(A/N: Sorry for the long wait! I had to do my other fanfictions that I already forgot about this one. Also if you guys are asking why I have Naoki x Misaki scenes, it is because I ship them too! That is why... but I STILL ship Kai x Misaki! Well, on with the story!)

The next day was a bit stressing for Misaki. First, she had her headache. Second, was too much heat because of summer, and this is their final day of school before summer break and they had so many things to do. And third, was Kai and Naoki that kept on bugging her mind, which led to her headache to get worse.

"So, have you decided now Misaki?" Akari asked her as she sat next to her that lunch break.

"I don't even know, Akari…" Misaki sighed, then pinched the bridge of her nose when she felt her headache. "This is really confusing…"

"And frustrating?" Akari added.

"Yes, frustrating." Misaki replied.

"You know, I actually thought that Ishida-kun has a thing for Aichi. I mean, they seem so close."

"…Where did you get that from, Akari?"

"Well, when they were Cardfighting last time they were getting too friendly."

Misaki just scoffed, "I remember that, and Kourin got a bit jealous of them."

"I know right?! It was so funny." Akari laughed, "I thought he was gay!"

Misaki tried to consume her laugh at that.

"Eh?! Kai, you tried asking Misaki out?!" Miwa yelled.

"Tch… Shut up, Miwa." Kai told Miwa but it was clear that he's blushing.

"Why didn't I hear that?! I was just here at Card Capital!" Miwa whined, "I did hear you slamming some cards on the table but that was IT!"

"Why the hell would I ask her out that loud? Unlike that Ishida, I-" Kai was cut off when he thought of Naoki and Misaki having a date.

"Ishida?" Morikawa spoke, "You mean that Naoki Ishida from Aichi's Cardfight Club, right?"

"How many Ishidas do we know?" Izaki laughed nervously.

"Eh. One." Morikawa replied and Izaki just sighed.

"Did Naoki do something?" Miwa asked, expecting an answer from Kai but he was just met with silence. "Come on, Kai!"

Kai sighed, "All right…"

"So, you saw Naoki asking Misaki out for a date, and you just got mad at that, then you went to interrupt them? And you told Misaki you also want her for a date?"

"Exactly," Kai nodded, "now stop asking me."

Miwa gave a smirk to Kai and then he went to Morikawa and Izaki. "So, what do we do now?" He whispered.

"Well, it's Toshiki Kai, so you know what to do." Izaki told Miwa.

Miwa nodded, "An advice for Toshiki Kai from Taishi Miwa."

Morikawa then scoffed, "How could you two forget the Great Katsumi Morikawa? I'm an expert for love! With my relationship with Kourin-chan I'm sure you guys can have advice from-"

"Dude, Kourin-chan's boyfriend is Aichi not you." Izaki interrupted with a bored expression.

"That's right Lose-umiiii." Miwa taunted.

"S-shut up! Aichi took Kourin-chan from me!"

"He did not, Kourin-chan was never yoooouuuurs!"

Kai stood from his seat and took out his Vanguard deck. "Miwa, fight me."

"Yeah sure, I have something to tell you anyways." Miwa went to Kai. "While we're fighting."

"So, Naoki-kun, Misaki-san, what happened? You two seem so… quiet?" Aichi asked when he noticed the two being quiet.

"It's nothing, Aichi." Naoki gave a forced smile.

Aichi looked at Misaki who was pinching the bridge of her nose, and was groaning. Kourin went to her and patted her back.

"Are you okay, Misaki?" Asked Kourin.

"Just a headache, that's all…" Misaki replied and slightly smiled at Kourin.

"Um… Misaki-senpai," Naoki went to Misaki, "We can cancel tomorrow if you don't feel well."

"Cancel what?" Kourin interrupted, she started to get suspicious and also curious. What could Naoki mean? And what would they cancel?

"Eh! Ah…" Naoki scratched his head, trying to think of something. "Um…"

Misaki sighed as she looked at the nervous Naoki, "Just say it already, Ishida."

"S-sure…" Naoki nodded and looked at Kourin, "Well, I made an agreement with her that we'll… have some date, y'know."

"Seriously?!" Shingo, who was fighting against Aichi had exclaimed in disbelief.

"Y-yeah, you got a problem with that?!" Naoki yelled back at him.

"Unbelievable!" Shingo exclaimed.

"What?! You ain't believing that?! How 'bout you ask Boss Lady about that, huh?  Granny Glasses!"

