Once they got from the gate to the outer courtyard of the castle, all sigh for relief. Amelia looked around her. Everything didn't look the same as in the park. Everything looked like in the movie. They were now on the bridge that leads to the Beast's castle and behind them, the gate seemed to lead to the woods, but in reality, they knew where it was heading back to the park which was now covered by darkness. It seems that the gate not only prevented dark creatures from coming to the castle but also blocked the darkness itself and isolated it from the whole park to become a sanctuary. The perimeter of the castle was brighter than the entire park. Or, at least, natural brighter, because the sun was setting. Amelia wasn't sure whether there was a different timeline or she was unconscious for a long time in a cave. Anyhow, Amelia eased to see that not all was covered in darkness. She hoped that Moon would shine to comfort everyone in the middle of darkness.

"Well, now I know why they don't come here." The mouse girl, who helped them, said while walking along the edge of the bridge. All small animals walked along the edge of the bridge, while Amelia, Wilhelmina, little John, and Skippy walked along the bridge.

"Who are you by the way?" Sebastian asked.

"And how did you know that they can't stand the fire?" Dawson added.

"Elementary, good Doctor." The mouse girl started and turn around to look at them while walking backward. That phrase sounded familiar. "The fact that they put the whole park into the darkness can't be simply a mere intimidation and power indication. A clear reason why they did this is that these black creatures, which I call 'Shadow-shells' can't tolerate the light and warmth of a fire and the sun. When they first appeared, it was cloudy which covered the sun and gave them the opportunity to spread out and to scare people off when darkness spread around the park. Now they have the possibility to move and look for characters without getting burned." she stopped and looked at all of them, who were quite surprised by her description. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, My name is Elizabeth."

"Are you also 'Invented'?" Skippy asked.

"Yes."

In this, Olivia realized from which story she had been created and went to hug her happily.

"Are you from our story?" Olivia asked, looking at Elizabeth. Elizabeth smiled to a little mouse girl. You could say that she was a year or two older than her.

"Yes, I am," she said to her. Even Dawson came close to her. No wonder she sounded so like Basil. Actually, how did she know that he is a doctor and the way how she explained. Could it be ...

"Are you somehow related to Basil?" Dawson asked.

"I'm his niece," Elizabeth explained.

"Well, you have some in common," Dawson admitted.

"All right, How about if we continue the discussion inside. It begins to be dark, in a good way, that is." Elizabeth suggested. All agreed and continued their journey.

Upon the entrance of the castle, they knocked on the door and it opened, letting them all in. Amelia was quite confused and looked around. Everything was like in the animated movie, except that inside there were also other Disney characters. Most of them were side-characters. Like Aladdin's magic carpet and Abu, a few dogs from Lady and the Tramp and Oliver and company, some of the puppies on 101 dalmatians, cats from Aristocats and other characters. Most of all enchanted furniture, who were helping out other characters. Dogs at least seemed to get along with the enchanted footstool. Cogsworth was maneuvering other furniture to help others, Mrs. Potts and Chip offered warm drinks, while Lumiére kept all warm. The Beast's castle had become some sort of sanctuary.

Everyone was in their works before they saw Amelia and remained to stare at her, Wilhelmina and Elizabeth. Amelia looked at all of them feeling sorry for them all. They were all here, because of the Shadow-shells. Amelia began to fear, the fact that all the main characters have been kidnapped.

She walked to the stairs. On their end stood Jiminy Cricket. He too was amazed at the sight of Amelia. He jumped and landed with his umbrella at the lower end of the stairs.

"Unbelievable," Jiminy said. "A real human, here."

"She is not any human," Sebastian explained as he walked closer. "She has 'Invented ones'." He said, pointing to Wilhelmina and Elizabeth. All of them were even more amazed.

"We may still have hope ..." Jiminy said.

"What do you mean?" Amelia asked.

"We don't know all of it, but this we do know that behind all of this is someone who calls itself Dark Master." Jiminy began to explain. "We don't know who he is or where he came from, but he has added to his team every villain and captured each of the main characters in each story."

"Even Mickey and the others?" Amelia asked.

"I'm afraid I'm not sure, but... we fear the worst." Jiminy admitted.

Amelia gasped and sank to the floor. This can not be true.

"Let us help you," Wilhelmina said. This got everyone's attention. "We are not the main characters or side characters."

"We were 'Invented' from your stories." Elizabeth continued. "We were invented to support the main characters and learning different things from them." Everyone started to get up and listen to them.

"The villains may know their every movement, but they don't know ours." Wilhelmina continued.

"We can save them," Elizabeth said. The youngest characters were convinced of their words.

"It's true," Jiminy said. "You Invented ones have that advantage. They don't know anything about you. Are there more of you? "

"Ask her," Elizabeth said and pointed at Amelia. Amelia looked at all of them. Do you remember the first time when you were in front of the class and you felt how they all looked at you and you were afraid that you will do something stupid or embarrassing, what would make others laugh at you, Amelia had this same feeling, except instead of laugh she feared she would lower atmosphere and everyone would be depressed again.

Jiminy noticed Amelia been nervous to answer, so he thought to help a little, that she would calm down. "What is your name?" he asked her to get her attention.

"Amelia," she replied.

"Would you follow us?" Jiminy said and pointed up at the left-side staircase. Amelia looked up. If she remembered correctly those stairs lead to the west wing, where the Beast kept the enchanted rose. Amelia lowered her hand, So Jiminy could stand on them before she began to walk up the stairs. Wilhelmina and Elizabeth followed them along the little John, Dawson, and Lumiére. Olivia and Skippy stayed downstairs with others, who continued their daily activities.

