under arrest with a few casualties.

As Ananya was moving out , her body was really tired by all the fight she had and also the log had the bad impact left on her body.

She was just pushing herself towards the exit, all the others were almost scanning the place safely.

She was about take the exit when she heard a faint cry.

She tried to gather the strength and went towards the voice she was getting.

She was holding her hand from other as her breathing was ached and she was under tremendous pain.

As she reached near the voice, she saw that there was a girl covered all in blood and crying for anyone to just help her. There was a person who was enjoying her cries.

It was as if the pity and helplessness was getting her high. She neared him but seemed that he was someone who knew her well.

Tiwari- Aaiye Aaiye secretary sahiba!! Bada accha laga aapko aaj pure action me dekh ke.

Ananya understood who he was.

Ananya - usko chod de Tiwari, tujhe problem mujhse hai ! Uske saath ye sab kyu, huh?

Tiwari - vo kya hai na sunna hai maine ki wardi wale na bade sar phire hote hai. Emotional ho jaate hai, unke liye kaun apna kaun paraya. Bas koi danger me dikhna chahiye aur phir vo log chale jaate hai bhaagte bhaagte unko bachane.

Aaj dekh bhi liya. Kya lagta hai aaj isko bachane tu idhar aayi hai?( Laughs) meine tujhe yaha bulwaya hai.

Infront of her he fired bullets in the girls direction, not just one but multiple.

Ananya (anger) - Tiwari !! Stop, kya chahiye tujhe. Kisne bheja hai tujhe yaha. Kya tujhe koi farak nhi padta ye kisiki maa, beti , bahu ho sakti hai? Tu insaan to hai na?
(She had tears in her eyes but none of them flowed)

Tiwari- insaan to mein ... Chod! Kaisa laga , gussa aa rha hai?( In anger) Mujhe bhi aaya tha! When you fooled me and ran away.

Whole country now knows about me. My political career went in vain. Just cause for your bloody operation. What you felt , that just by destroying this terrorist you will be able to stop this mission?

You are so wrong. This time it is not the one from within rather someone who is out of India. Today you have taken down a handful of them, tomorrow there would be much more and something more big would happen. I have an offer for you, ( laughs) either you side by me or you die from my hands? Tell me which do you prefer?

Ananya - what makes you feel that I will be able to side by you? And if the force this time is from outside then so be it, we are very much capable to take them down no matter what ever number they have.

Today even if it's not my day still my country does have the opportunity to have the wonderful recognition and also much more dedicated people who work for India's progress.

I would be much more happy to be sacrificed rather than playing as your puppet.

Tiwari - (laughs in anger) that's right. Now since you have chose the path for you , let me go and try to make your death as painful as possible.

He whistled and in came a few bodyguards with weapons in the hand. They had hunters, sharp balls and knuckles with sharp edges to fight with her.

She composed herself as she was tired and tried to show courage.

She started to dodge them one by one. Sometimes they getting beaten up and other times it was her.

This went on and as this was inside the place no one knew about this.

There Karan after clearing everything was about to reach the place but he was again engrossed by the reporters and also he received the text to check upon the PM.

He asked his officers first about Ananya who informed that she was safe with few injuries and he left towards the PM.

Here the fight was getting intense as Ananya even tough fought bravely but her strength and wounds were now not helping her .

She started to loose the balance and that gave them the opportunity to overpower her. She was been given the blow from the sharp ball at the stomach.

The blow was very intense and that successfully not only ripped the clothes but also managed to tear the skin of the stomach.

The blood started to ooze out but instead of blowing to them she stood up again and started to fight while the boss kept laughing.

He was as if enjoying the blow she was getting back to back. She stood again and tried fighting back but by now they had already taken her in their grasp.

They started to fight with her while a few held her and others started to kick her and attack on the wounds she already had.

She was gravely injured but still she did not give up.

Tiwari - maaro itna maaro ki mujhse bheek mange apne zindagi ki.

They again started.

Ananya- (in pain) unghhh!! Tu kitna bhi koshish kar le Tiwari, tere saamne mein nhi jhukungi!!

With that this made the boss mad and he asked to keep on attacking her.

After a while when she still did not give up, he asked them to tie her with the bomb as he was unable to see that victory face of hers.

They successfully tied her with the suicide bomb jacket and now handed the remote to tiwari.

Tiwari- ab hui na baat. Dekh ek button se teri zindagi sirf 45 min ki reh jayegi. Bol kyun haa , kya jarurat thi tujhe ye sab karne ki. Acche se mere saath rehti secretary banke, kya kya milta tujhe. Ghar, gaadi , bungla , daulat, shohrat , izzat .... Par nhi tujhe to jhansi ki rani Banna tha. Ab dekh...

Ananya-(panting with pain) tujhse aur mein.?? Are teri to ye bhi aukaat nhi to mere saath one on one ladhe. Isliye to ye sab nakli log, hatiyar aur bomb ki jarurat padi hai tujhe.

