"I wasn't born into this world naturally, I was created in a lab, bred as some kind of weapon to hurt the innocent, so I never had a childhood, never had dreams of grandeur or some schoolgirl crush to gush over, but even I dream of what would happen if thing's stayed the way they were, if you hadn't saved me..would you of killed me?" asked a girl.

The girl was looking up at the clear star-filled night sky her hand raised in front of her as a speckle of moonlight slithered itself across her palm.

A light breeze caused her hair to wave slightly in the wind as it rustled the branches of a nearby tree.

Glancing back she spied a second individual, oddly clad in dark orange and black armor, despite the casual and one must admit, almost romantic aspect of the occasion, he looked as if he was ready for war.

The figure seemed to glance at her for a moment, before looking at her.

"Nope. I don't think I could ever bring myself to hurt you Alina" he replied.

The girl now identified as Alina looked down for a moment before muttering.

"But..I'm a monster, a demon, even an abomination to some, my life force is tied to spilling the blood of my enemies and taking their lives, how could I be anything by a monster to them?" she replied sadly.

She felt a hand gently rest on her shoulder and as she looked up she found the figure with his helmet off, a very rare occasion for the man as pretty hazel eyes looked into her dark, almost black eye's.

"Because I know you Alina, I know that even if you have, or would have killed those around you, it's not what you are, it's not what you want, you may be a demon, but you have the heart rather of a protector then a killer." he replied.

The girl tried to suppress her smile as she looked away just to see a shooting star streak past them, before vanishing into the void once more.
