After Ellie left the house I started to get a good look at my new family. The mother looked pretty, with her light brown hair braided and on her left shoulder it made her dark brown eyes stand out ,no makeup on her but some slight light pink lip gloss, her smile lit up the room it made me feel safe. The father looked like he was trying to impress us, he had brown hair with piercing dark brown eyes, he was wearing a brown suit with a gray tie, he had no facial hair and had a sparkle in his eye that made me full of wonder/curiosity. Finally the little boy, he had pitch black hair like his mother but dark brown eyes like his father, but he had a smirk on his face as he looked at us, this made me feel nervous. The mother looked at us then came up to shake our hands so she could introduce themselves, "Hello, I'm Hazel and this is my husband, Frank. Oh and this is my son, Nico (A/n: if u read Percy Jackson u know he is son of Hades and also I needed a name if u don't like it u can give me suggestions and I can edit the chapter)!" Hazel said enthusiastically. Frank came up and we'll asked one questions he probably knew the answer to, "So what are your names." Brandon who had been quiet the whole time spoke up, "They are Brandon and Lilly, sir." Frank looked surprised at the answer when Brandon called him sir. "There is no need to call me sir, please call me Frank or dad." Frank/dad said calmly. Then Nico came up to Brandon, he looked at him like he was just dropped off by a alien space ship looking for chocolate chip cookies. "Hey Brandon, isn't it? Well why do you look so nervous and worried we aren't gonna bite you." I was surprised and so was Hazel, she quickly gave Nico the death glare.

3 Hours Later.........

I started to warm up to my new family Hazel and Frank were nice and Nico (A/n: okay I just realized that all of the names I just picked were from Percy Jackson, I'm turning into a bigger FANGIRL by the minute) he was more talkative to Jack trying to get a good brother relation ship I think. Jack still was really quiet and I thought he would start to talk after like 1 hour or so but he was still extremely shy. I needed to talk to him, "Excuse me, but me and Brandon have to talk in private...its um, for a medical reason." I lied, I felt guilty but still took Brandon's hand, he flinched. Soon I dragged him to another room so we can have our talk. "Okay Brandon what's wrong each time you are touched you flinch ,please I want to know, you can trust me." Okay I think that wasn't the best thing to say it kinda adds pressure. "I don't want to talk about it," Brandon responded with tears in his eyes. "Brandon please I want to know why you looked scarred all the time and why you are distant from me." "Just leave me alone,Lilly😠!!" Brandon almost yelled I felt hurt. Then Brandon's face softened, he grabbed me and hugged me and tears slide down my cheeks. I cried silently on his shoulder as he rubbed my back, I wanted to know I needed to know. Why was he keeping secrets from me.... Why??
