There Yoongi stood, head hung low and a journal in his hands. Tears stung his eyes as he tried to contain himself."Do you have...any idea of what you've done..?" he asked Jungkook, who held an expression of shame.

Jungkook knew that what he had done was wrong, but he had only wanted answers."Hyung, I didn't mean to upset you. I just wanted to know why you've been so down lately."

"So you read my personal journal?" Yoongi hugged the journal against his chest and sniffled. He'd recently begun keeping a journal after it was recommended by his therapist. It contained his deepest, most personal thoughts and feelings.

"I know I shouldn't have read it. I just wanted to know what was wrong." Jungkook had been worried about Yoongi lately; seeing his hyung so obviously sad had been hard."What else was I supposed to do?"

It hurt. Knowing that someone he had trusted invaded his privacy like this was painful."You should have waited, Jungkook. I'm working through it. I would have told you when I was ready."

A powerful ache formed within Jungkook's chest as he caught a glimpse of tears dripping down from his hyung's cheeks; Yoongi hadn't looked up at him since he'd taken back his journal."Hyung, I...I'm sorry."

"I don't forgive you." Nothing could compare to the hurt Yoongi felt as he said those words.

"What?" Jungkook didn't know how to handle it either."But I'm sorry. I really am."

"Sorry or not, I'm not forgiving you." Finally looking up at Jungkook, Yoongi choked on a sob for a moment before speaking again."I can't trust you after this. 'Sorry' doesn't make it all better. You betrayed my trust."

Did Jungkook really mess up this bad?"Hyung...Hyungie...Please, I'm so sorry."

Shaking his head, Yoongi turned away from Jungkook."I can't. I set a boundary. I told you that this journal is personal and off-limits. You violated that boundary. Just...give me space."

It broke Jungkook's heart to watch Yoongi walk away. As much as he wanted to run after his hyung and beg for forgiveness, he knew Yoongi was right. He had broken a clear boundary and his hyung's trust in one mistake. All he could do right now was apologize and take a step back. He couldn't just get the forgiveness he didn't deserve.
