So I was struggling with colors, and I reluctantly and lazily tried to study how to use Color Theory for the past days. I had a lot of attempts, four exactly, and even the finish product does not satisfy me, I wonder why? But anyways, I'll show you some progress with my coloring.

1st Attempt

I like the color pink. Don't judge. The colors altogether seems dull so I duplicate the original and tried again.

2nd Attempt

Just like the first picture, it's too dull. The skin tone looks pale in comparison to what I wanted to put out but I struggle in picking the right shade, which made her look sick. I duplicate another one and tried again.

3rd Attempt

I like this better than the two previous ones however I don't like the part where I can't find the right skin tone for her. I tried to make it tan however it doesn't fit right with the saturated pink on her hair. I tried lighter skin tone however she looks pale and sick so I had no choice but to reimagine her as an alien-being-who-looks-like-human but-with-paper-white-skin. I tried again and duplicate another.

4th Attempt

I tried watching some tutorials before I started with this one. It seems like I was coloring at the wrong layers 👀 guess the 3 drawings were a failure in the process. So tada! It's not complete trash. 😅 I even added a lazy background and yeah I'm still not satisfied even with this results.

I like her skin tone better than my second attempt for obvious reasons. It looks like I'm getting the hand of it. What do you guys think? 👉👈