Amelia was walking down the dark hallway to the tower on the west wing. The place didn't seem so scary as she remembered in the movie. Maybe that's because it was showed when Belle was not yet sure of the place and before she began to care the Beast. Yeah, it's probably because of that. The place now felt as if she was walked in her own home at the night time, except she didn't hear snoring.

Once they arrived in front of large doors, Jiminy Cricket jumped out of Amelia's hands on her shoulder, so that she would be able to open the doors. After opening the doors Amelia walked in quietly. Just like the corridor, the room didn't seem scary. The place was clean and quiet. The only light came from the outside from the balcony, where the moon shining in the sky, directly inside. Near the balcony was a table which was the glass cabinet and inside it was the enchanted rose.

Amelia walked closer to the rose while keeping her hands together. She didn't want to push the table, let alone case, which could affect the rose, like in the movie.

"Don't worry, mademoiselle." Lumiére said and jumped on the table. "Ever since the darkness fell upon, this place has remained protected from the influence of darkness and preventing Shadow-shells from coming here, Thanks to the rose."

"So, it won't wither then?" Amelia asked.

"At least not yet," Jiminy said and landed also on the table and walked to the rose. "It seems like this glass cabinet was also modified." Amelia came closer to look at in more detail. Glass case was different from the movie. It now had four corners, and they seem to be missing something.

"Do they have any meaning?" Amelia asked.

"We are not quite sure, but maybe they have something to do with four theme parks of Disney World."

"The Magic Kingdom is not the only one," Elizabeth said as she came on the table and walked into the glass case. "They're going to take over all the Disney theme parks."

"Do you know how their situation?" Wilhelmina asked.

"Some of it. We have followed them through the magic mirror. "Lumiére said, pointing to a hand mirror. "Many have come here from other parks to reach the shelter."

"What about the others?" Amelia asked.

"Either hiding Or kidnapped. "Little John told. "Skippy and I just came from the Animal Kingdom."

"Is darkness there too?" Wilhelmina asked.

"It is, but, unlike here, it is still growing."

"But they will try," Elizabeth said. "They started from the Magic Kingdom because it was the very first park, where it all began. Now that most of the park is under their power, other parks will be easy to catch them."

"You sound so like Basil," Dawson said.

"Well, I was invented to be his niece," Elizabeth admitted.

"Interesting," Jiminy said. "So you do have some abilities from the main characters."

"When I invented them, I mostly invented me in a suitable role in those stories. Like Wilhelmina comes from the original story Will Scarlet. "Amelia admitted.

"Well, she sure is Scarlet." Little John joked.

"Ha-ha, very funny," Wilhelmina replied.

"Do you have others?" Jiminy asked.

"Yes, but over time I have changed or have forgotten them," Amelia admitted.

"It's all right," Jiminy said. "The most important thing is that you have the ability to imagine them."

Just then, the goat rack came in, bringing the book and handed it to Amelia. The book had no title. Amelia opened it and saw that it was empty. Then Jiminy handed her a quill pen.

"Try," he said.

Amelia was not sure what's going to happen, others, however, seem to know, so she took the quill, before looking a blank sheet of paper and sighed deeply. What should she do? Write? Draw? Well, she is not so bad to draw. At school, she used to draw, before the teacher's come to the classroom and during the breaks. Also, other kids sometimes stayed to watch her drawings.

Amelia now tried to think about what to draw. Perhaps something which is still in her memory. She thought for a long time before the quill began to touch the surface of the paper. While drawing, near her began to emerge the small bright spots, just like fireflies that light up in the middle of the dark. While drawing more these light spots brightened and grew until they became one big glowing ball, in which inside began to take shape of a small creature. While adding the details on the drawing, the figure began to appear in details in the light. It looked like a Fennec Fox, who had special green marks on its shoulders and head. But before Amelia stopped drawing the light was fading off and the small fox stood on the floor. Everyone looked at the small fox.

"Awwww!" Wilhelmina said with admiration.

"It's quite little." Little John said.

"Amazing," Jiminy admitted.

Small fox looked frightened and backed off a little bit. Knowing her own character, Amelia walked peacefully towards it and took it gently into her arms and started stroking it. Small fox calmed down and looked at the others.

"I made her a bit of shy. But she knows how to be brave for friends. "Amelia said.

"Which story she is?" Dawson asked.

"Lion King. Her name is Kilera. "

"Well, that explains a lot. That species is common in Africa. " Jiminy said. "Is there more?"

"Yes, but I'm not quite sure about them. The last time I invented them, I was young and I had perhaps too much imagination."

"It is okay. You can think in your own time until you're ready. " Jiminy said.

"But what about the Shadow-shells and ...?"

"As long as the rose is alive we're safe." Jiminy pointed out.

"And once we have found a way to defeat them, you can get back to your own world," Dawson said.

"Can I?" Amelia asked.

"Only if we manage to defeat the Dark Master and the Shadow-shells. If we don't, we don't have any more Disney magic that could do it. " Jiminy said.

Amelia looked at all those who were in the room. If she is ever able to return to her world, they have to defeat the Dark Master and the Shadow-shells. Otherwise, all the Disney stories are forgotten and the children no longer believe in dreams and the world would be much gloom and cruel. Amelia looked at her characters, who were willing to help. Even a small Kilera, who looked at her with confidence.

"I'll do my best," she said. Jiminy Cricket nodded, accepting her answer.

"We all will," Wilhelmina explained. This made them smile.

Here begin Amelia's Disney adventure.
