"Holy shit, why's it so damn hot today?!" Naoki said as he walks along the town, he groaned as he took a glance up at the sky.

"Well, it's summer… so it's just that hot." Aichi replied and sighed.

"I'm off here now, Naoki-kun! See you tomorrow!" Aichi said and parted ways from Naoki.

"Yeah, see ya Aichi! Have a great time with Kourin!" Naoki said and chuckled at Aichi when he saw Aichi blushing.

Naoki sighed and continued to walk until he reached Card Capital, he went inside and saw Misaki at the counter reading a book, on the fighting tables were Kai, Miwa and Kamui playing Vanguard.

"Oh, welcome, Ishida." Misaki greeted as she saw Naoki.

"Y-yo, Boss Lady…" Naoki greeted back, not noticing the glare that Misaki gave him. Naoki looked at her and gulped in nervousness, "Eh, I mean Senpai."

Naoki then looked around and glanced back at Misaki. "Hey, do you have some time this weekend?"

"Yes, why?" Misaki replied.

"Well, I-I just wanna ask you out on a da-"

Suddenly, someone went up to them, it was no other than Kai.

"Hey, Tokura. Do you got any binder cards for Kagero?" Kai asked with his usual low tone, but Misaki noticed something's off with his voice, it was like he sounded angry.

"Yeah, wait a sec." Misaki went to find some binders.

Kai glared at Naoki and went near him, "Listen here, I'm just going ask you a few things Ishida." He said.

"What is it, Kai? You sound angry?" Naoki responded, raising his eyebrows.

"What did you ask her?" Kai asked and Naoki blushed.

"W-what the heck are you talkin' 'bout?!" Naoki stuttered.

"Just answer the question already, Ishida." Kai's glare became much more angry.

"I- I wanted to ask her…" Naoki was cut off when Misaki came back and was holding two binders.

"Here, just look and see if you can find cards inside." Misaki said and looked at the two awkward boys. She just ignored it and continued to read her book, not even making a deal about Naoki's request.

Kai had an angry expression wore on his face, he doesn't even understand why he's this angry. Or maybe it was because he saw Misaki with Naoki? And is it because he found out that Naoki was trying to flirt on her?

'Hell, am I… in love with Tokura?' Kai thought, he suddenly realized that he does. Kai blushed and stared at one of the cards on the binder.

"Kai?" Misaki spoke and Kai got out from his thoughts, Kai looked at Misaki. "Kai, you seem to be spacing out, what's wrong?"

"No, it's nothing." Kai replied and looked back at the binder.

"Uh, Misaki-Senpai, can you… uh…" Naoki spoke and Kai could hear them, not that he was eavesdropping, but Naoki's voice can be heard clearly.

"Well, if you got some time this weekend, do you wanna go out with me?" Naoki asked bashfully.

'What? Tokura, say no.' Kai wanted to say but he kept quiet as he flipped throughout the pages.

"Well, I don't know." Misaki replied and Kai internally felt happy but he didn't smile.

"C'mon please! Boss Lad-"

"I won't come with you if you keep on calling me that." Misaki said.

'Great job Ishida, you screwed up.' Kai thought mockingly.

"S-sorry, Senpai. But please, l-let's go out on a date this weekend! It's gonna be my treat." Naoki pleaded and clasped his hands for begging.

Misaki sighed and smiled, she put her hand on Naoki's hair to ruffle it. "Alright, since you're too hopeless, I will."

'What the fuck?!' Kai scowled at them

"Really?! Thanks, Boss Lady- I mean, Misaki-Senpai!" Naoki replied happily, there were glowing on his eyes and he grinned at Misaki.

'WHAT THE FUCK?!' Kai felt anger rising up his chest, he glared at the two and took some cards.

"I'll buy these two." Kai said as he slammed the cards on the counter, causing everyone to look at the brunette.

"Seriously Kai? Bermuda Triangle units?" Misaki said, trying not to laugh.

Naoki snorted as he tried to consume his laughter, but it failed. "Hahahaha, holy shit Kai! Hahahaha!"

Kai looked at the cards and he felt ashamed, he blushed and brought the cards back to the binder, he quickly tried to find Kagero units and when he found he took it and gave it to Misaki.

"H-here…" Kai said, he found Misaki smiling and he blushed hardly.

"Say, Kai. Why are you angry?" Misaki asked and she saw that Naoki is still laughing. "Ishida, cut it off or I'll kick you out." She told Naoki.

"Eh, Ah! S-sorry!" Naoki giggled nervously.

"I…I wanted to…" Kai spoke, "I'm just…" He sighed as he continued, "I wanted to take you out this weekend too, but Ishida got you first so…"

"Oh, is that why you're angry?" Misaki asked.

"Yeah." Kai replied and took the cards. He then left them without saying a word.

Misaki knew something's wrong with Kai ever since Naoki had asked her out. Why? Kai will never act that way! What is the reason?

"Could it be… Kai's just jealous of you and Ishida-kun?" Akari, her friend stated.

"No way… Kai? He'll never be like that unless.." Misaki said and she stopped as she realized.

"Oh!!! Now you've realized! And do you know the reason why Ishida-kun asked you out?" Akari smirked at her.

"W-what?" Misaki questioned.

"Because, duh! Three words, girl! He likes you!" Akari said, "Come on, Misaki! Why are you so dense? You and Aichi-kun are almost the same! Well, at least he finally understood Kourin-chan's feelings for him but you! Misaki! How dense can you be?!" Akari complained and whined childishly.

Misaki couldn't help feeling bad for herself, Kai and Naoki.

"I um... I'm sorry…" Misaki mumbled but Akari heard it, she sighed and just smiled at her.

"So… what are you gonna do now?" Akari asked.

"I don't know… It's complicating…" Misaki said and looked at her book that is a romance novel, she sighed.

"Well, you better think it for yourself." Akari told her, "Poor Misa-chan, having two people to like her. This is sooo gonna be exciting!"

"Cut it off Akari!" Misaki blushed hardly and watched Akari as she left the shop.

"Ugh, what should I do?" Misaki groaned in annoyance.
