If you told me two years ago that I'd be on my knees for Kayla twice I'd never believe you.

But there I was asking her to spend the rest of her life with me.

"Oh and I don't want anything too fancy Gray. As long as you're there and Luke, Lena, Kayleigh and Isaac are I don't care."

Its not like we had many people to invite in the first place.

Just my brothers and everyone Kayla named.

I knew she'd want to invite her collage friends as well though.

I didn't mind. As long as she was happy.

"What about your sister?" I asked.

"What about her?"

Kayla and Avery had gotten into a huge fight before Kayla left.

When she learned that Kayla wanted to change her last name she got pissed, more so when she figured out she was adopting Kayleigh.

Jamie hadn't been much help.

Although it sounded like he genuinely wanted to know how come Kayla was changing her last name, Kayla was already pissed so she lashed out.

"Do you want her there?" 

She sighed.

"Gimme time to think about it."

I nodded.

We wanted to get married in December so we had 2 months.

That's what the message read.

Three days after I proposed I got that text.

"ISAAC!"

Isaac was much to many people's surprise, a tech genius.

I guess that's what happens when you work in security.

"Can you track it?"

"Yeah of course, it'll take me a while though."

Whoever the fuck wanted to mess with my girl would get through me first.

A while later Isaac reported to me.

"It's somewhere in New Castle, Connecticut."

I pinched  my brows together.

"Isn't that where she used to live?"

Isaac nodded.

"Yeah."

He seemed to catch on suddenly.

"Do we know anyone she might've known who lived there?"

"As far as I know it was only Lena, her mother, her sisters and Luke."

"But none of them would do that and all of them are either here, in Texas or dead."

I nodded.

Isaac's face seemed to light up.

"I know who might know though."
