Personality

Xavi is an extremely intelligent, proud, arrogant and vain individual. Desiring supremacy, he frequently spites the Vanguardians for being rivals to his power. While he has no remorse whatsoever when it comes to killing his enemies, Xavi is a gentleman and is bound by his strong honor and pride, holding a form of code.

As Kerberos, Xavi had a deep and cruel contempt for criminals, convinced that they deserved true justice regardless of their status as human beings; he believed them to be parasites of society, overwhelming society's understanding. Despite this, Xavi did not see his own actions and ideals as remotely criminal, but necessary. Xavi was, inwardly, an extremely bitter man who deeply grieved for his lover, Gemma. When speaking of Gemma, Xavi turned strangely sentimental, only divulging that she was taken from him.

Although a major threat to the heroes of Earth-777, Kerberos can also prove a valuable ally. He has been seen to team up with numerous superheroes on numerous occasions, even his arch-rivals, the Vanguardians. This trait is one of the many reasons why he was so unlikeable and feared toward other supervillains.

Despite this, Xavi can be genuinely honorable and is at times willing to set aside his pride and ego for the greater good. He has also been referred to as a "kind dictator" by the various nations that he rules over, as he is extremely well known for helping those in need more specifically people who can't fend for themselves and on occasion has been referred to as "heroic". On top of that, Xavi is also capable of showing love and care towards anyone special to him, including his own parents and Gemma.

Biography

Xavi was born to unnamed parents in Kandoria, a European-Asian based nation. His mother, a maternal and caring presence in Xavi's life, regrets that her son have been forced to endure the hardships he did as a child, including the death of his father at the hands of Lord Regulus Von Kandoria the XVII, the tyrannical dictator of Kandoria.

At the age of 16, Xavi immigrated to the United States shortly after his mother's death from an illness. Growing up in America, he became a scientist employed by the U.S. military in a classified research project investigating a cosmic radiation clouds directed by Francis Abernathy, meeting Abernathy's daughter Gemma, and starting a relationship with her.

When the military decided to shut down the project, as Xavi went overbudget and failed safety inspections, after spending years on it, Xavi refused to give up on years of work and convinced Gemma to secretly board the rocket designed to observe the cosmic clouds. After arriving in space, Xavi was surprised to find that his calculations had been incorrect and the cosmic clouds have arrived ahead of schedule. But before they could assess their situation, the clouds break through the rocket where Xavi was exposed to the radiation.

The rocket crash landed on Earth, where Xavi survived but Gemma was killed. Later, Xavi was wanted for breaking many laws by the military. Using his newfound powers, he escaped, and he grieved for his lover's death, blaming himself for it. Mentally changed by the event, Xavi then went onto his home country where he used his newfound powers to leading a revolution to take over Kandoria from Regulus, and succeeding it. He then took on a new alias: Kerberos, before becoming the new ruler of his home.

Later, he became the frequent adversary of the superhero team Vanguardians, who he menaced after they tried to free his nation from his rule. After his encounter with Hexmaker, and later Qliphoth, Xavi became fascinated with magic and occult. He later discovered a Grimoire belonging to an ancient sorcerer that he used to grant himself with a magic. He gained access to a rare form of magic known as the Speech Magic, which allowed him to warp reality through his speeches. Despite this, he was defeated by the Vanguardians. While this infuriated him, he also gained a begrudging respect toward the heroes.

While he was a dictator like his predecessor himself, Xavi ruled also fairly, and ensured that his people were fed, clothed, and warm under a roof. He also successfully modernized his nation, something that the previous rulers of Kandoria were unable to.

During the Great Horizon War, Xavi decided to remain neutral during the war, as he was disgusted with the Chaosbringers (particularly Dystopian) and their actions against the world and he feared that they might target his people next.

While the Vanguardians managed to kill and defeat the Chaosbringers, they were sent to another world by God upon their deaths. Meanwhile, Xavi, discovered that there were handful of survivors from the war. He welcomed them to Kandoria where it became safe haven for other people in the world who survived the chaos from the war...

Powers

Evohuman-Mage Hybrid Physiology: While Xavi is an Evohuman who gained his powers after being exposed to the cosmic radiations, he also taught himself in magic using an ancient grimoire.

Cosmic Radiation Manipulation: Xavi possesses the ability to generate and manipulate cosmic radiations. With his powers, Xavi possesses superhuman strength, durability, agility, and even flight. He can additionally blasts energy beams made out of cosmic energy as well, while also augmenting his physical abilities.

Speech Magic: Xavi's magic allows him to use a rare and ancient magic based on verbal words and speeches. With it, Xavi is able to manipulate his surroundings through his speeches.

Vocal Reality Warping: Xavi is able to warp reality through anything he speaks and transform anything he says into reality. With it, he can manifest almost phenomenon he wishes by speaking the proper command, can create and control a wide variety of objects and various elements. He is able to affect every living beings and even objects as well.

Mind Control: With his command, Xavi is able to control anyone he speaks to. The person under his control are completely helpless and cannot be freed unless Xavi does so.
