A young blonde man carrying a big baggage, even his MTG bag, and his deck box that he carrying it always. Looks like he didn't have a hard time with it.

He reached Room 406.

He opens the door with his key. And he opens it and gets inside the apartment. He's not exhausted after all then he decides to decorate his house and then he put the things into respective house furniture like clothes in the closet and his appliances too.

-??? POV-

My name is Raku Minoru, I moved out of Kanazawa City, at Kaga Province at Ishikawa Prefecture, and I'm here now in Tokyo.

I bid goodbye to my old friends in Team Blackout at Dream Wonderland
Hill, a few days ago.

-Flashback-

A few days ago, in Dream Wonderland Hill in the morning.

"EEEEEHHH!!!" The members of the Team Blackout.

"Are you moving out, and leaving Team Blackout, Raku-kun?" Yu Yu Kondo asked with seriousness yet worried.

"Yes. I think it moves out, now and I have to do something in Tokyo." Raku said, "I know it's been hard to accept but the truth is I have learned a lot from you guys. Now it's time to walk alone."

"I see." Tohya Ebata understands his decision even if it is sad.

"It seems you've learned a lot, Minoru-san. I know it is that time that you are on yourself, but here it is." Ishigami Zakusa said.

"It is, Ishigami-san," I admitted it.

"Is this what you want?" Megumi Okura asked once again.

"Of course it is. Even though, I have to explore the wonders of the Vanguard and go to the next chapter of my life as a cardfighter." I stated my intention.

"So I will accept it." Tomari Seto agreed, "Yu-yu, you have to accept his wish. He has done a great job for us and besides, he's been a member of Team Blackout for five years now it's time to say goodbye to our friend and give him the best of luck." Tomari encourages him.

Yu-yu may feel sad but he understands it. Just like Danji leaves the team for the reason.

"Okay. Raku-kun thank you for everything that you did for us, Team Blackout." Yu-yu said.

"I wish you guys the best of luck. Especially you Haneyama Urara-san." I respond to the new member of Team Blackout, Haneyama Urara.

"Hai, thank you," Urara respond and bow at him.

And finally, I bid goodbye to them and leave this place.

-Another Flashback-

Meanwhile in my former house when I pack my things up and all the appliances are in the truck.

"All done," I said then he carried my baggage, MTG bag, and Deck box.

And I am ready to leave this house. Until I spotted Danji Momoyama, whose Nadatsugu Minae, his sister Mirei, and her caretaker Haruka Soukawa.

"Danji-san, I told you that he was about to leave," Haruka replied to their sibling.

"Sorry, Danji-kun, Mirei-san. About my sudden departure to Tokyo. I hope that you can understand it." I bowed to them as an apology.

"I see." Danji replied but he got sad a little, as for Mirei, it was too deep and sad, "Raku-Kun, you got a long way to explore the wonders of the Vanguard game. I hope your journey to your new way will be a good one. Good luck on your next journey." Danji said with a high spirit.

"Thank you, you too, along with your sister and the rest of the Team Daybreak," I said to them.

"Minoru-kun." Mirei began to speak.

"Yes," I respond.

"Good luck on your journey. The Team Daybreak wishes you a stroke of good luck." Mirei replied with a smile.

"Thank you," I said for the last time and the truck leave along with me leaving Kanazawa City and my friends behind.

-Third Person POV-

Raku was done finishing his house. he takes a rest then all he can do is walk around the city. First, Raku eats a piece of bread as lunch.

He wear his MTG bag, and deck box, then he went outside and close the door.

Suddenly, an orange-haired woman came to him and asked him.

"Excuse me? I've never seen you before, are you a new neighbor here?"

"Yes. My name is Raku Minoru, I came from Kanazawa, Kaga Province at Ishikawa Prefecture. Nice to meet you, miss" Raku introduced and bowed.

"You are so formal. And my name is Mikuru Shindou. Kanazawa City was too far from Tokyo." Mikuru introduced.

"Sure it was. By the way, I have to go and make familiar with this place. Excuse me." Then he bowed once again and leave.

Mikuru observes him leaving the apartment.

