"Am I ever getting my sweatshirt back?" Jake asked with a yawn as he stretched his arms.

Natasha gave him a flirty smirk as she shrugged coyly. "Only if you take it off me yourself."

"I do not have a problem with that," He grinned before he playfully tackled her.

Natasha laughed as her back hit the mattress and Jake splayed on top of her like an octopus. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he pressed his lips to hers. The two stayed in bed like that for another few minutes, laughing and talking quietly as they ignored their alarm.

With one last kiss, Natasha finally stood up. "Help me find my shirt."

Jake paused and shook his head. "You know, as much as I want to, I don't want to."

"Maid of honor? Yes, a million times, yes! It would be an honor," Charles gasped, "Oh, my God, that's why they call it that."

"Great, but I specifically asked Tasha to be my maid of honor," Rosa reminded Charles with a weird look, "You're my bridesmaid and so are Gina, Amy, and Rich."

"I guess that's okay," He shrugged, "If you want to water down your Charles Boyle with a couple of ice cubes."

"I am so excited!" Rich grinned excitedly, "This will be great practice for when I'm Tasha's maid of honor at her wedding!"

"Count me in as long as I get eight plus-ones," Gina informed casually.

"Guys, focus. We need to start planning," Amy demanded before she turned to Rosa with a warm smile, "So when's the wedding? Next summer, next fall, next winter?"

"Next week."

Amy's jaw dropped and her eyes widened. "Next what? Next week? That is not enough time to plan a bridal shower, an engagement brunch, a paper mache sculpture of you two kissing."

"That last one seemed more like a Boyle thing, Amy" Natasha grimaced, "And should not even be an option by the way."

"She's right," Charles nodded, "About it being more my style I totally disagree on the necessity of a paper mache sculpture to commemorate the happy couple. I'm already working on one for you and Jake's wedding!"

"Never show it to me," Natasha demanded with a frown, "Never show it to anyone."

"Send me a photo. I want to see if it's better than mine," Rich paused and scoffed, "What am I talking about. Of course, it's not."

"I would beg to differ!" Charles huffed as he glared at him.

"Don't worry about that stuff," Rosa reassured a dry heaving Amy, "The one dumb wedding thing I've always wanted was a bachelorette party."

"Ah, so, cool, cool, cool. All the pressure's on that one event, cool, cool, very cool," Charles breathed out as his head spun at the heightened stakes.

"Super excited for the big night," Rosa grinned before she left the break room.

"Well, I'm happy she's excited," Amy sighed heavily, "I'm not sleeping for the next 24 hours."

"Amen, sister," Charles muttered earnestly, "Amen. I never thought I'd say this but I am glad I am not the maid of honor."

Gina and Natasha shared a look before they rolled their eyes. Before they could make a comment about Charles and Amy overreacting, Adam walked in. Natasha didn't miss the way he immediately glanced at Amy or how Amy smiled shyly, her gaze trained on her binder nervously.

Natasha perked up as she got an idea. She smiled deviously at Adam. "Hey, are you free on Friday? Like, around 8 pm on Friday?"

He stared at her with furrowed brows at the sudden question. "Yes?"

She turned to Amy with a raised brow. "What about you?"

Amy shrugged and nodded slowly, clearly confused. "Yes, I am."

"Great! Because I'm not. You two go on without me. Enjoy your date."

The two stared at Natasha in shock as she ushered Charles, Rich, and Gina out of the break room. It took them a minute to fully comprehend what had just happened.

Adam slowly turned to Amy. "Did she just..." He trailed off, clearly still shocked.

"I-I think she did," Amy nodded with furrowed brows.

Adam cursed Natasha in his head as he rubbed the back of his neck anxiously. "Hey, look, Tasha's just being Tasha. We don't have to go-"

"No!" Amy cut him off loudly before she froze and cleared her throat sheepishly, "I mean we could, i-if you want to?"

Adam smiled fondly at how her face flushed in embarrassment before he nodded. "Yeah, yeah we could. I'd like to actually."

Amy bit her lip shyly as she smiled. "Me too."

"Great," Adam breathed out in relief, "So, I'll pick you up at 8?"

"I will be picked up by you at 8," Amy nodded before she realized how weird that sounded.

Before she could even begin to stutter out a save Adam cut her off.

"You're cute, Santiago," He chuckled fondly, "Can't wait for our date on Friday."

Amy felt her face heat up as she smiled shyly. "Me neither."

After being unable to decide on one idea for Rosa's bachelorette party, they'd decided to go with all their ideas. The night of Rosa's bachelorette party was divided into five parts for each of the maid of honor and the bridesmaid. They each planned a party for Rosa and at the end of the night, she would choose a winner.

