Although demigods were in no way weak, Hazel was surprised when an 8 year old managed to snap her bone in half. Letting out a yelp which quickly turned into a scream, Hazel openly gaped. Her eyes went wide, shocked at the sight of the bone under what seemed like a mere, thin layer of skin. Her leg was on fire, crooked and useless as the bone gave out.

The daughter of Demeter, having broken Hazel's leg, began to scream as well. The child's eyes were filled with tears as shrill screams escaped her lips. She propelled all the air she could as she waved her arms frantically. Screaming at the others and the gods for someone to help. The demigod's expression only on of pure terror as the group started to start around them.

Hazel winced as she looked at her leg again. Voices among voices spoke, several yelling for any Apollo kid they knew. She sat on her side painfully. Her leg was a mess of blood, split skin, and horrid pain.

The sword she had used to demonstrate a new technique to the Greeks laid to her side. Her helmet hugged the sides of her face. Her hair, that was rapidly changing color still, was pulled into the helmet. All she could focus on was pain. The pain racing up her calf and rising to her knee.

The arena was filled with chaos as several hands tried to feed her ambrosia. Her mouth, after it had let out a scream, closed shut. Tears sprung into her eyes, rolling down her cheeks. Tears stinging the back of her eyes as they fell. The hot tears burning almost painlessly,  but only compared to her leg. A hand touched her shoulder, but she refused to look anywhere but her leg. A sob surfaced as someone shoved a square of ambrosia in her mouth.

"Give her space!" A familiar voice called. Will appeared in her field of vision. She spat out the ambrosia and let the sticky square fall out of her mouth in chunks. Saliva flooded her mouth and fell down her cheek slowly. The burning in her leg felt like lava inside her bones. The skin had split and bone broke through. This wasn't good. The blood drenched her pants and stickied her skin. Her head was feeling lighter, but Hazel didn't know if it was from blood loss or the sight of her bone out in the open.

Ambrosia was, again, given to her. The familiar warmth of Will entered her personal space. A hand went to her waist and hoisted her up. Hazel protested, sobbing out before Will scooped the rest of her body out. Taking her in his arms bridal style, Hazel got a watery, blurred view of the son of Apollo.

Her leg brushed against Will's body, and Hazel screamed. Her entire leg felt like it was burnt to a crisp. Her veins shooting hot pain at ever touch. A terrible discomfort ran over her body as Will jogged with her in his arms.

His chest was warm and every step he took moved Hazel. She tried to hold back her screams. Opting to pressing her face in the crook of his neck. His neck and shirt collar being soaked with her tears by the time she got to the infirmary.

Hazel wished she would pass out already. Anything to have to no longer look at her leg. The bone had come right out of her skin and blood was everywhere. It made her feel nauseous.

Will quickly got her to a bed. Three people crowding around her, spitting information everywhere. Someone touched her knee and her ankle. Hazel bit her lip.

With a snap, her bone was out back into place. Hazel bit through her lip and her screams were barely muffled by her bloodied skin. Tears poured down the sides of her face. Her vision blurry as the pain made her brain fuzzy.

Someone pressed their hand over her forehead. Their thumb rubbing her temples as Hazel's back arched.

A string of curses was let out by one of the doctors. Hazel glanced at the ground. A sob bubbling up her throat as she saw a fist-sized opal gem. It's dark color blended softly with the dirt ground.

A splint was being put on her leg as the tripped doctor shook his foot. Hazel winced as the bandages were wrapped tight and Will let his hands hover over the injury. A golden light released most of her pain. The linger that was left still made her body tremble.

Hazel tried to ignore her pinky finger. It had been under her while her bone had been reset. She kept it behind her back. The pain was not as bad as it had been with her leg. When the doctors left the room, she looked over herself. Her grey hair was exposed to the light. It sparkled like dust.

She looked at her hands, they were shaking so badly that it looked as if they were having a seizure. Tears filled her eyes once again as she noticed her pinky finger and ring finger on her left hand was crooked. She could see both bones from underneath the skin.

She let out a shuttered sigh as she closed her eyes.

Her wish from the previous hour had been answered as she passed out on the cot.
