Before this chapter begins I'm writing it in a third person POV. And the pictures of the bubbles in this chapter are MINE. Do NOT steal. Most of this book pertains to the original movie. I don't really care for the remake. I didn't hate it but I'm not going to be using much of it. So if you haven't seen the original. It's on Netflix.

Summer didn't sleep long. She woke up an hour later, a nightmare fresh in her mind. Her parents still hadn't returned from work. She decided to take a bath and Justin texted her, telling her he was coming over. She left him a key by the backdoor and began to take her bath. She got in the steaming hot water and watched the bubbles form.

She had a wet rag and washed her face with it gently. She began singing Freddy's nursery rhyme, the song buried into her mind. The rag began to slip out of her hands as her eyelids fluttered closed. Freddy's claw rose out of the soap covered water and reached for her, desperately wanting to slice her open. But before he had the chance Justin knocked on the door. Making Freddy disappear.

"What Justin?" Summer said irately. Justin said "hey don't fall asleep in there ok? You can drown." Summer rolled her eyes and she heard his footsteps depart. Her eyes began to flutter close once again and her chest rose and fell slowly. The warm water calmed her body, sending it into sleep. This was Freddy's chance. All of a sudden Summer was dragged underwater. A yelp left her mouth as she was pulled under.

Summer looked around underwater and could see the claw. She managed to kick him in the face and swim to the surface. "Help!" She screamed as she got drug under. Freddy laughed as he succeeded in pulling her back under once again. Justin looked up from his phone and said "Summer?" Another scream erupted from the bathroom. Justin jumped up and ran to the bathroom door. Which was locked. "Summer?!" He asked. Her arms flailed above the water and Justin quickly grabbed a nail and began to unlock the lock. "Hold on Summer!" He said through the door. Summer wiped her face as she clung to the bathtub and panted. "Justin!" She screamed. As Justin unlocked the door she climbed out of the tub. She wrapped herself up in a towel and Justin barged in. "Summer? Are you ok?" He asked. Summer sat on the floor, towel wrapped around her body. "He tried to get me. He tried to get me in my own bathtub. Genesis was right. And none of us listened to her. None of us. We just let her die." Summer said. Justin stared at her and said "he's not real baby." "Are you sure? Because I felt him drag me under. He was laughing. His ugly terrifying laugh." Summer replied. Justin knelt down and she had tears going down her face. "He's going to kill us all." She said. Justin grabbed her and hugged her. She sobbed into his chest and he held the sopping wet girl in his arms. "You gotta get dressed ok? I'll deal with the bathtub." He said. She nodded against his chest and he pulled her to her feet. She walked out of the bathroom and Justin stared at the tub. He closed the door behind him. He would never admit that he hadn't been sleeping, that Freddy haunted him in his dreams too. He lifted his shirt sleeve and went to stick his hand in the water when Freddy's claw came out. He gasped and it lunged at him. He fell down onto the floor and Freddy's laughter echoed in the bathroom. Justin's eyes widened and tears formed in his eyes. Freddy quickly disappeared and Justin stuck his hand in the water. He pushed on the drain and the water began to flow out. But not before Freddy grabbed his wrist. Justin gasped and Freddy said "Justin. I'm real." His voice echoed in the bathroom and Justin said "no. You're not." Freddy came out of the water and grabbed Justin by his chin. "How about now?" Freddy asked. Justin closed his eyes and Freddy gently dragged one of his knives against Justin's cheek. "Justin?" Summer asked. Freddy disappeared once again and Justin moved away from the bathtub. He looked in the mirror and saw a small scratch across his cheek. He quickly rinsed it and said "I'm coming Summer." He walked into her room. Her hair was slightly wet and she had on shorts and a t-shirt. Justin tried to look like he just hadn't been scared. "Justin?" Summer asked. He stared at the ground and didn't say anything. She finished rubbing lotion on her legs and stood up. "What's wrong?" She said. Justin shook his head and covered his mouth. Tears spilled from his eyes and Summer gasped softly. She immediately hugged him and he buried his face into the crook of her neck.

"What is it?" Summer asked. Justin didn't reply. His face was buried into her curly hair that smelled of coconut. Her cashmere lotion made him squeeze her and she said "Justin talk to me." He pulled away from her and closed her bedroom door. "I saw him. That freak." He said. Summer said "you saw Freddy?" "When I went to let the water out of the tub." He replied. Summer's eyes widened and he nodded. She led him to her bed and he sniffled. She grabbed tissue and wiped his tears. His blue eyes were filled with sadness. She had never seen Justin this way. "Wanna stay here tonight?" She asked. He nodded and leaned his head on her shoulder. She kissed his head and sighed. Justin's arms found their way around her waist and he said "you smell good." Summer chuckled softly and said "thank you." Justin knew the truth. Genesis was killed in her dream. Everyone knew deep down she had to have been killed in her dream. Nobody could have inflicted the wounds on her body. The thing was that if they told an adult, nobody would believe them. Would they?

Here's the update! I had fun writing this chapter! Hope you guys like it!!