"You delinquent!!"

"Shut up, you two!" Both Kourin and Misaki yelled at the two boys, while Aichi just sighed. Naoki and Shingo did stop and apologized.

Misaki felt her head ache again and she groaned, Kourin touched her shoulders. "Misaki, you should go home now."

"Yeah…" Misaki nodded and stood from her seat.

"I-I'll help you, Boss- I mean, Misaki-senpai!" Naoki said and he went near Misaki.

Misaki glanced at Naoki, "I can do it by myself, Ishida."

"I insist!" Naoki suddenly said and touched Misaki's shoulders and led her out of the Club room.

"Ishida, I said I can do it by myself." Misaki said and sighed, she observed Naoki as he carried both their bags.

They were walking to Card Capital. Misaki was hesitating when Naoki told her he would help her, but Naoki insisted. Even during their walk, Naoki took Misaki's bag to help her.

"Ishida…" Misaki spoke, causing Naoki to look at her. "I appreciate your help but I think you're trying... hard."

"What? Me, tryin' hard?" Naoki repeated, Misaki nodded. "Nah! I ain't! I just wanna help you since you're sick, Senpai!"

"But you didn't have to-"

"And about our date this weekend… I hope you will be able to go."

Misaki stared at him as he blushed, Naoki scratched his head and looked away. Misaki then asked herself, 'If I simply go with Ishida, then what about Kai? Didn't he say he wanted me on a date too?'

"Well, I'm… not sure now." Misaki said, earning Naoki a reaction.

"What? B-but Senpai, you already agreed!"

"I did, but now… Kai…"

"What about Kai? Oh, maybe it was about yesterday." Naoki wondered, "Why?"

Misaki sighed, "He said he wanted to go out with me too."

"I see… but you can't cancel ours.. right?"

"It would be rude, you must've planned that."

Naoki nodded in agreement. The two of them walked together, just as then they saw a brunette also about to go inside the shop. Kai then looked at them.

"Speak of the devil…" Naoki muttered.

"Tokura…" Kai spoke, "You're early."

"Yeah, headache." Misaki replied.

Kai just nodded and then looked at Naoki, he noticed that Naoki was also holding Misaki's bag. He couldn't help himself feel angry.

"Why are you with Ishida?" Kai asked.

"I-I helped her to go home, she was feelin' bad earlier." Naoki was the one to answer.

Kai then looked away and went inside the shop, and as he did he just sat quietly.

Kai looked at Naoki and Misaki coming in to the shop together, with Naoki giving the bag to Misaki and Misaki waving at him as he left.

Misaki was about to go to the counter when Kai went to her.

"Tokura," Kai spoke.

"What is it, Kai?" Misaki asked.

"Go out with me this weekend," Kai told her.

"But Kai, I already-"

"Then I'll let you pick one of us, me or Ishida."

Misaki's now deeply confused, she couldn't answer. She looked down.

"I don't know Kai, I just don't." She said.

Kai puts his hands on her shoulders, "Tokura…"

"Why are you like this, Kai?"

Kai sighed, he knew he should've told her sooner. So he built up his confidence and stared at her eyes, leaning close to her face.

"Because I like you Tokura," Kai said.

Misaki was surprised, her jaw dropped and she blushed. She felt heart raced fast. "Y-you like… me?"

"I do," Kai replied. His face flushed red also, he looked away trying to hide his blush. He waited for an answer, yet he was met with silence.

Misaki moved Kai's hands away and looked at him, "I-I'm sorry Kai, I don't… know what to say… I…"

Kai sighed in defeat, he thought that maybe Misaki doesn't like him, and that he doesn't have a chance.

"It's okay, I was expecting that." Kai told her and left.

When Kai left, Misaki only felt not her headache, but also her heart throbbed in pain. She was quite confused and sad when she saw Kai's expression when she couldn't give him an exact answer to him.

But why?

She just think of Kai as her friend and teammate, and that's all. So why did her heart race when Kai told her that he likes her? Why did she felt sad and a bit guilty when she saw him earlier?

Just as then she might have realized, she has taken a liking to Kai.

And that was the only one thing that even the proclaimed Boss Lady couldn't imagine she will like someone like Toshiki Kai.

But what about Naoki? Sure she also liked the guy, but only as her friend, and she might as well feel sad if she rejected him and his request.

Misaki should do something about this.
