I smiled at the sight of my long term boyfriend playing the guitar and singing perfectly to his own songs which I have fallen in love as well. Robert and I met when we were both in high-school the two of us being the weird goth kids at school decided to be friends and later on we became a couple. It wasn't that much of a time when he formed his band and started ro become succesful.

My parents weren't too fond of him at first but eventually became close and we even went to have dinner with his family too. The kids at school were mean mostly to me cause I am a girl but Robert helped me in staying strong and just be myself without someone else telling me what to be.

Today the band decided to play an early concert since both Robert and I were gonna celebrate June twenty three with our family back at our hometown since it's Independence day here in the UK,the concert finished and in no time we made it back while watching a few Tim Burton movies along the way.

For the short amount of time Robert has been playing music he's dedicated to me several of songs i really am happy to be with him.Some kids even copied some of his style in clothes and smuged makeup which makes me so happy knowing how many kids he has inspired.

We made it to his house and his whole family was there along with mine already firing up the grill and getting the fireworks ready, "(Y/N)! Robert! It's good to see you came back early." His mother told us.

"We didn't wanted to dissapoint you mum." Robert smiled and wrapped his arms around me. "I'm glad you didn't." She smiled back at us.

Robert began to catch up with a few family member and I helped his mum in placing the dishes and everything else on the table,my mother also helped us a lot while most of the guys were chatting. My mother and mrs.Smith looked pretty excited and they wouldn't tell me why.

Robert would keep glancing over to me as I made eye contact with him and would ocassionally smile,the kids were playing around and I would play with them too till it was night and the neighborhood was ready to launch the fireworks but before we did Robert spoke up and that's when he showed me a ring.

He didn't even had to say anything cause I already knew what he was asking for I smiled and launched over to him laughing as he caught me and kissed me as he slipped the ring on my finger. Everyone cheered and just in time we looked up to see tons of fireworks lighting up the night sky.

"I love you so much,Robert."

I hugged him and rested my head on his shoulder as we stared up at the sky. "I love you too."