-Timeskip-

Raku was wandering in the streets. While walking around the street seeing many children, teenagers, young adults, and late adults playing with their favorite card game it was none other than Vanguard.

"Wow! This place is filled with Vanguard. How wonderful!" Raku impressed.

He was so happy to see everyone playing Vanguard.

Then he went to Nishi Bakery, and he stop for a while and caught something interesting.

It was homemade croquette bread. He bought three of them then he left.

He stops at the park and sits on the bench. Then he eats one of the bread while enjoying the view of the people playing Vanguard.

"Let's go to the Card Capital 2." Raku heard something behind him. It was two kids.

"Yeah, me too." The second boy said.

Raku decided to ask them.

"Excuse me?"

The kids turn to him.

"Yes. What is it?" One of the kids asked.

"Actually. I'm first time here in Tokyo so, can you kids lead me to the card shop you said?" Raku pleaded.

"Yes. We were going to the Card Capital 2. Come on, this way." The kids replied.

"Thank you." Then Raku grabs the MTG Bag, his deck box, and a paper bag of croquette bread and follows the kids.

Twelve minutes pass and they reach Card Capital 2.

"This is the place." One of the kids said, "Come on, let's check inside."

"Thanks." Then they proceed inside. Once the kids open the door along with him. Many people are watching the Vanguard Cardfight, playing against each other, and buying vanguard booster packs.

"Wow! This is so amazing!" Raku reacts with a star in his eyes.

"Yes, it is." Raku regain his composure when he saw a middle-aged man with green spiky hair and wearing glasses behind him.

"Your face is not familiar to me. Are you new in this shop?" The guy asked curiously.

"Yes, sir. I'm from Kanazawa City far away from this place and I moved to this city, recently." Raku asked, "By the way, I am Raku Minoru."

"Kanazawa City, you don't mean you are from Kaga Province at Ishikawa Prefecture, that's too far from there. By the way, I am Shin Nitta, I am the manager of this place. Also, you have a deck box and Enhanced MTG Playing Card Bag. It seems that you are using different clans." Shin replied.

"Clans? This is the first time I've ever heard that the Vanguard game has a clan." Raku was confused and yet he is the first time in this card shop.

"I see. Come let's go inside and I will give you some information about those clans and their nations." Then Raku followed Shin inside the cards.

Shin gave a brochure about their clans and their abilities and their timeline and the card icons. He went to the unoccupied seat and take it and he read it.

A few minutes later, most of the people got dispersed, they are few customers there. As for Shin and Raku...

'So this is the original history of Planet Cray before the Chakrabarthi Divine Era, 3000 years later. Besides I want to test which clan I used.'

"By the way, can I show your deck?" Shin asked.

"Yes. But this one is different." Raku then went to the counter and get his deck box in his belt, also it is attachable.

"Here is my deck," Raku said as he handed it over to Shin until he notice something curious, and it is the emblem at the front of the deck box.

And both sides of his deck box are the flags of the same emblem.

"Wait, what is this?! This flag resemblance to the Dragon Empire but the emblem changes more than before." Shin is shocked as he takes a glimpse of the flag and emblem.

And he pulled out a deck from its box and saw the unfamiliar logo which is his former team. Team Blackout.

"Blackout?"

"Sorry, Shin-san. It's just a card sleeve." Raku clarified.

"Oh, sorry." Then Shin pulled the card out of the sleeve but he stop in a hand and saw the logo of Cardfight Vanguard.

"Hmmmmm! I hope that we buy card sleeves in our shop." Shin wanted to have this, then Shin push the card into the sleeve.

And turn the card to the front and see a unit.

"Chakrabarthi Divine Dragon, Nirvana..." he read the card until something goes missing, "WAIT! NO CLAN?!"

Everyone in a Card Capital 2 was startled including the red-haired boy with a pink swirl on his hair, a teal-haired boy with a white streak, a brown-haired boy, and mocha-haired girl, and a black spiky-haired boy.

"Tenchou?!" The boy with red spiky hair went to the counter.

"Did something happen?" The black spiky-haired approached.

