The Doctor's P.O.V

We stopped at where the sand stopped and the grass started, I turned my gaze and looked at Shadow besides me. She was absolutely stunning, how her auburn locks flowed gently on the breeze in soft wrinkles framing her smooth perfect face, those eyes were the one feature that captivated me the most. They were a deep midnight blue 'just like the TARDIS' I thought. My thoughts broke when I heard her melodic voice.

    "It's...it's beautiful" she whispered in awe and completely transfixed on what was in front of her, which I was thankful for because I couldn't stop myself from staring at her "just like you" I didn't realise what I said until it was too late hopefully she didn't hear me, but it was short lived when she turned her face towards me.
   

    "Did you say something?"

    "Uh um nothing I said nothing I-I was just saying that this is where the trace leads" 'well done Doctor' I thought as I scratched my neck awkwardly, Amy noticed this because she asked what we were going to do next 'bless you Pond' however she gave me a knowing look which meant that she was going to be having a word with me later and I can tell you I wasn't looking forward to it. I was finding this increasingly awkward "Oh Pond you should know by now" turning to her changing the direction of conversation "I never plan that far ahead" I bounded off once more leaving others to follow.

    I came a skidding stand still when I felt something in my pocket I took it out and realised that my sonic was bleeping like mad! "What's gotten into you?" Murmuring to myself while I was repeatedly bashing it into my hand trying to make some sense out of it, but it wasn't working there must be some strong activity around here somewhere, but the sonic was having trouble  detecting the exact spot. I turned around to see Amy and Rory hunched over trying to catch their breath. Looks like someone needs to go to the gym more often.

    "Please- can you stop- doing that" Rory managed to get out before collapsing on the floor, exhausted.

    "Doing what?" I asked with a smirk he just rolled his eyes as he was helped up by Amy.

    "Er Doctor-"

    "Not now Pond"

    "Doctor-"

    "I said I'm busy I just Need to pinpoint the exact whereabouts-"

    "DOCTOR!" Amy screamed as she took hold of my shoulders and spun me around to face her.

    "Shadow's not here" at the moment she said that there was an ear piercing scream. We all looked at each other.

    "SHADOW!" we screamed, immediately running in the direction where the scream came from.

'Don't worry Shadow we are coming for you, I am coming for you. I'm not going to lose another one.'