Gina took them to crash her nephew's paintball-themed. birthday party. Amy created a drunk trivia game where Rosa asked them questions about herself, and every wrong answer meant a shot. Needless to say, they were drunk in record time. Charles had taken them to 'Le Petit Colon' a failed restaurant that was shut down where they'd demolished everything in sight.

It was now Rich's turn to try and wow Rosa with his bachelorette party idea.

"I present to you Lisa Wolowitz!" Rich called as he showed them a photo.

"You think this is going to win, ya bish," Amy laughed drunkenly.

"Who even is this lackluster bitch?" Gina rolled her eyes.

"Were you trying to lose when you came up with this?" Natasha arched a brow.

"Au contraire my dimwitted competition," Rich laughed confidently, "Lackluster Lisa is Rosa's high school enemy."

"He's right," Rosa nodded and glared at the picture of Lisa, "I hate her with every fiber of my being."

"Now, as you all know, my days as the dark web kingpin are long behind me," Rich explained with his usual dramatic flair, "But my penchant for illicit affairs remains intact although now redirected in less dangerous methods. Which is how I present to you Lisa Wolowitz's own bachelorette party location!"

"Talk with less words," Amy frowned, clearly too drunk to understand what was going on.

"We, my precious drunk idiot, are going to crash Lisa Wolowitz's bachelorette party and make her regret whatever it is she did to our bride-to-be!" Rich burst out excitedly.

"Dope!" Rosa grinned.

"What did she do to make you hate her? Charles wondered.

"She sat next to me in chemistry once and..." Rosa trailed off as she grimaced at the memory, "She was chatty."

"O-oh," Charles nodded slowly, "And that's the only reason or is there something... bigger?"

"Nope," She shook her head, "Just that. Now let's ruin her night!"

"I'd like to see you come anywhere near my awesome party!" Rich laughed at Natasha.

"Oh, okay," She scoffed, "I'm going to kick your ass."

"You think an abandoned building is going to top my party?" Charles scoffed, "Tasha, I mean this with all the love, respect, and fear in the world you are the worst maid of honor ever!"

Natasha rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "If you weren't Jake's best friend I would set you on fire," She admitted dryly.

"Is that what we're doing?!" Gina asked, an excited glint in her eye, "This is the best day ever!"

"No! We are not setting Charles on fire," Natasha lunged to stop Gina from taking another step towards him, "We're testing out tactical gear."

"So what? We do that every year on tactical village day," Amy shrugged.

"Except this time we're testing out FBI grade gear, unsupervised, in an abandoned building," Natasha pointed out with a smirk.

Rosa's eyes widened in excitement. "So we can do whatever we want with the gear and destroy this place!"

"Hell yeah!" Natasha cheered as the two fist-bumped.

"Best bachelorette party ever!" Rosa yelled before diving into the gear.

News quickly spread between the 99's inner circle about Adrian's attempted assassination during his bachelor's party. Jimmy 'The Butcher' Figgis hired a hit on him after presumably finding out about Adrian infiltrating his gang. The guys had also figured out the Figgis had a mole in the FBI working for him. So, they'd quickly staged Adrian's death and sent him off into hiding.

The 99 were currently hiding out in the basement as they discussed the situation in secret. They'd decided to work the Figgis case off record in case he had any moles in the NYPD too.

"Sergeant Jeffords briefed me about the Pimento situation. Sounds like I missed a hell of a week. We need to bring Figgis to justice and find whoever is helping him in the FBI," Raymond spoke decidedly, "As of right now, we have very little to go on."

"Yeah, the guy was wearing a ski mask, but he had a large scar on his right palm," Jake informed them of what little information they'd found out the night before, "I have a similar scar on my back. Banged into Tasha's kitchen cabinet. No big deal. Continue."

"This mission is top secret," Raymond informed them, "No one can know what we're doing."

"Detective Pimento's a good man and he's one of us," Terry said earnestly as he gave Rosa a reassuring nod, "So let's catch these bastards for him and Rosa."

"Nine-Nine!" Jake cheered.

"Discreetly, Jacob," Raymond reminded him quickly.

"Nine-Nine!" Jake whispered.

"Nine-Nine!"

〚𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑'𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄〛

I hope you guys liked this chapter even though it was more of a filler! I'm sorry it was short but I hope the cute Jatasha and Rantiago(?) moments made up for it. Only two chapters left in season 3, what do you guys think is going to happen? I kinda want to start unnecessary drama and bring Jay back lol.

Should Natasha be the one to go undercover at the prison instead of or even with Amy?

Should Natasha go into witness protection/Coral Palms with Jake and Holt?

Please don't forget to vote and comment!

Have a great day and stay safe ♥♥