"Oh, nothing! But this card is the new one." Shin turned to them, "By the way, this is Raku Minoru from the far city of Kanazawa and he is a good Cardfighter. From left to right, this is Chrono Shindou, Kumi Okazaki, Taiyou Asukawa, Kazuma Shouji, and Kamui Katsuragi."

"Nice to meet you." They bowed at him.

"Me too." Raku bowed at them.

Then Shin scanned his deck if it is official.

After then, 4 critical stars and a Vanguard circle blue indicates which means they are official.

"Looks like they are official," Shin said. While Chrono checks the card sleeves

"Wow! I can't believe that card sleeves are the real deal, and there is a name 'Blackout'!" Chrono reacted.

"Card Sleeves are used to protect the cards from scratches. I hope that we will have our card sleeves in our shop." Kamui said.

"Can I show your deck?" Taiyou asked.

"Yes." Raku agreed.

Then he shows the contents of his deck.

"Wow! I didn't believe these units are unique one." Chrono reacted.

"And that card has no clan, only a nation named Dragon Empire." Taiyou reacted.

"Persona Ride? What does do this?" Kazuma checks his Chakrabarthi Divine Dragon, Nirvana, and the Persona Ride.

"I will tell you that the new Vanguard System later. By the way, these units are from three thousand years later than the original Planet Cray timeline that was currently used." Raku said.

"Wait, three thousand years later?!" They exclaimed but be careful not to bother the other cardfighters.

"Yes. It was Chakrabarthi Divine Era." Raku answered.

"Chakrabarthi Divine Era?" Kumi asked.

"I will tell you that for the days to come," Raku said.

"What about if you test this deck to battle?" Kamui had an idea.

"It's impossible because you guys used clans and I'm using nation. There are two fights of cards: Clan fights and Nation fights." Raku said.

"You're right. But, let's take the rule as an exception, a clan fights the nation." Shin suggests.

"Hm..." Raku was clueless.

-A few minutes later-

They are in Standing Fight Table, Raku was about to face Chrono Shindou. Shin was a referee. All of the Cardfighters watching them.

"Looks like we are the ones who have a cardfight," Chrono said.

"Me too. This is the first time I fight in Card Capital." Raku said.

"Don't get too serious." Chrono smiled at him and he pulled a FICA and insert it to turn on the Fight Table.

[Stand Up! Vanguard!]

Then a yellow Vanguard Circle shows and followed by the showing of the Geography of Planet Cray.

Unexpectedly, the screen display got a glitch. They were shocked about this and they almost jumped out.

"What the!" Chrono jumped out.

"The screen glitches!" Shin worried.

"Looks like it is a system error...No, it's more than else." Raku said.

Until the map disappeared and the screen was covered in scratched pixels and cover and turned to black then another yellow Vanguard Circle appeared and showed the new geography of Planet Cray showing its new flag and its text.

Disregard the text and turned it to Japanese katakana.

"Looks like it changes to the new map and this map is the Planet Cray from three thousand years later," Raku said.

"The flag of the nations changes and its names too!"

"I explain everything. But before that, I will explain the history of some changes in Planet Cray. Shin-san, is it okay to announce to them?"

"Sure." Shin agreed and they are all ready to explain everything about these changes.

"Okay. For those who are inside the shop. I reminded you to keep it secret about this story and don't tell anyone, everyone agrees?" Raku warned them and he felt that if the story will publicly knowledge there will be a possible downfall of the game.

And they all nodded.

"Okay. Here it goes. After the destruction of the Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze, the Messiah return its role and restore the divinities. The Messiah foretold the despair to come and left upon the Wandering Star Brandt and Messiah's epitaph. Also the greatest enemy of the Planet Cray, the Void will come soon." Raku began.

Kamui and Chrono twitch their finger about the two unfolding events.

"With that Void began its movement, the source of all deities, the will-less divinity stopped to protect it from the Void. The Power of Destiny dissipates and the contents of the sacred book known as the 'Akashic Book' are blank. And the era without divine blessings is begun. There are some changes within the nations as the Deity-less era began.

In United Sanctuary, Keter Engine served as a foundation for the prosperity of the nation. The chain of events of unending civil war, disasters, plagues, and much turmoil came to them causing the inhabitants of the Cray, to war against each other and its splits, resulting in the land being barred and the surviving members building a floating island known as Ketegaria powered by Keter Engine and with that the Keter Sanctuary had been established. Separated from two factions: Residents from the land and Residents from Ketegaria happened that how it is shaped." Raku explained.

