There's a day before summer. Only a day. No more finals and no more teachers. Everyone had been looking forward to the large party that was being thrown after the last day of school. This would probably be the biggest party of the year. Kyra and Klaus Talbot, the twins everyone talked about. The Talbot's were the richest people in town and their parents were never home, so they did what they please. Kyra could be a bitch but that didn't stop the school from worshipping her. Kyra had lots of friends but her best friend was Ivy, who was nothing like her.

Her brother Klaus was a different story. He was nice to most people but like her sister had a mean side. He was known for getting into fights and being able to drink people under the table. Some people said he was the bad boy, others said he was the sweetest person they ever met. Let's just put it this way, Kyra and Klaus are two totally different people.

Harry Osborn, rich like the Talbots. The Osborn family came right under them. Harry's father, Norman, owns a large building in town. Which they test science experiments in. Harry hangs out with Klaus mostly. Harry's father wants him to own Oscorp one day, Harry has the business skills but he's not very good with science.

Genesis Reyes, the girlfriend of Klaus. Klaus met her through Kyra. Her and Kyra were mutual friends. They got along one day and were fighting the next. Genesis had a bitchy side but was somewhat nice, something that Kyra never was. If you said hey to her in the hallways at school she'd reply back with a smile, but that didn't mean she liked you.

Ivy Carter, the sweet redhead. Best friend of Kyra. Whenever Kyra had someone cornered in the halls at school, Ivy stood on the side feeling guilty. Kyra would unleash her evil on some poor victim while Genesis laughed. Ivy would frown and wouldn't say anything. Her crush on Ethan Jenkins was larger than life and he didn't even know.

Javier Suarez, the boy who went around dancing. He always carried music with him, he literally carried a boom box with him. He'd dance in the hallways and he'd dance in class. His teachers basically let him do whatever he pleases. Ivy always comments how good at dancing he is constantly. If he was straight he'd take those comments as her being in love.

Kit Zapata, best friend of Javier. He didn't like that his best friend brought so much attention to them. He'd always nudge him and say "Javier stop!" Girls would holler as they'd pass by because of Javier's hips moving to the music. Kit was also gay, but Javier didn't know. Just like Kit didn't know Javier was the same way. His crush on Javier, his best friend, was something he thought could never happen.

Ethan Jenkins, the redheaded guitar player. He'd play for Ivy sometimes but he didn't let her know that he sang. Javier knew he could sing and always told him to people her his voice. But he was very shy. Ethan didn't hang with the popular crowd, his father didn't have a lot of money and he kept to himself mostly. He'd get lonely and hang with Kit and Javier but that was only if he was in the mood. Ivy would try to talk to him but he'd get nervous and end up stuttering.

Justin Foley, the school jock, who acted like a jerk but was really a sweetheart. He spent most of his days at the Talbot household. Because of his mother and her boyfriend, who were very abusive towards him. He couldn't stand Kyra but Klaus took care of him whenever he needed a place to stay. Harry would always send him away because of his father. His crush on Summer Abner is killing him, he wants to ask her out but is too afraid.
