So let's start at the beginning. 
Hanneke- she was the first ballet teacher that I could remember.  She was a lovely lady, definitely loud.  If I entered the facility, sometimes I could hear her yelling from about three hundred feet away.  Yet she still loved us dearly, we where like her children and she retired.

Crystal-took over after Hanneke retired and she was a good teacher.  Kind but she was not giving me enough of a challenge to be honest,  I stopped being sore so after a lot of consideration I moved on to another more challenging ballet studio.

Ms. M-one of the most challenging ballet teachers I have ever had.  Very kind but she worked me hard.  No excuses with her, just work hard and she works you with specific corrections until you get it.  One of the best ballet teachers I have ever had.  She have now moved to the east coast to be closer to her family and fiancée.

Mr. K.-sweet older man who is kind but emphasizes French terminology and technique.  Each class we start off by having a French terminology quiz which I constantly fail at.  But, I'm getting better!

Mr S.-was the first real male teacher who I had who wasn't just a substitute teacher.  First class I had with him, he scared me so bad.  The whole barre he yelled at me for turning into the barre instead of away from it.  Eventually he grew on me and while he was pretty emotional he is a great brutally honest teacher who I am glad that I had.  He currently has magically disappeared but I hope he comes back soon.

Ms. G-I haven't talked to much about her but she used to work at Capezio's.  She is a great teacher who gives an amazing pointe class.  She's great if you want to talk to someone about pointe shoes.  She also gives a long barre.

Mrs V.-her classes had a shorter barre, she emphasized the Balanchine method which was great to try something different.  She really worked well my class especially on presentation and arms which was always enjoyable.  She too did retire but she occasionally does pop back in and we see her from time to time.

Mr H.-the youngest ballet teacher I have ever had.  He's only three years older than I am!  He would give a consistent barre we would chat and stretch before center and then have a nice center.  He left moving on to find a different career.

Mrs M-is the current principal ballet teacher.  She gives an extremely long barre and when you come to center, you are very much warmed up.  She has had us have the same barre combinations each month so that we can work on technique and focus on our own specific corrections.  When she has a correction for you, she typically plops down next to us and gets very physical and corrects us.  I do love the consistency of her class

Mrs K-teaches ballet and character.  She teachers a good class but sometimes the music is a little off.  We have been learning variations in her class and we get to use fun props like scarves and tambourines.
