Here are my entries for dorkiest_nerd graphic contest. Here's my late birthday present to you, Katie. Happy birthday :)

I don't know why I put this here of all places since virtually no one reads this book but I figured it'd be appropriate since it's an graphic portfolio.

Anyway, here we are. I decided to go with Stuck In My Head because I love that fic and Avenging Souls because PJO and using India Easley as a faceclaim can be so personal🥰

(AKA things that are personal to me😅)

There was supposed to include mood boards, but I got a late start on this since I just started college a few weeks ago and I had to deal with my mental health so I narrowed it down to a cover/gif banner for each.

The general idea for the Stuck in My Head cover came to me one night, as all good ideas do, when I was trying to fall asleep and I couldn't stop thinking about it (ironically) but it took me a while to actually sit down and make it. It came out bluer than I expected but I kind of like it so I kept it😅

(There isn't much of a difference between the two covers, I just changed the fonts and some of the effects are different sort of)

Avenging Souls' cover was the best I could do I think. I put a photo of Alexandria Daddario from when she played Annabeth in the PJO movies on top of India because I figured it'd fit "the vibe". I saw one of the covers had a blue portal so I also used inspiration from that to make it and the forest scene was random since I wasn't entirely sure what Camp Half-Blood would look like IRL (I mean, I know now cause the PJO tv teaser made it look amazing—)

Gif banners are more my speed. I'm still learning but I think they look good ^^

Didn't really have any forethought to them, just went with whatever felt good to do which is how I ended up with two banners whose colors look super different.

Moral of the story: I'm so glad I discovered psds, they make everything look so much better😂
