It was break time. A relaxing time as they waited for the next part of the festival. Yukina glanced around, Both Midoriya and Shoto had gone off someplace. The Todoroki twin never felt so distant to her brother in a while. She wandered the halls, she stopped when she heard laughing ahead. All Might had landed in front of Endeavor, and she halted, hoping to hear the end of the conversation she just walked upon.

"Come on! Why the cold shoulder!" Endeavor just grunted. "You should be thrilled. Your children are doing great out there. They are pretty capable. You must be a great teacher." All Might's words had a double meaning it felt like. Yukina just hid in the distance, listening to the encounter.

"Are you implying something?"

"No I merely want to know your secrets! How do we train the next generation, Endeavor?" Endeavor looked down at the Number One hero as he seemed a little annoyed in the first place.

"Do you really think I'd tell you anything I've taught the boy." Yukina just clenched her fist when she heard him glaze over her. All Might had noticed Endeavor's words and tilted his head. Endeavor continued by. "You're all flash and no brains as usual."

"What about Yukina?"

"Let me tell you something All Might. It will be Shoto that will be the one to beat you one day." Endeavor continued as Yukina hid around the corner of the stairs. She looked down at her feet, her hands hurt at the point with the grip she had. "I'll make sure of it, after all that is why I made him. He may be in his rebellious stage, but he will surpass you."

She didn't breathe as Endeavor passed by her, not noticing her in the hiding spot she chose. She closed her eyes, as she turned around the corner after he fully went down the hall. She continued the opposite way, catching eyes briefly with All Might who was still there speechless. She didn't say anything to the Number One hero, just passed by, a slight watery look to her eyes.

All Might was about to call out to her, to ease her mind, but when he had gotten down to call to her, she had already disappeared. The Number One hero would have to talk to the young Todoroki later. To give her a bit more than reassurance.

The Team pairings had moved on. Ojiro had decided to back down, not remembering a thing from the last round. So instead Testutetsu from Class 1-B was put into the fray. Sero did seem confused on how he moved on as well, yet he seemed keen on continuing on unlike Ojiro who decided not.

Pairings for the First round was up:

Shinso vs Midoriya

Shoto vs Sero

Kaminari vs Feathers

Iida vs Yukina

Aoyama vs Ashido

Tokoyami vs Momo

Kirishima vs Tetsutetsu

Bakugo vs Uraraka

It was an interesting pairing. and Yukina looked to Iida, and Feathers nodded to Denki. Originally, she met her classmate in the enterance exam, and she had to save him at that time. This moment right now, a full circle has come, finally the two would be against each other.

Shinso and Midoriya would be going first, and the people in the arena would go to their waiting rooms and the stands. To watch the matches to come. Feathers had approached Denki with a hand moved forward.

"Good luck Denki! May the best person win right?" Feathers had said as Denki nodded, shaking her hand in turn. The students settled down. Iida had approached Yukina to do something similar, but Yukina just looked over Iida with a dark look.

"It's nothing personal Iida. But I won't let you win." Was all she said to him, looking over to the crowd where her 'father' was. Iida seemed to slightly flinch at her words. After that no words were exchanged.

Sakura was eager to watch Midoriya's first match. When they found out Midoriya's ability to hold back was the key for him to start using One for All they were sure to train with it. He could strain to use a couple percentage at a time.

Shinso vs Midoriya

The two were on the arena, and Ojiro had made his way to his seat in the stands. Sakura was near the edge, hoping to avoid sitting in the crowd stands of Class 1-A's place. She didn't want to feel other's over the battles. Her stressing out before her matches weren't good for the wings.

When the battle started Shinso egged a reaction from Midoriya, and Midoriya had stupidly gone and took the bait. Being brainwashed Midoriya started walking to the edge. Instead a brief force passed like a gust of wind, and Midoriya's finger was broke. In the end Midoriya pushed Shinso out.

Feathers seemed slightly amused at this outcome, but was quite interested with the effect that he broke free from the brainwashing. Wonder how that worked.

Shoto vs Sero

The match didn't last long, it was done in an instant as if time froze. Shoto seemed to have put a lot of feeling into constricting Sero in a second. Something happened to him.

Sakura glanced at Yukina who was watching silently. Her eyes flickering to her feet as Sakura made her way down to the waiting room. She'd have to wait til the ice was melted, but it was her turn next.

Kaminari vs Feathers

Sakura eyed her opponent, she knew Denki's quirk, and how he used it. A one trick pony. She knew this wouldn't be a hard fight at all if she avoided his discharge. To do this she would just take this to the sky.

"I'm sorry Feathers." He said as the countdown was ready. "But this will be done. . .in an instant!" A large bright electricity came from him as she sped up into the air. Just getting the tail end of the sparks.

She winced as she landed in a slight struggle. Mumbling to herself as she stood. She dusted herself off as she walked towards Denki.

"You could have killed me with that move Dumbo." She muttered, not please with electricity. She just pushed him out of the arena as he was a bit dumbed down. She was moving on.

