Chapter Two, Real Life.
Present Time / June 2023

    The satisfying squeaking of shoes against the floor and the sound of cameras snapping as media girls and photographers were taking pictures was like music to Arabella's ears. She stands next to Geno Auriemma, the Head Coach of the team with her arms crossed over her chest.
 
    The girls have been practicing more than ever during their time off since new season doesn't start for a few months. But coach wasn't to be more prepared than anything especially since for the past few years the girls have been handling injuries after injuries and hit after hit in the last few seasons.

    Therefore this year the team have been trying to do everything they can do to prevent it from happening again, but no one can predict the future unfortunately.

    The girl have been practicing for the last two hours, they were exhausted and drenched in sweat. Arabella was yelling encouraging words to them, but also correcting them when did something wrong against their opponent.

    Might as well add coaching assistant to her résumé.

    Coach Geno loved when Arabella was in practice or anywhere with them for that matter. She was exceptionally good at her job, it also helps that she used to be a basketball player and a volleyball player so she gives amazing advice on court whatever they needed it. She also happens to be amazing person as well.

    Geno genuinely doesn't know what to do without her once she's gone.

   "Water break!" The coach announced, all of the girls sigh in relief walking over to Arabella and the assistant coach, Jamelle Elliott they were passing their gatorade, water bottles.

    They had a five minute break then they went back to practice for 30 minutes and coach decided to call it a day.

    The indoor basketball court was basically empty when she decided to leave along with the staff and walked over to get get her bag that was on the bleachers.

    Arabella can already envision how her day is going to go, she's gonna take her nice warm bath, read over some lines and probably eat some cookie dough ice cream—

    "Bella!"

    Paige's voice echoes amongst the basketball courts walls as she lightly jogged over to Bella, causing the Puerto Rican to turn around at the sound.

    Paige was fully changed out of her sticky and sweaty clothes and changed into a Uconn Black T-shirt with a black Nike jacket along with white sweatpants that matched with Nike sneakers, her hair was in a messy low bun and her cheeks slightly pink from practice.  

    Bella couldn't help but to think that she looked...very good.

     Arabella sighs, grabbing her bag from the bleachers, placing the black bag strap over her shoulder, "How can I help you miss buckets?" Bella teases glancing up at the taller girl.

    Paige's smiles looking down at Bella's big brown eyes, "Me, Nika, Ice, Kk, Azzi and Coraline are going to the huskies bar we were wondering if you want to join? You can invite Zana and Tina, of course."

    Bella breathes out, "Mm, I don't know p...." for the past month that she returned from filming movies to TV shows back to back and interviews after interviews, all the girl wanted was to relax.

    Paige groaned, "Come on when was the last time that you had some real fun?"

    Bella had the answer to the question, but decided to keep it to herself since it was very inappropriate.

    "Bella, we missed you, just please come hang out with us." Paige plead, her beautiful blue eyes, begging her to say yes as she emerges her hands together in front of her face.

    Arabella officially hates Paige Bueckers stupid beautiful blue eyes.

    Arabella was currently in Zana's and Tina's dorm room laying her body on Tana's comfortable bed, scrolling through her phone waiting for the two cheerleaders to get ready.

    Bella met the brunette, Zana in sophomore year in their psychology class along the way, she got introduced to the redhead, Tina.

   Tina and Bella actually used to date for a few months, but both separated due to the fact that they thought they were better off as friends. It was really awkward at first, but they quickly got over it and now are very good friends again...well that's at least what she told herself.

    Bella knew that she had to tell the girls earlier time to get ready or else they were going to be late as usual.

    The other girl was already dressed as always, she was wearing a long sleeve black off shoulder shirt with white jeans shorts and black heels with her signature gold jewelry, and her curly hair now straighten.

    Least to say she looked good and felt good.

    Bella was scrolling through TikTok, liking and laughing at some of the slideshow and videos until she stumbled upon an edit of her best friend, Paige Bueckers.

    Bella turn off the iPhone for a moment popping her head up from the comfortable pillow of Zana's looking around the room making sure that the girls are still in the bathroom doing their make up before turning on her phone again watching the fan made video clip again and again.

    It's normal to find your best friend since childhood extremely attractive? And to watch fan made edits of hers on repeat.

    ...Right?

    "Bell, what are you watching?" Tina's voice brings Bella out of her thoughts she quickly turns off her phone sliding it into her shorts back pocket, and stands up from the younger girls bed, " Nothing, can we go now? you guys are taking freaking forever."
  
   Tina raises her eyebrows at Bella becoming defensive, letting it go, she walks over to her closet and grabs her black coach bag.

    Zana rolled her eyes, walking out of the bathroom and grabbed her perfume from her nightstand and sprayed it all over her body. "Well, I'm sorry that we wanted to look extra hot seeing the hottest basketball players ever." Bella rolled her eyes and looks at her reflection through the mirror that was attached to the dorm room door, fixing her hair.

    After what seems like forever the three girls walked out of the dorm room not before Zana suddenly speaks up.

    "I called dibs on Nika!"

    "Bitch, no the fuck you don't!"

    Bella shakes her head laughing, it was going to be a long night.

Just a little fact the reason why Bella has more followers than the other girls is because she has been in a lot of popular TV shows and movies for example here's some of the projects she has been for the past 4 years of her acting career.
