Hey guys.

Quick A/N before the real chapter.

So I had one written and ready to be updated, but I came back into wattpad and everything was gone.

So I'm sorry this is late but that's because I had to re-write everything.

Another thing I wanted to include in this note.

Just a few things I want to clarify in case you're confused.

Because I've confused myself on a few things.

1. Astrid is 6 and a half months pregnant. So her belly is showing and Hiccup and everyone else are really protective

2. Ethan and Agnes do live on Berk

If there's anything else you're confused about go ahead and message me!

So with that said, let's get to the chapter!

"Let me go!" She screamed as she was dragged towards a cage by two large men, holding her by her arms and legs.

"Quit screaming." One of the men commanded. They then opened a large door and threw her inside, causing a thud to echo. I felt chains around my wrists and ankles, forcing me in this one spot.

"Get her in her room!" A man shouted. He was larger then the other two and by the tone in his voice, he was a leader.

"Uh what about him sir?" One of the silhouette's asked and nodded in my direction.

"Keep him. I want him to be the last thing the girl sees." The boss commanded and walked away. The two guards slammed her cell door shut and stood near it.

Hiccup's POV

I sat straight up in bed. I breathed heavily. I took deep breaths and got out of bed, then walked downstairs. Astrid was still asleep upstairs while Toothless was sitting downstairs.

"Well good morning." I said as he gave a quiet grumble. "You hungry bud?" he started jumping around me, giving me goofy grins and weird faces. I placed a basket of fish in front of him and he started eating.I was about to walk to the kitchen until someone walked in the door. 

"Morning Hiccup." Gobber said.

"Ugh Gobber ever heard of knocking?" I said sarcastically.

"Whoops. Sorry about that. But Bucket and Mulch need some help. They have to bring in fish and they want some help getting milk and eggs while they're gone."

"Alright when do I need to be there?"

"In about an hour. They have to get their boat ready." He replied.

"Okay, if anything else comes up while I'm gone just take care of it if you can." I said and he nodded then walked out.

"What was that all about?" Astrid asked as she walked down the stairs.

"Chiefly things milady." I replied and kissed her cheek. "How are you this morning?"

"Well for starters I'm hungry." She said and sat in a chair.

"I'm on breakfast duty."

"Can you make me eggs?" She asked. I turned my head and looked at her.

"You sure you don't want soup?" I teased. She gave me a playful grin. I smiled then walked into the kitchen and started making our breakfast.

"Hey babe do you know where Mer is?" (nickname for Mercy. there's also merc zo if i use either of those, i'm talking about Mercy.) 

"Last time I heard she was at the forge but that was yesterday morning." I walked out and placed our food on the table, then sat down.

"You think she's still there?" She asked. We both paused when there was a knock on the door. I stood up and pulled the door open to see Allysa standing there with Mercy asleep on Violet.

"I think this belongs to you." Allysa said and pointed to Mer. "I found her asleep in the forge."

"Thank you." I replied and grabbed her from the saddle.

"I didn't want her sleeping in the forge and I figured you two were asleep so I brought her back to my house for the night."

"Oh perfect thank you." Astrid spoke as she walked up behind me. Allysa smiled then walked down towards the square. I shut the door, placed Mer in her room, then came back down and resumed eating.

"What do you think the gang is doing today?" She questioned.

"Probably something stupid." I responded.

"They've already done that." She answered. "Multiple times." She added in a whisper.

"Then something crazy." I said, causing her to laugh. "I have to go down to Bucket and Mulch's farm for a little while so stay safe and if you go anywhere, remember to go with someone." I told and began walking to the stairs.

"I'm not completely defenceless you know." She retaliated.

"I know that. But I want you safe at all times." I stated then walked up the stairs. I got dressed then headed downstairs, kissed Astrid goodbye, then went outside to where Toothless was. "Ready to go bud?" I asked once I was in front of him. He gave me a little smile then we took off.

Mercy's POV

"Let me go!" I screamed as I was dragged towards a cage by two large men, holding me by my arms and legs. They forced me into what looked like a bedroom, made for a girl my age. "Where am I?" I asked as my voice trembled.

"It's your new home, Mercy." A man said. He was large and had a deep voice, but that's all I could get from him. His entire face was covered with a shadow.

"My home is Berk." I replied and stood up straight.

"Not anymore. You're my daughter now, and this is where you will stay."

I woke up with a scream and I bolted straight up. I stood up and shook it off, realizing it was just another nightmare. But it was a different dream this time. Usually they just consist of me just being thrown in cells and imprisoned. But this was like I was wanted for something else. To be a daughter. I need to tell dad.

"DAD!" I shouted and ran downstairs to see mom. "Oh mom thank gods ou're here!" I said and ran up, then engulfed her in a hug. She was taken back at first, but then wrapped her arms around me.

"What's wrong?" She asked with a soothing voice.

"I had the weirdest nightmare!"

"Well you've been getting those a lot since you were kidnapped, how was it different?"

"I was being held in what looked like a bedroom! The  guys said 'welcome to your new home, Mercy' and 'you're my daughter now'." I explained. Mom had a panicked look.

"We need to tell your father. He's at Bucket and Mulch's farm right now."

"Okay I'm borrowing Stormfly." I said and went towards the door.

"I'm coming with you."

"No. You stay. I don't want to put you in any danger." I stated then walked out and towards Stormfly. I got on her saddle and we flew off towards the hiils. It only took about 5 minutes to fly to the farm. Once I was there I landed Stormfly next to the chicken house and found dad by the yaks. Toothless noticed me and gave me a happy roar, making dad turn and look at me.