Iida vs Yukina

Iida was doing stretches one end. Yukina just stood there blankly. She glanced to the crowd, her father was still there watching. She clenched her teeth as she turned back to Iida.

"I'm sorry Iida. But this will be the end of your time in the sports festival. I won't lose, not while he's watching." She called, as they readied their match.

"Then I wish you good luck, Todoroki." Iida had stated as he positioned himself. When it started Iida mad a rush at her, which Yukina made formed ice on the ground to put him off balance. She charged with her flames ignited.

"Like I said Iida! I will get him to see me. I can't waste time on stupid battles like this." As Iida regained his balance, he moved aside as Yukina sent a spew of flames towards him. The ice beneath them melting. Shes using her flames? Last time Iida knew was that both the Todoroki twins were only using their ice sides. Which were better long range. It came to a shock when she used her flames so close to his face.

"I admire your ambition, but I won't go down easy." Iida declared, charging his engines for another dash. Yukina just rolled her eyes, she didn't have time for this. She thought it would have been best to finish this up close but she needed to move on, to get closer to fighting her brother once and for all, but it was too much of a bother. Instead she went with her second plan, when Iida dashed once more she waited til the last second before making a ramp he slid up, and fall right out of the arena.

"Iida is out of bounds! Yukina wins the match!" At this Yukina glares up towards where she saw Endeavor, he watched her with annoyance, before the number two hero turned away, strolling off. Yukina sighed as she melted her ice sculpture before walking over to Iida.

"Sorry." She said as she held out a hand. Iida nodded and took it, although disappointed he didn't make it farther, he did it make it far overall. He just hoped his brother was watching.

Aoyama vs Ashido

Ashido won with ease.

Tokoyami vs Momo

With Yaoyarozu's overthinking Tokoyami pushed her out with Dark Shadow.

Kirishima vs Tetsutetsu

It ended in a draw due to them having similar quirks. However after they had an arm wrestling match Kirishima came out on top.

Bakugo vs Uraraka

Uraraka had put up a decent fight, Sakura thought. However in the end the win went to Bakugo.

Midoriya vs Shoto

This was the first time when Midoriya didn't fully break something when he used his quirk. He used his fingers to shatter the ice, yet his fingers weren't busted at all. However Midoriya's encouraging words to Shoto sparked a flame within. One Yukina was hopping to ignited

Instinctively though, Midoriya went a bit overboard when using his quirk in his arm. When a powerful attack came from both ends, Midoriya was launched off the side with a broken right arm, and slight singed skin. People from class 1-A were impressed all the same, seeing as Midoriya went longer without breaking a bone.

It became a discussion as Sakura approached Yukina before this. When they realized it was Shoto moving on.

"I understand you may want to face off against your brother, and this is some cruel fate to put me against both of you back to back when I win, but." She stopped for a second as she looked at her closely. "I don't want anything to do with your dealings with your father in this match. It is you versus me."

Yukina said nothing as she turned away to go. Feathers just jumped off the balcony spot, flying down towards the arena as she landed with ease. She sent a smile to Midnight who had just looked at her in confusion.

"You can't walk though the tunnel like a normal person?" She stated to the winged teen. Sakura just shrugged.

"I don't fly because I can , I fly because I don't want to walk on the same path as others." Sakura said to her teacher. Midnight seemed surprised with the kid's words. She turned to the other tunnel as Present Mic announced Yukina Todoroki, who was walking through with an unreadable look on her face.

Yukina vs Feathers

The tension in the arena was high. Sakura could imagine her brother on the edge of his seat if he were watching. The daughter of Endeavor, a man he admired closely, fighting against his own sister. At the thought of this a small smiles spread through Feather's face.

When the time came, and the match started, Feathers soared through the air, a graceful dance of wings, as she confronted Yukina, the stoic ice-and-fire user. The crowd erupted in cheers, divided between the supporters of the young hero and those who admired Feathers' unique abilities.

The clash of elemental forces created a spectacular display in the arena. Feathers' pink feathers glowed with a vibrant energy, creating a dazzling spectacle against Yukina's icy flames. The two combatants circled each other, each anticipating the other's moves.

As the battle unfolded, Feathers showcased her agility, darting through the air with precision. Yukina, known for her powerful quirk, maintained a cool demeanor despite the challenging opponent. Yukina had to win this. If she managed it she would be facing off her brother. No words were exchanged between the two.

The audience couldn't help but marvel at the strength and resilience displayed by Feathers. Her wings became a shield against Yukina's fiery onslaught, only a few feathers getting singed, and her strategic maneuvers kept the audience guessing. The air crackled with tension as the girls exchanged powerful blows, each refusing to back down.

In a surprising twist, Feathers unveiled a new technique, sending a flurry of feathers towards Yukina. The icy hero deftly dodged and countered, creating a dazzling dance of elements. The crowd erupted in cheers and gasps, caught up in the thrilling spectacle of the Sports Festival.

The battle reached its climax as Feathers, drawing upon her unwavering resolve, unleashed a powerful gust of wind, creating a cyclone of feathers that surrounded the Todoroki twin. The icy hero struggled against the force, her flames flickering against the onslaught.

