They ran across the yard, joy twinkling in their innocent eyes. Their mother and father sat in chairs on the porch, smiling at their children's happiness. They tackled each other to the moist grass while playing tag, being the wild, hyper children they were. They didn't know the things they will go through, the pain and sorrow that they will have to bear. They were naïve children, with hearts made of gold. They didn't need to go through with the excruciating curse.

They were only children.
