Summer's POV:
It's been two weeks since Ethan's death. Justin has been at my home; my parents are more than welcome to let him stay because of his mother. Ivy won't go back to her house since her parents don't care about her and her boyfriend died in that house. I grabbed my phone and texted the group chat everyone was in.

Me: hey

Javier: what's going on?

Kit: is Justin doing ok?

Nova: we should all meet up. I can't stand being apart

Klaus: has anyone been sleeping?

Ivy: no

Me: why don't we all meet at the coffee shop? We can talk there. Since our parents are nuts and don't really want to hear what we have to say. Plus, we all need some coffee

Klaus: sounds good. Nova I'll pick you up

Justin: does anyone else need a ride? Summer and I will pick you up

Kit: I'll drive Javier

Me: Ivy's still with Justin and I, so she'll ride with us. Is Kyra still in this chat?

Kyra: yes I'm here. I'll drive myself

Me: just wondering. Because we should all be together. We need to put aside our differences

Klaus: fuck that. No offense Summer but I have no pleasure in doing that. Sorry

Me: well I tried. I'll see you all later

I shut my phone off and sighed. Justin sat next to me and he said "what's wrong?" "Have you had any nightmares? At all?" I asked. He shrugged and said "mild ones." I nodded and stood up. I grabbed some leggings and pulled them on with a long shirt. "I don't feel like driving. Can you drive?" I asked Justin. He nodded and Ivy came out of the house. She looked like she normally would if she was going out with Ethan or the group. We drove to the small coffee shop that attracted so many people. I sat a large table and Justin sat next to me. Ivy didn't take off her sunglasses and scrolled through her phone. Kit and Javier were the first to arrive. They sat down at our table and Javier said "did you guys order yet?" "I'm getting ready too." I replied. He nodded and we all ordered something. I got a mocha cappuccino. Since I needed something to be awake. Nova and Klaus walked in. They ordered some coffee and Klaus huffed. "I've been sleeping a little bit better. Is that bad?" Klaus admitted; afraid to hear the answer. Kit shook his head and said "I haven't had any nightmares. Since the group session." Javier nodded and Ivy said "don't act like you can't talk about Ethan. Nobody says his name anymore and it's infuriating. He'd want us to not forget about him." "We're not. It's just still a sensitive subject." Justin replied. Ivy took off her sunglasses and said "it'll always be sensitive. No matter what." Klaus noticed how unhappy she was and Nova said "it'll get better." Ivy took a deep breath and said "thanks Nova." Kyra walked in. Looking different since she was pregnant. Klaus stared at her bump and she sat down next to him. He scoffed and she said "fuck you." "No negativity." I reminded. Klaus smirked and pulled his coffee cup to his lips. Nova said "we all need to remain close. Because if we don't. He'll destroy us." Justin nodded and looked at the boy who came into the coffee shop. "Who's he?" Justin asked. The boy had blonde hair and a nose piercing. He looked over and quickly sat at a table at the other end of the shop. "I think he just moved here. Since we got that new sheriff. He's the sheriff's son." Kyra said. Justin nodded and didn't bring it up again. The blonde haired boy looked different. Like he belonged somewhere else.

He obviously didn't have any friends and Justin said "if anyone has anymore dreams....we do another session. Immediately." Javier gulped and said "it's so scary. It's terrifying." Kit rubbed his bad reassuringly and Justin said "we have too. I know it's scary but we have too. We have to beat him." Klaus nodded and said "I agree. Let's get rid of the fucker." Kyra sighed and said "we need to get rid of him quickly. He'll just pick us off and move on to the next batch of kids." "He won't. Because we're going to stop him." I replied. Kyra looked down at her stomach and said "he'll kill me and the baby." Another scoff came from Klaus. Kyra narrowed her eyes at him and he said "seriously? You only care about yourself. As usual."

Kyra said "Klaus you're by brother. My twin. I care about you so much. I know I've been mean the last year..." "You've been a fucking bitch." Klaus interrupted her. "I love you Klaus. You're all I have. Ok. And this baby. So please....don't treat me like this. What can I do to make you even want to talk to me? Or be in the same room as me?" Klaus licked his lips and said "I don't know maybe stop making everything about you. Don't look at me like I'm a fuck up. You always get your way. No matter what. Especially when we were kids. You got anything you wanted, whenever you wanted it. I've always held that against you. But you always seem to make things that are fun, turn to shit. We were all at the beach. Harry, Ethan, all of us. Except Genesis." Ivy shuddered at Ethan's name and Klaus said "you got pissed cause I cut my hand. On a rock. And you know what...Harry swam out there too. And you didn't get mad at him. Only me. You called me an idiot. All I was trying to do was have a good time. If I would've heard Summer and Nova telling me not to climb on the rock. I wouldn't of, because now I have this." He said as he raised his hand. A scar laid on the palm of his hand. Nova frowned at her boyfriend's hand and Kyra said "Klaus...." "You like to ruin things. Especially bonds people have. You and I had one. At least I thought we did. Don't fuck up anything else. Because there's not many of us left." He said. Ivy slapped Klaus at that comment.

He looked at her in shock and she began to sob. "Ivy I'm sorry." He said. I hugged her and said "he didn't mean anything rude. It's ok." "Klaus I'm sorry." She said, her voice muffled in my chest. "It's fine." He said as he stood up and ran his fingers through his hair. Nova sighed and Kyra said "I'm leaving. This was a stupid idea Summer." "Fucking leave her alone." Justin said. Klaus turned around and said "stop. All summer has tried to do is help. So don't fucking treat her how you treat me." Klaus eyed his sister before saying "Nova come on."She stood up and he pulled her out of the coffee shop. Kit and Javier stood up and Kit said "I'll see you Summer." I nodded and Justin said "fucking a." "Let's go make sure he doesn't destroy anything." I said. Justin nodded and Ivy said "I didn't mean too. I barely touched him."

"It's ok. Let's just go." I said. Ivy nodded and sniffled. The three of us stood up, leaving Kyra alone at the table. Our friendship was breaking. Nobody could function right anymore. It was over. We weren't the close tight knit friends you talked about. We were the friends that hated each other and fought all the time. Personally all I wanted was to be normal again.