In a moment of breathtaking determination, Feathers soared towards Todoroki, her feathers glowing brighter than ever. The arena fell silent as their powers clashed one final time. Yukina couldn't control the force, and the pressure of the gust blinded her. The outcome hung in the balance until, with a burst of energy, Feathers emerged victorious, the Todoroki twin was knocked out on the ground. The cheers of the crowd echoing in the arena. Feathers sighed as she looked at Yukina laying on the arena, when she glanced over to see if Endeavor was watching, she saw him to be no where in sight.

Even after all that you still won't acknowledge your daughter? What does Keigo see in you. Feathers looked over her wings, a few of her feathers were missing from the flames of Yukina during the fight. She watched the medic's take off the Todoroki as she turned to head off as well. Thinking of her own brother. Did Keigo watch her fight?

Tokoyami vs Ashido

Ashido lost to Tokoyami.

Bakugo vs Kirishima

Even with his hardening, Kirishima has a certain durability to him that was easily cracked.

Shoto vs Feathers.

"I'm getting some major De-ja-vu here." Sakura had called to Shoto. "Unless you plan on staying headstrong and not using those flames. After all you did use the last fight."

"That was a mistake." Shoto said, watching her closely. He had seen her fight with his sister, on how she dodged and weaved. She was going to be hard to hit with her speed. It started in almost a quick session.

The cold air intensified as Todoroki summoned his icy quirk, creating a frozen battleground. Feathers, undeterred, prepared for the frosty challenge. Todoroki's frigid aura enveloped the arena, ice crystals forming on the ground beneath his feet. Feathers, agile and quick, dodged the initial onslaught of ice shards.

Feathers soared through the icy air, her pink feathers leaving trails of shimmering light. Todoroki, relentless in his control over the cold, conjured towering ice pillars in an attempt to corner his nimble opponent. Yet, Feathers gracefully danced between them, avoiding the frosty obstacles with finesse. "Your ice is as slow as you!" Feathers called to Todoroki.

The temperature dropped further as Todoroki unleashed a barrage of icicles, angrily aiming to immobilize Feathers. She responded with a dazzling display of acrobatics, weaving through the frozen projectiles with precision. The audience marveled at her agility and strategic prowess.

As the battle intensified, Todoroki focused his powers, creating a colossal ice wall that loomed before Feathers. Undeterred, she summoned a powerful gust of wind, scattering the icy barrier into a shimmering mist. The crowd erupted in cheers, appreciating the remarkable clash between the two formidable contenders. "Trying to dazzle the crowd with these moves? I suppose I can show off more." Another comment came as Feathers smirked.

Todoroki, determined to showcase the extent of his ice manipulation, conjured intricate ice sculptures that moved at his command. Feathers, however, remained unfazed, her feathers slicing through the frozen creations with ease. The spectacle reached its peak as the combatants pushed each other to their limits, creating a mesmerizing dance of ice and feathers.

In a final, dramatic moment, Todoroki unleashed a blizzard of freezing winds, attempting to envelop Feathers in a wintry storm. With unwavering resolve, Feathers gathered her strength and, with a burst of energy, soared through the icy tempest. When the tempest cleared the people saw Todoroki, simmering, out of bounds. The arena fell silent for a moment before erupting into thunderous applause as Feathers emerged victorious, her feathers glistening with frost.

Feathers let out a breath that was visible, her eyes closing in response to the chill. She never liked winter, she didn't like how the ice weighed in the feathers she flew with. However she was in the final, she knew she'd end up fighting Bakugo. Feathers escaped to a place where she could warm up, she'd have to make a real strategy for her next fight.

Tokoyami Vs Bakugo

With Tokoyami having a weakness to light Dark Shadow still stood no chance.

Interlude

Sakura wasn't sure if it was her feeling anxious or her friends around her. Midoriya, Uraraka and Denki were all talking at the same time in the waiting room. Iida had gone off elsewhere, apparently something important with family. The three were ecstatic with the spectacles she had shown against the Todoroki twins.

"It was a surprise when you made a gust so harsh to destroy that ice!" Midoriya said with sparkles in his eyes. "How strong are your wings to push wind forward like that? If you needed to, could your wings hold something that weighed heavily? What about if you use your feathers? I knew you could pick up Aizawa but exactly how much-"

"Midoriya." Sakura interrupted the green haired ranting. Midoriya realized he was mumbling again before stopping. He rubbed the back of his head slightly embarrassed.

"Sorry. I guess your next opponent is Kacchan yeah? What's your plan?" Midoriya looked over her as the other too listened intently. Sakura smiled and winked at them.

"They say birds are able to consume rocks to help them digest foods. Poprock has the belief that he's above everyone. I just have to show him he's wrong." Sakura shrugged. "I'm pretty fast, and even if he'd explosive, when a bird goes against a stone, the bird wins no doubt."

The three glanced at each other, seeing the determination from their feathered classmate. Sakura could feel their excitement as she prepared herself to walk towards the door. Yukina, I'll be sure to win for you. If nothing I'll make sure whatever happens after you'll be looked after.
