WHEN THE MAD TITAN THANOS SNAPPED HIS FINGERS, DELILAH KIM WAS LEFT COMPLETELY ALONE. She'd never had that many people around to begin with, so when she watched her mentor disintegrate before her, her decaying world came crumbling down. She had no friends, no family, only the unbridled support of Steve Rogers and Sarah Wilson.

FIVE YEARS LATER, SAM WILSON RETURNED AND EXPECTED TO FIND HIS PROTÉGÉ READY TO PUT THE UNIFORM BACK ON AND FIGHT THE DARKNESS. What he found instead was a young woman in the middle of her PhD in Sociology, stuck in a new rhythm that meant she could lay her abilities to rest and focus on something that didn't cause any more destruction.