Dekh aaj haari mein nhi tu hai. Ye teri jo bebasi hai na vo mujhe cheek cheek ke minate kar rahi hai . Apni haar bardasht nhi hui kya?

This was it for him, he got up and slapped her with his hand. The slap was real hard as if entire anger poured in his action.

Although she was in pain and agony she tried to stabilize herself.

Tiwari - rassi jal gyi lekin bal nhi gya na, chal theek hai let me start the bomb. Dekhte hai ki aaj jeetega kaun, ek jabaaz officer ya mein.

With that he was about to press the button but the detonator went out of his by the kick of someone.

Suddenly no one could understand what happened and started to fight one by one.

The officer successfully tackled all of the people. He was about to go towards tiwari when he saw he had remote in his hand and he was all ready to press the button.

Officer- Tiwari!! Bomb detonator de mujhe.

Tiwari- one step ahead and she will be a guest on earth for 45 mins.

Officer - okay ! Fine let me come to you and let me know what you need we would get you the resource, just leave her.

Tiwari - why? Why should I? Who is she to you? A girlfriend/sister/ friend/ family? What? ...

She has caused me enough damage and instead of having fear in her eyes , they are mocking me of my failure. Tiwari can do everything but see mocking for himself.

I care a damn about it and (.. with that he pressed the button)

The bomb started and with that since he knew the officer would help her , tiwari pounced on him to stop him for helping.

The two caught themselves in the intense fight.

The officer tried to come out of him but he was trained and focused on keeping him engaged.

He was trying his level best and still the two were engaged. He went ahead and started to actually use high kicks, 2 cuts and different kung fu moves against tiwari which blew him up and as he was ready to push back he was caught by the officers.

Officer - good job! Don't let him go any where. Where is the bomb squad team?

Officer1- on the way sir ! Will be here in next 15 mins.

Officer- ( yelling) we don't have 15 mins do you understand that. Call them and patch me to them.

Has anyone shared the specimen or pic with them?

Officer 2 - no sir! Ma'am actually went out running out of everyone's sight.

Officer- damn it! Why Ananya? Why? Can't you just wait her for once. Always ready to run away....

With that he too ran out to check where could she be, cause even if not for the bomb a look at her could say that she had no life left in her.

He started to run, on the way he told the officers to inform Karan as well.

Once Karan received the news he came back at the spot.

Karan - I was told that she was out of danger and nothing to worry about. How can this happen?
(He yelled at everyone)

He was filled with what happened and how the officer came to her rescue.

By the information he too started to chase Ananya.

On the way he received call from the officer and they went into the same direction.

They were able to reach an abandon car. But they knew that now the time was very crucial.

They checked their watch and exactly 25 mins were left. Each sec delay would cause them a life to loose. For one it was his everything left( family) and for other somewhere it reminded him of someone special and both could not loose her.

There she was literally crawling herself towards the top of the mountain. Regularly checking back as if to check no one coming back.

The top was indeed very difficult today but she knew she had to do that.

There the boys started to climb the  mountain.

It was just 15 mins left. The top seemed very far but they still kept on doing their best.

There she stood at the top of mountain looking at the sky , wide hands open and for the first time a soft Ananya....

She was reminiscing the good old days, from her birth till her mom's death, the family ,dad and he....

Tears made the way, ( mind) I am very sorry Neil, I only have given you pain and can no longer get you any. Your search for Avni ends here. Be happy!  I wish you can finally close my chapter in your life.

She was remembering all the old memories when suddenly she heard the footsteps from behind. She knew who they were and quickly tried hiding. She hid behind the bush.

Both reached to find the place empty. They scanned the place and she was good at her job.

Neil found some blood stains and silently indicated the same to Karan.

Karan - Ananya ( tears in eyes) you bloody come out right away. I don't want to hear any good reasons today.

She knew what he was going through and she to cried with him but today he had to be on his own.

Officer- Ananya we all need you in the department, i have the squad team with me on the call. We still can fix that Ananya.

It was only 10 minutes and they knew that she is not gonna come out so they decided to catch her before it's too late.

One went right in front and the other ended up behind her.

Karan went from front.
Get up ! And no more excuses.

Ananya looked up at him with teary eyes and said.

Karan , this is enough. Please I beg you let me go off. I can't see anyone else suffering from this because of me. Please make my exit a bit smooth. You know right i am tired, since 14. I have been explaining myself but can't. See today i have the option. You can let me go. Please Karan!! Please.

Karan had tears in his eyes, indeed he has been with the thick and thins. When she put it that way he too got weak.

Karan - is it only you now?( Crying) i never knew that it was only you who cried inside, who blamed herself, who harmed herself, who behaved as if no effect on her, who did works like robo?

Have you thought of me, how will I be able to live without you?

With that he started to move ahead but she got up suddenly and headed towards the mountain end.

