Ivy's POV:
Sleep. That's all I wanted. Was it too much to ask for? I had managed to fall asleep the other night, and I realized I could do something. I can lucid dream. Which means I understand that it all a dream and I can control what happens. But what happened tonight was something I couldn't control. Dreaming was something I didn't understand much of before this Freddy stuff. I was surrounded by ice. The frozen lake. Tears fell from my eyes and I looked around. The ice would crack under my feet and I could die. That would work since I could control my dreams. This was my way out. I'd drown and that'd be it. I faced the trees in front of me. "Ivy!" A voice I hadn't heard in over two weeks said. I turned around to be met with Ethan. That made me cry. I sobbed and then fell through the ice.

"Ivy no!" He screamed. I felt the ice cold water stab at my skin, turning it into jello. I couldn't move. I stared up at the ice that was over me. The current pulled me farther down and I accepted what was going to happen. I would drown here. And that's ok. Wasn't a bad idea. I would go and then Freddy couldn't hurt me anymore. I'd be safe.

Third person POV:
Ethan ran over to where Ivy had fallen in, noticing that the current was just going to pull her down farther. He stopped where she was and began to punch the ice, his knuckles and hand bleeding profusely.

"Ivy!" He said as he managed to get the ice opened up. She was unconscious. He pulled her out and laid her on the ice. Ethan panted and said "Ivy don't go." He put his ear to her mouth and she wasn't breathing. There's no she could be. He held her nose and breathed air into her lungs. She didn't move. He pumped her chest and blew air into her lungs again, making her spit water everywhere.

Ivy coughed and gasped for air. "Ethan....." She said. He looked down at her and scooped her up. She buried her face into his chest and he began carrying her across the ice. She fell unconscious again as he carried her off the lake that was frozen.

This was a dream so she made the lake freeze. Ivy was learning how to control her dreams. Much faster than the rest of her friends. Ethan panted as he made his way across the lake. When he reached land he said "Ivy? I need you to wake up for a second ok?" Ivy's eyes shot open and they were inside her house. Ethan looked around and said "how'd you do that?" "My powers." She said.

Ivy's POV:
Ethan looked at me and said "powers? You can control your dreams?" "How'd you know?" I asked him. Ethan said "you learn some stuff when you're trapped in the dream world and can't move on." My eyes watered and I said "oh my god. You've been trapped here? Could I have come to see you at anytime?" Ethan shrugged and said "he wouldn't of let you. It's only a matter of time before he finds out you know what you're doing. And if he knows I'm here. I'll be in big trouble." I furrowed my eyebrows and said "how?" "He keeps us locked up. I escaped. He's looking for me but he's been focused on you guys. Which means I've had a advantage to get away. He's planning on killing a female next. That's all I know." Ethan said. "It's probably me." I said. He cupped my cheeks and said "I won't let him get you ok?" "How? You're dead. And I let him get to you. It's my fault you died. I left you alone. Why would I do that? Explain that to me? And explain how my parents don't care what I'm going through." I said to him. Ethan kissed my lips and I melted into his touch. His lips moved against mine passionately. He pulled away and said "Ivy.....it's my fault I died ok? I fell asleep. And when I did.....Freddy tricked me. He made me think he was going to kill my dad. So when I got to my house in the dream world; my dad was there. He was alive but I tried to tell him he was going to die and Freddy was in the form of my dad. I couldn't run since he locked the doors and turned the floor into goop. I tried to fight him, but he used that against me. Slicing my whole body open, from my neck all the way to my lower abdomen. What did it look like in reality?" I said "your body was inside my bed. There was a hole. You had fallen in. And your blood was coming out of it. I opened the door and saw your blood dripping from the ceiling. I didn't know what to do. But I knew you were gone. And what could I have done? Your body was unrecognizable." Ethan said "I was still alive as my blood dripped out of my body. I know that cause I heard you screaming. Which made Freddy so happy. And he ended up making it worse. He kept me alive up until my dad came and saw my body. I had to listen to the both of you sobbing and screaming over me." I whimpered and said "no. There's no way." He nodded and said "would I lie to you?" I shook my head and said "I don't want to talk about this stuff anymore. It hurts too much." "How's Klaus?" He asked me. I half smiled and said "he's doing ok. Kyra and him are through. There's no helping them. They fight constantly. And we have a new friend. His name is Alex. He just moved here." Ethan nodded and said "and Kit and Javier?" "They've been paranoid since your death. Haven't seen them much." I replied. Ethan said "it's so good to see you. I didn't think I'd see you again." I chuckled and said "same here. You don't know what it's like without you." Ethan shrugged and said "at least you're alive." "I'm sorry." I said. Ethan kissed my cheek and I smiled really big. He did the same and my heart fluttered. I haven't been this happy in so long.

I wish I could stay in this moment forever. This was literally something I've wanted for so long. Just to see his smile again was something I couldn't have in reality.

But reality woke me up. I woke up in my home. On the couch since I won't sleep in my room. I shuddered and tears left my eyes. I was actually with my Ethan. The love of my life. The only way I could lucid dream was if I wasn't with my parents. Under the stress. So I'd have to get rid of the house he died in.
