Height and size has never truly been on the girl's side, yet she does give off an overall healthy demeanor. Barely edging past the four feet spectrum and on into the five feet range, Haven does possess a frame that is still underdeveloped for the most part; perhaps even causing her to come off as malnourished most of the time. Her skin is a light olive tone, dusted in freckles along her arms and over her cheeks and nose. Tendrils of soft, feathery chestnut brown hair fall in a free mess just at her shoulders, or often times, it is messily tied and twisted back into some kind of plait or style that she had attempted on her own. Situated among the freckles and contrasting with the dark hair are a pair of large, heavily analytical visionaries of a light murky green coloration. As for the apparel of this girl, she is usually seen in a casual array of flannels, tethered jeans and tank tops, large sweat shirts, and a pair of old black combat boots.

Some would say the girl is a lost cause, that she is missing too big a part of herself to even be considered...well, herself. That is only how others seem to direct their outward perception of her, however. Dig a tad deeper, past layers that have solidified in patches over time. Yes, Haven may have once been a normal little girl; giddy and adventurous, the whole ordeal. While the past does not always define who you are, it is like a wrecking ball that swings in and demolishes what was once you and then the little tidbits of time come back and reconstruct each and every piece, yet no piece ever finds its way back to where it originally was. A certain spark was wiped from Haven at some point and replaced by the forceful, unfortunate drive to grow up a little too fast. She does possess a sense of bitter wittiness, usually backed by a nonchalant attitude for the most part. A stubborn one, she tends to shove others a little harshly to the side when she is offered help; especially when she knows she cannot take on a certain task on her own yet her stubborn pride rams it's horns everywhere. Perhaps it may even be due to the fact she has grown used to attempting things on her own. One may never know.

Now, Haven does harbor quite the temper but it is not so easily triggered by people, per say. It is mainly served as a means of guarding herself from others emotionally, in a way. Though aside from the negatives, Haven is still a young child, after all. She isn't...completely gone. People typically will not catch a glimpse of how she normally behaves unless someone was to manage a way to get close enough to her and ease her on to open up. It does take a bit of effort and time; never will it come easy for a person. Once that bridge is crossed, one is met with a sassy, playfully witty little girl that can prove to be somewhat of a little brat-...the one that is perhaps difficult to dislike, in a way. Haven, deep within, longs for a strong bonding of some relationship as any child would, yet she struggles to give out her trust nowadays. Due to this, she had a tendency to get a bit underlyingly jealous if a bond is in, any way, interrupted by another.

[ BACK STORY & EXTRA INFO]

Haven was born in the rural town of Jackson, Mississippi to parents who worked far too much, especially after the unfortunate death of her infant sister, Ruth. Her mother, Maggie, was a nurse at the local hospital and worked long hours during night shifts and would only ever be home truly during the day while Haven was a at school. Even then, her mother was too exhausted to spend any time. Though to keep Haven's spirits boosted just a little, her father, Josiah, a police officer, would take her to the station with him and allow her to stay there while he went out and worked. She spent a lot of time with the Chief handler of the K-9 Unit, playing with the work dogs and giving them baths. Granted, it did help somewhat. But it did not prepare her for the harsh reality of her parent's disappearance.
