I got all dressed up in a dark purple dress and dark green flats and i let my blonde hair loose,the roots of my black hair were appearing but that didn't mattered me one bit meanwhile the magic show hasnt begun i decided to being my book that has Gotham's most haunted secrets...

Jerome was wearing a nice suit,a mask with a beard and a mustache and Barbara was dressed up all in pink and a white mask with it too.I was hidden by the side of the stage,waiting for Leslie to give her stupid speech.I looked up from my book and saw Bruce along with Alfred.Oh i miss Bruce so much.Mt eyes widen a bit when i saw Dick Grayson with Bruce and Selina Kyle.

"Good evening. I'm Dr. Lee Thompkins. For the past five years, I've had the honor of being a part of a children's hospital. Thank you for your support. And thank you so much for coming out tonight." I looked over to Jerome and gave him a thumbs up and whispered "Good luck".."Over the years, we've had magicians come and entertain our children.And so tonight we have one of the magicians here for you. Without further a do, please allow me too present to you...the great Rudolpho!"

I was now paying attention to the act and saw Barbara opening the door of a closet and Jerome wasnt there,she gasped giving  the audience a fake surprised look, closing the doors again, hearing the crowd laughing. She opened the doors again,revealing my Jerome, yawning making me clap along with the crowd.

"Greetings ladies and germs! I am indeed, the great Rudolpho! Please ogle my beautiful assistant..." I couldnt  help but continue reading this book once i read a familiar name "Galavan?" But why is his name all over the place wait.I flipped the pages and on the very last oages there was something written in red pen which I can assure wasnt written there before.

"For my first act... I will require a volunteer...Let me see... Duck duck duck, duck duck duck.. Goose!" He stopped pointing at Bruce. "Okay young man..." Bruce looked at the box, nervously getting in it once he arrived. "Does this.. handsome gentleman have a name?"

"Bruce." Jerome grinned, looking out at the crowd as well. "Bruce! Well Bruce...this won't hurt a bit." He slapped the blades together. "Is there a doctor in the house?" "Wait! Wait!" I looked out in the crowd, seeing Alfred move towards the stage, panic clearly on his face. Jerome suddenly stuck the blades through the slots, making the whole place gasp, including me. I closed my eyes for a slit second, then pulled the table apart seeing that Bruce was fine and moving. i sighed relieved that nothing else happened

"Give em a wave.." Bruce grinned, waving at everyone, looking very relived himself. "For my next illusion, I'd like to call too the stage.. deputy mayor.. Harrison Gain." "By the way.. nobody here.. is getting out alive.." Everyone just laughed, thinking its a joke.

Jerome suddenly threw the knife, sending it into Harrison Gain, making me clap in excitement, the crowd screaming slightly.mJerome grinned, a huge grin, beyond happy at the sight of the chaos. "Ta daaaa!!" Jerome raised his hands in the air dramatically smirking.Next was the spinning wheel and they Leslie was tied to it and they started filming everything.

"Enough!"I look and see Galavan 'confront' Jerome.I flip the pages and start to read what the page says.

Everything is going according to the plan.We kidnapped a few patients at the Arkham Asylum and are now learning how things are really suppose to be done.I Theo Galavan came to Gotham to rule this place and be their new god and no one will know whats coming.These fools won't know that im the boss in charge and nothing will change that.

"You need to pack up your pathetic little side show and leave."

"Is that right..?"

"It may be presumptuous to speak for all the citizens of Gotham. But we are sick of you!"

"You're a small, vicious man with a pathetic need for attention."

"I'm curious what your leverage is here. Mister....?"

"Theo Galavan."

"Well Mr. Theo Galavan, if you don't sit down, I'm going to shoot you."

"I know there is some human decency left in you."

"If you need to take a hostage, take me. But let these people go home... to their families."

"To their children."

"Well! I think it's time for tonight's first, official victim! You allll know and love.... poor rich boy, parents murdered in an alley and myyy favorite volunteer."

"Where is... Bruuuuce.... Wayne? Did you know I'm an orphan too Bruce?"

"I killed my parents though. Where are you hiding?! Bruce! Where are ya buddy?? Ohhh ! How about the butler?!"

"Okaaaay, last chance Bruce... but it's about to get very butler brainy out here.Bruuucie?"

The room was no covered with the GCPD and i continued reading.

First i'll have all of Gotham's most famous heroes and villains eliminated then.I found two special people who will do my bidding their names are Jerome and Hayley and they are my finest pawns.The act is tonight and what nobody knows is that i plan on being the hero which means killing one of them,Jerome Valeska. Bey you nevee saw this coming didnt you Hayley! 

I look up and shout Jerome's name "Jerome!! Galavan he'a going to kill you." Jerome looked at me with a surprised face and i started running towards him "I said enough!" My eyes widened and i start to cry.

"Jerome!!!" I screamed and Galavan only looked at Jerome as he slowly fell to the ground, smirking at him. "I know I know. This is not what we rehearsed...You finally found out Hayley but your too late." He smirks at me and I fall to my knees.

I looked behind me, seeing Barbara standing there with a sad look on her face as she looks at me too "Galavan you traitor!" I started punching him and broke his nose with still the tears filling my eyes."Jerome!! Noooo! Please please don't leave me please" I beg and sob as i lay my head again at his chest.

"Hayley." "Jerome please don't do this to me i never had the chance to say this to you but i love you Jerome,you changed me and i changed so i could stay with you." I look up and met his green eyes and i kissed him and ran my fingers through his ginger hair.  "I'm really sorry Jerome. You had real talent. But the plot thickens. Enter the hero." Galavan said interrupting me You said.. I was gonna be-" I saw the last of his tears run down his cheek and thats when i lost in started to sob like never before.

"Jerome.. Please.... Don't leave me alone i need you." He slowly ran his hand through my hair, his face slowly freezing. Then he stopped moving, his face frozen in a smile. My eyes widen and i started shaking his shoulders but he wouldn't budge.

"You son of a bitch!" I shout at Theo and Jim came over and saw my state Jim stopped, lowering his gun, looking down just staring at me not knowing what too say. I looked at Jim, my eyes blurry with tears before looking back down at Jerome, sobbing running my hands over his face and through his hair.

Jim sighed and did what i never thought he would do again which was hug me.I instantly started crying more onto his chest so I hugged him back. Everyone fool enough was saying how brave and heroic Theo is and how the villain deserved to die.Meanwhile we went back to the police station i saw people laughing while seeing the footage from when we took over the police station.Its obvious that after this im heading straight back to Arkham but I dont care anymore cause all that kept me living was my Jerome.

Now i really am alone in this dark cruel world people are right after all,The world is a filthy place and theres no changing it,maybe Jerome and I wouldve stayed together if this ended and he werent dead but now after listening to his words i realize that it was right....there's nothing more contagious than laughter.....

And done! I think im going to end this story right here :D But i have a lot more coming but i dont know i think i am going to end this here cause first i didn't wanted a happy ending considering how bad the Joker aka Jerome can be...but i dont know let me know in the comments if it should continue or not.....