"Well I wasn't expecting you to be here." He said then turned to the yaks. "What brings you?" He asked asI pulled a stool over next to him.

"I need to tell you about a nightmare." I said with a sort of cryptic tone. He glanced over at me.

"Okay, you've had them for a while now though."

"This one was different."

"How?"

"The guy who was keeping me, put me in a bedroom and told me that it was my new home. He said I was his new daughter." He was now facing me.

"Did you see what this guy looked like?"

"All I saw was a shadow." He sighed.

"Okay, just stay near the village and where people can see you. Maybe stay and watch the dragon races, I know Gobber will be there for sure. Maybe you could even run them." He said.

"Me?" I asked. "Why?"

"Well I might be doing something else, I could use someone trustworthy up there." 

"I have absolutely no idea how to do that though."

"I'll teach you. Allysa told me they're racing tomorrow, so  I'll teach you then. Now get back to the village, and stay with your mother." He said and I stood up, then flew home with Stormfly.

Astrid's POV

"Do you think it says anything about the future?" Allysa asked.

"I don't know. I mean it's unlike any other dream she's had, but can dreams really do that?" I asked. "Can they really predict future?"

"Well not fully predict, but dreams have been said to hint at your future. But it could be anytime. They could hint at when you're old to the next day." She explained. I sighed and sat down at the table. She handed me a glass of water and sat down.

"Don't get worked up. Yes, it's scary, but being stressed about it will not help you." She said and gestured to my stomach.

"You're right. But someone has to keep an eye on her. Hiccup might be busy and I'm in no condition for fighting."

"The gang and I will do it!" SHe exclaimed happily. "We've been looking for something to do other then stupid stunts that almost got Snotlout killed." She added.

"I guess but you guys really have to keep an eye on her. She goes nowhere without someone with her. Or a dragon." 

"I get it I get it." She said as the door opened slightly.

"You guys done doing your girl talk?" Snotlout said as him and the gang walked through the door.

"Yes Sontlout we're done talking." Allysa said sarcastically.

"Is everything alright?" Fishlegs asked.

"Sort of. You guys have to watch Mercy for a while. Until we know the coast is clear." I said.

"Uh, what do you mean?" Tuffnut asked.

"Yeah. I mean she isn't in any danger." Ruffnut added.

"She could be." I said. They all stood straight and kept quiet, waiting for me to explain. "She had this dream where she was kidnapped, but was being forced to be somoene else's daughter." I added.

"So this dude from her dream wants Mercy to become his new daughter?" Snotlout asked.

"Precisely. Which is why we have to keep an eye on her." Allysa stated as Hiccup poked his head through the door.

"Am I interrupting something?" He asked.

"Not at all. Come inside this is your house too." I said and he walked in, then walked through the gang and stood next to me.

"Hiccup you know about this right?" Ruffnut asked.

"Of course she flew to the farm and told me. I told her to come back home so I stopped by to see if she was here." He said and looked around. "But I don't see her." He said and walked up the stairs. He came back down and looked at all of us."Has anyone seen her?"

"Uh no, last time I saw her was when I told her to go find you." I said. Everyone exchanged glances.

"Okay, everyone cover separate parts of the island. She's gotta be here somewhere."

Mercy's POV

I sat on a small boulder in the cove, looking at the still water. I kept thinking about my dream.

"It has to mean something right?" I said, even though there was no one here. I now paced around, my boots making the dirt slightly shift with every step I took. "Can dreams mean something?" I layed back in the grass and looked at the sky. It was blue at the top, but then faded into orange at the horizons, signaling it was sunset. I sighed and stood up. "Come on Stormfly it's getting late." I said and stood up. I looked around but didn't see anything. "Stormfly?" No response. "great. I guess i'm walking home." I said and began to walk over to the exit.

I walked through the thick trees that were slowly becoming swallowed in darkness. I had to get home fast so no one gets worried about where I am. I heard rustling in the bushes behind me. I pulled out a knife since my bow was with Stormfly and faced the bush. I walked away from it, but still faced it. There was movement at my side, then my other, and then beind me again. I began to feel trapped. I started to run in the direction of the village, but I was cut off by a large dragon in my path, covered with heavy metal armor. There was a large man riding it, but I couldn't see his face.

"This the girl?" A man asked, who was riding another armored dragon, but he was on my left.

"Yeah looks like it. We'll see once we get her in some light though. It's dark here." The man in front of me said. I backed away and began running back to the cove as fast as I could. "Hey!" I heard the man shout. I glanced back and saw them chasing me but I kept running. I slid down the rocks in the cove and ran across to the other exit, only to be blocked by a dragon. I turned and saw another, then one landed on my right. I was pinned against a cliff wall, surrounded by armed men.

Could this be it?

Hiccup's POV

I felw over the forest, looking for any sign of her. While I was looked, I found a broken tree, surrounded by dragon prints.

"Toothless, there." I said and pointed to the tree as we flew down. Once we landed I climbed off and inspected the prints. "Rumblehorn." I whispered. I looked around and saw a trail of them leading towards the cove. I followed it all the way to the rocks, where I saw three Rumblehorns making a triangle around something against the cliff wall. They suddenly backed up then took off into the night sky, but split apart. One went off towards the village while the other two went straight. I looked around then felt a hand cover my mouth and nose, and before I knew it, I was being dragged away.

But to where?

I feel like a horrible person for writing this.

So I hope you guys enjoyed again I'm sorry it's so late I had to re-write all of it and homework got in the way and some things at schoolo and yikes.