Kazuma, Taiyou, and Kumi look for their decks and he pulls the Avatar.

'Poor Gurguit! I hope that you are fine and the Gold Paladin in the godless timeline.' Taiyou felt hopeless about what happened to the unit that he loved in the deity-less era.

'Luard, I felt sympathy about what happened in your clan. I will miss you too.' Kazuma felt the same about this.

'Florentine, I'm so sad about what happened to you. I wished your safety and your fellow Battle Sisters.' Kumi too.

"The Dragon Empire is the only nation that changes its name after three thousand years and became the most powerful nation on the Planet Cray. The shrine maidens continue to pray since ancient times and when the girls pray, their prayers go through, and the sleeping egg will hatch in the future.

The Star Gate nation turned to Brandt Gate, of course, in honor of Wandering Starhulk Ruler, Brandt." Raku explained

"Wait, you mean that..." Kamui reminds me something about that unit. About the Link Jokers including Brandt.

"Is something bothering you about that name?" Chrono asked and Kumi, Taiyou, and Kazuma look at him.

"Yes. I know that unit. Back then, when I was a middle school, my brother Aichi, and my companions fought the Link Joker Reverse units and the Reversed Fighters, I was one of them but I was freed." Kamui told them about it.

"The Star Gate clans: Nova Grappler, Dimensional Police, and Link Joker agree about the Messiah's epitaph and work together as the Brandt Gate was established. A scientific nation guarding the Planet Cray against the threats on the other worlds at its borders due to Messiah's warnings, which is the return of the Void, the citizens prepared to defend themselves for this.

The Dark Zone also decrease magical power, each of the clans in the Dark Zone lost their powers and this nation was divided into a much smaller nation. The Gear Chronicle clan severed off from the dimensions and impossible for them to traverse time to the past and future as well as the Zodiac Time Beast so they fell into slumber and entrust the power to a lone hero." Raku continued.

Chrono was shocked about this and he take a good look at his Gear Chronicle deck he felt sad about their loss of power.

'Poor Dran!' Chrono closed his eyes and it pains him to lose his precious friend and unit at that time.

"The same hero who founded the Dragon Empire, then the Dark Zone became Dark States, and continues to cooperate with the Dragon Empire and they enter into an age of prosperity

The next one is the Zoo, sadly the Neo Nectar clan lost its divine blessing and Food production was drop due to this, they can no longer sustain their everyday lives, the Great Nature clan was also fell and the Zoo divided into many small nations. Nevertheless, the others spend their lives pursuing knowledge, until the Sage named Stoicheia arrived in that timeline. Sage Stoicheia create an intelligent treasure called 'Wise Cube' that measures the divine blessings throughout the Planet Cray. Years later, the Sage Stoicheia dies, and those who followed their teachings including the Zoo and Magallanica gather under the Wise Cube the two nations were unified and the Stoicheia nation was organized and entered into the age of prospering."

"I see so that is why the Zoo and Magallanica had been merged," Shin said.

"But the worst is, the units from the past are now gone forever in that time, but most of them, survive." Raku said.

They shocked about the revelation that their units that they had was really gone. Most of them are sad including Chrono, Kazuma, Taiyou, Kumi, and Kamui, they will never see them again.

"Next...After the long-time deity-less era. A new era came as the maidens reach their prayers from the earth and egg hatched revealing Chakrabarthi Divine Dragon, and the Chakrabarthi Divine Era was established." Raku ended.

"That was just a great story," Kazuma amazed.

"Wow!" Chrono was amazed.

The people began to be amazed about the changes Planet Cray had in that timeline and they clap silently.

"Guys. Can please be silent now, it's over." And they quiet.

"How about the pink land in Cray and the damage at the center of the Dragon Empire?" Kamui asked.

"Actually this responsible for damage in the land is none other than Gyze as he fell. And the pink one is the sixth nation: The Lyrical Monasterio, the Bermuda Triangle receives the teachings of Sage Stoicheia, and it was reborn as it now."