Ananya - no Karan!!! You can't, i know you are upset and you have right to hate me the most as well. But for you there is a beautiful family waiting and even if i robbed you for this while , i only know that they would have been anxious about it.

Please Karan go !!( Shouting) or else I will jump.

As if it was the call that with the amount of shouting she lost her balance and it was Neil who catched her from loosing the balance..

As if he understood what was a miss. He knew that he has only this part missing in his life.

Neil- ( tears and hurt in his voice ) he has a sister and family as well... What about this friend who has been waiting for his love for the heck of his lifetime?

With that Ananya could not believe her ears and same was with Karan.

Ananya - ( shouting) you leave me and i am no one, forget me . I had told you that it's better we do not meet. Why the hell were you here.

I had decided that you will be in Mumbai, who allowed you here?

Neil-( shouting ) stop shouting. Chillana mujhe bhi aata hai, ek statement aur bola na to tumhara to pata nhi lekin mein abhi hi khud jaata hu.

Seeing Neil move towards the cliff, she panicked.

Ananya- wait! I will obey your words stay right where you are do not move any further.

She was all broken as one look at him and she knew the secret she kept from him as already out.

Neil -( with shivering hands took the scissor in his hand.

He asked Karan to hold the phone so they could check the bomb)

Squad - Neil ! Bomb is quiet complicated and the time left is only 5 mins. Each decision will be important and calculated.

Now slowly take the red wire and carefully take it away from the bunch.

His hands were shivering and he was unable to do so. Ananya composed herself and took the scissor from his hand. He was reluctant but still.

After taking that she followed what he said earlier. She carefully disconnected the red wire.

The squad people were in privacy room. Checked the same and also helped the people.

Squat- now it's just the matter of last one.

Karan - she will do it.

Neil just had tears in his eyes and Karan just praying with hands folded.

She followed all till the last and finally she diffused the bomb in 30 secs left clock.

Both of them hugged each other to calm themselves as for them she was the most important person.

She was too weak for anything due to the wounds and also they were unaware about the stomach wounds of her which were still bleeding.

While Neil still looking at her slowly went to remove the jacket and Karan on his knees was just crying as if he had a near death experience.

Neil helped her with the jacket and the moment it came out she collapsed on him.

He steadied her and she tried to smile. All the wounds and fight was visible on her face and he for the first time felt that his breath has stopped.

Ananya - here we meet again! The least i wanted was to confront you. He has always been my enemy and so today he sent you here as well.

Neil just hugged her and was kind of absorbing her. She has been like a fragile doll at the moment and that was very unsettling for him.

He was just trying to make himself understand that finally his wait is over.

Neil -( smiling a bit) you are mad! Who does this? Karan and me were out of our wits watching that, there you defused it with so much ease. No wonder you used to be so precise with things.

Before he could continue he accidentally held her back and his hand felt something wet. The last he wished was to meet her in that situation.

Ananya- Neil! Just le..ave. Things ...ca...n.. can't be sa...Sam..me

With that she collapsed in his hands. Usually the hands are full of red auspicious liquid but today this was not making anyone happy.

Karan called the ambulance and Neil just looked at the hand. The hand was all in blood. He freezed.

They came and took her on the stretcher but Neil just followed them. Sad irony of his life nor can he be happy cause at last he found her neither can he be weak as he knew she will not want him to be sad for her.

Karan on the other end was also not good. For him it was his precious relation. Right from the start he had some bad feeling about leaving her alone. She didn't allow him to take the risk but instead became the victim.

He received call from PM who wanted to the status for Ananya and he explained him.

However he consoled himself and went to Neil. Neil had so much to say but words gave up today.

Neil - she can't leave me alone this time. Your sister has been too careless now a days.( Looking at no one)

Karan -( chuckle) isn't it in her blood?

Neil- you could have not all..

Karan - you know her well. She would never let me cover for PM. She is the sheild for everyone.

Neil(with tears) she was near me all those time. Everytime badmouthing the Avni i knew, why? She could see my desperation, my helplessness still she did not.....

Karan-( patting his hands) trust me the way she has grown herself, no one would be able to survive.

Now i understand why she did not wanted to ever come in Mumbai. She had apprehension about the mission just because of this being from Mumbai.

Just cause of her Ananya Image she had to take the mission as no one was that fit for this.

She came ......( Sadly laughs)
She was uncomfortable there.... I knew , i knew all that time it was something that she was not wanting to confront.

Now everything is clear... It was you ..... All those time she has told me many things about you except that you are same Neil who was her only frenemy. Whom she can still never forget...( With tears)

I feel so bad for her that she was never ready to come infront of you and the destiny( chuckles) like always the best enemy for her collided her with you..

Neil looked hurt with his words and could not contain his feeling.

Neil- is it that much she never wanted to see me. ...

Karan understood his emotions but he told him..

Karan- if only that was the case.......
