Kate's pov

I was walking outside of school ready to leave home well not my home but you get it...Well i was about to walk when a voice called me "Kate!!!" Wait i recognize that voice is that really her?! "Hiya!!" My eyes widen a bit and my mouth fell open "Whoa hey Lindsey.You've changed like a lot." I said staring at her new her.She had now short pixie hair still blonde and he clothes were dark and she was wearing knee high dadk pink hello kitty socks with black vans.

"Yeah you made me realize who i really am,so thanks to you i finally found the really real me." She smiled and hugging me "Your welcome Linds." I looked around and clinging onto my backpack "Do you hang out alone or-" "Oh no i hang with your friends now didnt you know?" I blinked and was about to reply but she beat me to it.

"Thats right,youve missed school for like four days now." "Wait its been four?!" Have i really missed that much! She nodded and spoke again "Yeah by the way why didnt you come?" I bit my lip but i knew i had to tell her luckily the other guys came just in time and i told them everything "Whoa your mom is a mean woman." Annie hugged me tight trying to comfort me "Well at least your not sleeping in the streets." I giggled at their jokes.

"Well we should hang out tomorrow or later." I waved at them "How about today we'll head to starbucks and talk but can Braden join us?" "Hell yeah he can." I smiled at my four friends and waved them goodbye again and i raced to Braden's house.

"Brady im home!!" I shout while closing the door and locking it behind me "Please dont call me that" Braden says and pushing his glasses up and closing a book he was reading "How was school?" He hugs me and looked down at me,i shrug my shoulders and fall onto the couch "Kinda boring." "Ive missed school like four days now." "Thats a lot..i guess." I nod my head and grab the book he was reading i raise and eyebrow and smirk "Fifty shades,really?" I chuckle and open it and began to read on a random page.

"Hey dont read that!" Braden snatched the book from me and held it close to himself i cross my arms and frown "Your too young to read that." He simply replies i roll my eyes and laugh "You gotta be kidding me." I get up and sit on the counter "Here i did this for you even if i dont know how to cook." I smile and look at the plate filled with heart shaped pancakes.

"Thank you Braden." i lean up and kiss his cheek and began to eat the pancakes "Heywannahalpmewthmahhair." Braden raises an eyebrow and i swallow "What i meant to say was,do you wanna help me with my hair." "Sure i have nothing else to do right now." Braden grabs some gloves and begins to mix the dye with the other things.

I took a shower and smiled at my reflection "My hair looks so cool!" i turned on the radio and my favorite song came up i let out a scream and Braden comes in running "What happened?!" I smile wide and point at the radio "Its Holding On To You!!" Braden huffs in frustration "What did i tell you about scaring me like that again? Dont ever do that again." He walks away and i laugh to myself "Alright dad." i joke and sing to the song while brushing my hair.