"Whoa! I hope that Saya-chan and Emi-chan will hear about this." Kanji reacted and he think about the two girls' reaction to this story.

"Okay, since your story is ended. Let's begin the Cardfight and be silent now." Then Shin announced.

Raku selected the Dragon Empire and then he select the gorge within the nation.

Chrono noticed the two icons on the screen at the Order Zone.

"What is this Order Zone, this place is for the G-Zone, and besides what is the Ride Deck beside the Deck zone?"

"I can answer that. The Ride Deck is to choose one of the unit cards for each of the Grades, not including Grade 4 such as G-Unit. And also there is a button to the side of the icon which changes the zones, even if it is either G-Zone or Order Zone. Oh, I almost forgot, the Order Cards act like items and abilities. But I will tell you later." Raku said.

Then they select their first Vanguard and put it to the respective Vanguard Circle face down. Raku select his Ride Deck then put it beside his Deck Zone they shuffled their decks and he put the deck zone and draw 5 cards.

Raku was feel missing his deck, then he pick two cards and put them at the bottom of his deck, draw the same number of cards then shuffle once more.

They seem strange about his redraw style.

"What's wrong." Raku wonders.

"Nothing. Let's begin." Chrono said.

"Stand Up! Vanguard!"

They landed in the same location with their imagination.

"Chrono Dran Z!"

"Surprise Egg!"

(Hand: 5)

"My first turn." Chrono declared, "Draw! Ride, Chronoethos Jackal! Moving Chrono Dran Z to the Rear Guard Circle." He moves behind his Vanguard.

Turn 2: Raku.
(Hand: 5)

"My turn!" Raku Declared, "Draw! Since I have Ride Deck, the only I can do is discard one card from the hand, and I ride Wall Equip Dragon, Bilskil!"

"Discarding one to call a card from his Ride Deck. That was intense." Kamui said.

"Yeah. This is the first time, I've ever seen it." Taiyou said.

"Activate Surprise Egg's ability via Draw one card since I'm the second turn." Raku draw a card.

(Hand: 6)

"Drawing one card from second turn ability, not Forerunner," Kazuma said.

"I attack!" Raku declared.

"No guard!" Chronic Declared.

"Ride! Chronoclaw Monkey! Call Chronobeat Buffalo and Pulsar Revolver Dracokid!" Chrono declared,

"I activate Dran's skill, by binding his face up, look at the top five cards on my deck, Chronojet Dragon Z to the hand." Then he shuffled his deck.

"Chronoclaw Monkey attack!"

"No guard!"

"Next, my Chronobeat Buffalo attacks with support from Revolver Dracokid!" Chrono declared.

"No guard! My damage check...Draw trigger!" Raku declared and he draw one card.

(Raku's Hand: 8)

Turn 4: Raku.
(Hand: 8)

Once again after he draws a card from the Draw Phase, then he discards one again.

"Ride! Blaze Maiden, Reiyu! I also call another Blazing Spear Dragon, Blaze Maiden Rino! Since you have no rear guard in your right column, I activate the skill of Blazing Spear and Counter Blast! Plus 10,000 Power to the Blazing Spear Dragon!" Raku declared.

"The attack power of Blazing Spear Dragon is now 20,000!" Taiyou said.

"With the boost from Rino, Blazing Spear Dragon from the Rear guard attacks."

"28,000 Power!" Kumi exclaimed.

"Stand and Draw! Ride Chronojet Dragon Z! Activating Skill of Chronobeat Buffalo at 2000 power."

"Let's do this, with support from Dran, Chronojet attacks."

"Stand and Draw!" Raku declared and he discard one card again, "I ride Chakrabarthi Divine Dragon, Nirvana!"

In Planet Cray,

Raku change his riding unit to Nirvana. and his four wings spread with fire and let out a wild roar at Chronojet Dragon.

Back from the real world.

"I activate Nirvana skills. I activate the skill of Reiyu, since I rode upon with Nirvana, I search Vairina into my deck and add it into my hand." Raku declared as he added Vairina in his hand and shuffle his deck.

"I call Blazing Maiden, Toresa! And Nirvana attacks your Vanguard."

