"441 soldier," I said as I moved my piece "651 cavalry." she moved, hers."272 new shinobi, Komugi, are you there?" I wait for a response. Purple spores drifting all over the room is all I can see.

"Yes, I sure am. I'm not going anywhere 451 Duke, " she reassures me while moving her piece, but that's "that's checkmate. " I hear nothing but the wind and silence. "Komugi, are there?" I ask again, hoping for a replie.

"Yes, yes, I'm here. Let's play another match. The loser goes first" I want to keep playing as well, but "Kumogi, it would appear that I never defeated you, not even once. " I feel so tired... "What are you talking about? we're just getting started. "

"Perhaps... 151 king" I want to keep playing for her "951 king, " she says while moving her king "komugi are you there?" I ask. I know time is running out. "Of course I am it's your turn, Lord meruem," she answers, reassuring me she is still there.

"I feel rather tired... I shall sleep just a short while, but if I may make one request, will you keep holding my hand... Komugi, are you there?" I ask a little bit panicked."I can hear you alright like this?" My head on her lap as she holds my hand gently.

"I shall wake up shortly. Will you stay by my side until then?" I ask a little weakly. "I've never left your side. Don't worry, we'll always be together, " she reassures me "komugi" I ask again "Yes yes what is it? " she questions.

"Thank you,"

"You're welcome,"

"Will you?" I feel my eyes shutting "Yes" Kumogi answers, ready to listen. "Will you say my name one last time?" I shed a tear which Kumogi wipes away as she holds my hand again. "Good night, meruem," I hear her say as I close my eyes. My name one final time.

I open my eyes, the sun is so blinding I sit up looking around for Kumogi. "Where is she?" I ask before I hear an explosion reminding me a bit of my fight with netero, although to a lesser extent, I look around seeing builds as tall as mountains. I look over the railing. I'm on top of a building. I rush towards the rising somke just to check out of the commotion.

Once I arrive there, I see humans, and is that a new chimera I ask, seeing a sludge chimera before everything starts to shake, is that a giant human in a skin tight body suit with a purple mask?

"I need to lanes." she says, trying to fit in between the buildings

I see a weird tree thing, another chimera. I look back to the sludge chimera now that I get a closer look he seems to have a human inside of him. I decided to leave, but before I could, someone grabs my attention. A human with green hair running towards the chimera, throwing his bag at the sludge chimera as he started clawing at it.

'I wonder why he isn't using nen?' I wonder as the sludge chimera recovers going for the attack. 'Should I save him he's just a human like Kumogi' before the attack can land. I grab the human in the sludge chimera and the green haired human before putting them down.

"I command you to stop if you don't. I'll kill you," I say before releasing my ren, filling everyone with dread as the wind also kicks up extinguishing the flames around us.

"I-i surrender," he said, shrinking and trembling

I turn my Ren off, hearing his surrender

"Good" I say, crossing my arms, bringing my tail closer to me before humans in weird clothing run past me, arresting the sludge chimera I look behind me kneeling a bit.

"Are you two hurt?" I ask the blond and green hair humans

The blonde stays silent while the green haired one shakes his head nervously

Before I can go, I'm swarmed with humans' holding black sticks and boxes

"S-sir a few questions if you don't mind," she asked before I walked past them, disappearing from their view before I ended up at a beach. I think it is what they are called

"How odd they didn't fear me as much as I thought they would. Where am I? I remember dying in komugi's arms, then waking up on a building." I feel tired still as I look around. I see a place full of trash.

'I guess I'll rest there it'll keep me hidden. Then, once I'm rested, I'll find komugi.' I walk over to a sign that says 'Takoba Municipal Beach Park.' I find an empty space to lie down 'its so cold I promise I'll find you komugi' before closing my eyes and sleeping.
