Kate's pov

I still cant get over how i even got detention for no reason its about 3 o clock and we finished classes an hour ago and the stupid teacher hasnt even arrived yet i look around the hall and only see my new friends with that stupid little bitch so luckily im stuck with Nate,Sam and last Annie i mustve looked around impatient cause Annie spoke "Kate you alright? you seem a bit impatient since youve been staring at the clock for a while now" "O-oh im not impatient" i smiled at her which made he raise her eyebrow and smirk "Are you waiting for someone" she poked my shoulder "What do you m-mean of course not...well im actually late is" "Ooh so someone is late for a date then" "What its not like that" i can feel myself blush even harder.

"Annie why is Kate blushing did you say something to her?" Nate asked Annie while resting his arm on top of Annie's head "Kate here has a date" she grinned "No!! i dont have one" i tried telling them "Silent now everyone follow me and dont speak" finally the stupid teacher arrived and now we were following up to the second floor "So whos the lucky guy" "What?" i asked mostly to myself if Annie attracted to girls? "Im kidding Kate im not attracted to girls if thats what your thinking" i chuckled to myself relieved that it wasnt that.

"Well okay im meeting a guy and im not sure if you know him-" "Just spill it!" Annie began shaking my shoulder "Is name is Braden Barrie and i just met him a few days ago and i feel like i can tell him everything about me" i must have said that in a dreamy voice cause she squealed just like when your favorite band member on the streets "Whats wrong" i asked once we entered the class and she sat next to me "I know who Braden is!" her eyes seem to sparkle "Quiet you lazy stupid kids" the teacher whos his name is Mr Vernon "Are they allowed to call us that?" Sam raised his shoulder and paid attention to him "All of you will stay here for a while if you stay quiet and shut up ill let you go and youll be free from hell as you kids call school nowadays" i tried my best not to laugh.

"Ill be in the other room and dont move or youll be expelled immediately" with that said he walked out of the classroom leaving us in here "I still cant believe im stuck with a bunch of idiots" Lindsey spoke making all of us glare at her "Shut the fuck up Harrison you have no idea why were like this anyway" Nate began to get mad."Hmm let me guess because you got bored and decided for people to notice you more well too bad cause they dont and you only like to cut your wrists because you think people are gonna still notice you" Nate was about to get up but Sam held him back.

"Just shut up girly bitch" this time i did laugh "I know why your like this cause you want people to think that you dont have any problems and that your perfect well thats too bad cause no ones perfect and every single one people in this earth have problems even the ones who dont look fucked up,im sure that deep inside that tan,makeup and girly shirts and shit your someone crying for help" As i said that Lindsey stayed silent and didnt say a single word back "Shit! you made her shut up" Sam whispered smiling a bit "What its the truth" "True.So who wanna get out of here?" Nate spoke while Sam and Annie nodded their heads "How about you Katie?" i looked up at Nate's eyes and nodded "Okay i will" to tell you the truth ive never escaped from detention in my life.

We skipped down the halls just hanging around hopefully the teacher wont notice that we left the thing that we are screwed is that Lindsey stayed and its obvious that she'll tell mr Vernon that we left,I smiled to myself "Is this your time out of detention?" "Yes it is and it feels good to be bad" i smiled as i skipped around the hall but Sam placed his hand on my shoulder "You hear that?" we all stayed still and heard footsteps "Shit its Vernon!" Annie whispered/shouted and we all began to run down the halls and luckily we made it back to class.

We all sat in our spot and heard the door open forcefully "I heard noises in the halls" Vernon came in and said it in a pissed tone "We have no idea what your talking about" "Hmm" he began to pace around the class and looked at Lindsey "Lindsey what was that noise you heard? did anyone move from their seats?" we waited a few seconds and she replied "No sir no one moved from their seats,im sure the noise was the wind" we all glanced at each other and couldnt believe her."All right then" we all watched as he left the room and shut it. At the same time we all looked at Lindsey and she gave us a weak smile "Why didnt you accuse us?" Annie spoke glaring at her "Kate was right on what she said i have problems" everyone looked at me and i had no clue what to say.

"My family expects me to be the nice girl they always wanted believe it or not i used to be emo and i was happy but they made me become someone else for their sake and not caring about me only their looks" "Wow did not expect that" Sam smiled making me shake my head a bit "So your like this because your parents told you" Lindsey nodded "Yes and im terribly sorry for what ive done to you guys i only did that because my friends also made me." Lindsey in fact might not be a bad girl after all we really shouldnt hate a book by its cover after all.

We all spent a good time talking and i wish it didnt happen "So..Kate we heard you like someone" Nate kept pushing it "She likes someone?" Sam asked.he really can be clueless at times "Yeah its our friend Braden" "No kidding?!" he stared at me amazed "I dont like him!" i kept on telling them but they wouldnt shut up "Come on if you just answer the question we wont keep pushing you" "Yeah come on Kate!" "Tell us!" "You win then i do like Braden!!" i shouted at them "I knew it!!" Annie came and hugged me "Hey!!" we all turn our heads and looked at our teacher "Your free"

I began to run down to my house so my mother wont think that i was sleeping with someone or just fooling around like she likes to think i opened my backpack and began to find my keys but the door opened "Kate you came early" she smiled i looked at her really confused 'Is this really my mother or she hasnt her vitamins yet?' i looked at my wrist watch its four o nine "Yeahhh its early" i said as i stepped inside the house,why the fuck is she like this?

I was about to walk up to my room and stopped my tracks and saw a man on the couch "Whats up?" i raise an eyebrow and glance over to my crazy woman "Who the fuck is he?" "This is our neighbor Mike" didnt he have another name? or is it his middle know what i dont give a fuck "Aha" i look at them in disgust "Hey um woman im gonna go to a friends house you dont have a problem with that that do you?" "No go ahead dear" i shook my head and just grabbed my backpack again and ran out of the door.

I knocked the door and waited patiently for the door to open and let me tell you that it was raining lik there were no tomorrow,the door opened and i met Braden's face "Can i sleep here like forever?" he looked at me also confused and just let me in taking my bag "Why what happened?" he asked while shutting the door behind him "Oh nothing its only that i found my mom which i hate with our neighbor and i dont wanna be close to them cause their probably banging each other" i bit my lip an Braden looked at me like a crazy person.

"Okay you can stay here for today then,do you have pajamas?" he asked while looking for some "I just needs pants thats all" i waited for him and he soon found one cozy warm pj's pants and i quickly went to the bathroom and changed into it with a long sleeve Panic At The Disco pullover and smiled to myself as i sat down Braden's bed "So what are you doing?" i asked him while watching him write something on his notebook thankfully the light on the room was dim cause it matches the weather and makes me all happy inside i love it when it rains.

"Im writing a song wanna near it?" Braden asked smiling and picked up his acoustic guitar and began to sing "I know im just that boy who writes the love songs,but when i sing you make the harmony to go along and i promise i will try my best to keep our love alive-" I listened as Braden sang and i couldnt help but blush as soon as Braden finished i clapped and embraced him in a hug "You love it?!" "Yeah i did,Braden your amazing!" i say making him blush this time "Thanks i just wrote another one wanna hear it" "Hell yeah!".Braden began to play the guitar and sang again he sand a song called Seventeen and Love Note For A Rainy Day "Thats beautiful Braden i tackled him and bought him with me in bed and we started laughing but i realized that my arms were wrapped around his neck and i did what i thought i would never do i kissed Braden...