Planet Cray

"Are you ready, guys!" Raku said in the English Language.

"Yeah!" They spoke the English language.

"Let's get this revolutionary party started!"

Then Raku forces began to run, along with his units.

Blazing Maiden Torena began to light her fist with fire and jump to the sky and dive into Chronojet with his fiery fist and it hits and makes a crater in his position. Then she jumps back.

(Chrono's Damage: 3/6)

"My Vanguard!" Revolver Drcokid exclaimed.

"Are you okay?" Charonbeat Buffalo asked.

"I'm fine." Chronojet stands up.

"Here comes the fiery booty." Nirvana began to form a fire in his mouth.

In real life.

"My twin drive check. First Check..." then the card revealed is a Front Trigger.

"What is this trigger?" Kumi asked with shock.

"Looks like it said Front Trigger. Wait, that means..." Kazuma understands this Trigger.

"Front Trigger activates, all of the units in the front row and receives 10,000 Power."

"Are you crazy?!" Chono exclaimed.

(Nirvana's Power: 13,000 Power + 10,000 Power = 23,000 Power)
(Blazing Spear Dragon Power:
10,000 Power + 10,000 Power = 20,000).

"Second Check. No trigger."

In Planet Cray.

Then Nirvana releases a fire breath to Chronojet and it hits.

In real life.

"My damage check! Draw Trigger! Power to the Vanguard!" Chrono performs a damage check and draws a card.

(Chrono's hand: 7)

"Next attack is Blazing Spear Dragon with the support from Rino." Raku declared.

On planet Cray,

Then the two will attack.

"Steam Tamer, Arka!" The girl with the tiger costume carrying a big stopwatch then stops with the attack as a shield appeared.

"Complete Guard?!" Raku asked.

"Turn over." Raku declared.

Turn 7: Chrono.
(Hand: 5).

"Let's make this thing serious, Raku. Liberating the Generation Zone! Generation Stride! Metapulsar, Avenir Phoenix!"

"Chronojet's Stride Skill, Soul Blast! Revolver Dracokid to the bottom of my deck. And I superior call Pulsar Tamer, Lugal-ure, I also call Chronoethos Jackal. Also, I activate Dran's ability into the Bind Zone, I discard one card from my hand and return Chrono Dran to my hand and I call him once again."

In Planet Cray.

"Let's do this." Chrono command.

"Yes sir." Then the Avenir Phoenix attacked Nirvana with his support from Dran.

"Triple Drive: First Check(None), Second Check(Critical)...Critical Trigger. Avenir Phoenix gets a critical trigger and Chronobeat Buffalo gets a power boost."

(Avenir Phoenix's Critical: 1 - 2)
(Chronobeat Buffalo's Power: 9,000 Power + 5,000 Power = 14,000 Power).

"Third Check(None/Grade 3/Zodiac Time Beast)! I also activate the Skill of Lugal-ure. Since I have Grade 3 Zodiac Time Beast on my third drive check. Soul Blast! Lugal-ure, from the bind zone and I call Pulsar, Metal Party Dragon."

"My Damage Check, First Card(None), second Check(Draw) Draw Trigger, power to the Vanguard."

"That's five damage," Taiyou said.

"If Chrono made another attack landed, he's gonna win," Kamui said.

"Next attack will go to Chronobeat Buffalo attack your Toresa with the boost from Revolver Dracokid."

In Planet Cray, Vairina starts to fly up in the sky to the sun which Chronojet was blinded along with his units.

Meanwhile at Vairina then he unleash his fist with fire and then the fire came out of nowhere and gather to Vairina's fiery fist then he ignite his jet boosters as he dive into Chronojet Dragon.

"It's time for the Cray's Revolution!" Raku said and then he punches Chronojet Dragon Z and make a huge shockwave that make Chronojet and his units blow up the shockwave reached the whole planet, which gives them fear.

Chrono's Damage points reach six, which means Raku is the winner.

"Thanks for the fight." Raku bowed.

"Oh. Me too thanks." Chrono bowed.

They are all amazed at their performance.

"What an excellent fight!" Shin replied.

Then Raku was smiled and confident.
