❝ When others are mad at you, they are frankly worried about you. Don't let madness confuse you because that person cares about you no matter what ❞

H O S E O K

I'M PULLED BACK SOFTLY, SUCKING IN a sharp breath as arms close tightly around me. I can hear another heart pound against my chest, another human shielding me. Another human running a gentle hand through my hair, and whispering reassuring words. Another human trembling, although he's holding me tight. I can just about hear his quiet sobs, lips trembling with his chin resting on my shoulder.

Jimin.

Jimin's lips are trembling as each word his soft voice produces. His arms are encased around me, pulling me into him, tighter than I can ever imagine.

He's so warm compared to the cold sweat of beads creating a bracelet of what seems like anxiousness and relief flooding through my veins, reverberating off my heart pounding against his chest and mine.

"Don't you ever do such a dangerous thing again!" He softly yells in emotion, securing his arms around me, pulling me closer to him if that's ever possible, and I find my head buried in his shoulder now, thankful for the warmth and comfort his body radiates off, including himself.

This isn't suitable at the moment, but as if intentionally . . .a soft chuckle leaves my mouth.

At the moment I want to believe I really am breathing that—Jimin is with me. I didn't and don't want to be a reason for why someone cries. I'm Jhope, I'm your hope . . . yeah, that sounded pretty faded and lost and despairing.

All of them six shining stars. I wish on this star that's now a scarred one, but I don't want that and I still believe stars will continue to shine.

When Jimin pulls away, we hold each other's sharp, cloudy, yet thin glass layer losing the happiness fluttering in our eyes.

Then we hug.

And stay like that for about a whole three minutes, sitting on a flight of stairs, hearing the clock tick and tick, only silence is speaking between us until Jimin starts speaking, holding the numbness back in his words.

"Yah! There you two are!"

A deep melancholy voice bounces off the walls towards my direction. Jimin and I pull back in a hast, widening our eyes at the familiar voice calling out to us, and swivel our heads over our shoulder.

"Yah, Hoseok-ah, Jimin-ah!" Taehyung calls out, clenching his feet.  He's briskly walking with tears burning his eyes, taking away the once bright energetic brown eyes he'd usually have.

Except right now, he's desperately trying to control any tears from running down his now pale face.

And he's doing a pretty good job at that.

"Taehyung-ah!" Jimin exclaims and frowns at Taehyung ignoring him, completely putting his attention on me. It's not much of a worry since Jimin understands the situation and shakes it off, grinning at Taehyung's concern about me.

Taehyung grips at my shoulders, shaking me to make sure if I'm dead or not, which I  AM NOT.

I AM NOT DEAD.

I get it, Taehyung's worried.

"Yah, Hoseok! Speak, smile, dance, please? Please do anything to let me know you are okay hyung!" He heaves a sigh of relief when small smile stretches across my face, widening, making my ears appear perked up and eyes brighter.

"Oh, my god, you're okay! You are okay!" He says in relief, cheerfully throwing a huge smile in return and pulls me into a tight embrace in which the arms shield around you, and you just about suffocate, but the good suffocate.

Jimin inclines his head, pulling himself to his feet and closes his arms around us, smiling into my shoulder. After about two minutes we pull back and ask about one another's whereabouts and if we're okay.

"I feel a little numb, sleepy, dizzy, and tired—" I almost lurch forward to my knees, landing my face on the flight of stairs, and gasp quietly of relief at a hand gripping my arm.

"You're not gonna fall without me," Jimin says reassuringly, yet strictly, and pulls me back to the step that I was on earlier. I laugh, diverting my eyes to the clock.

The ticking is an instrumental disgusting medicine to my ears.

"None of us are going to fall without each other. We raised with each other, then we fall with each other. And if anyone does, they're certainly not allowed to fall, and if they fall, and none of us are in their reach, stand up and never let anyone or anything bring you down."

Taehyung's eyes rip through us like bullets as if they've silenced us in clear amazement and bewilderment flooding me, including Jimin. Taehyung's fingers had gripped around Jimin's arm so tight that the veins on his arms appear, and the ominous, valiant glare he gives Jimin causes him to nod, holding Taehyung's nerve-racking glare.

Jimin whispers a yes under his breath, "You're pretty smart and that's one of the reasons I like about you. Taehyung, you may be childish and annoying, but I really appreciate you even after all that because you've been there for me since day one, and you'd listen to me when I wanted to tell you my worries."

At this Taehyung wipes a tear off his cheek, cracking a soft smile reaching his ears.

"Hey, can we be a little more positive? I'm fine guys."

"No, you're not even though you said so." Jimin and Taehyung exclaim, shooting a glare at me, pressing their lips tightly together in a pout which I can't seem to deny, instead, I sigh and nod with acceptance.

They lock their arms with mine, and I let them help walk me downstairs, through the medicine-scented hallways of yellows and white painting the walls, and some flower vases sitting on a table next to the wall.

Upon reaching the cafeteria a melody of blues and reminiscence flows into my ears as a smile suddenly appears on my face. "Where's Seokjin, Yoongi, and Jungkook?" I ask, hesitant in my steps, yearning to find out where that soft melody is coming from.

"Oh . . . Seokjin hyung went to America." Taehyung says, voice quiet.

"What? America? Are you kidding?"

Seokjin? America? Why in all of the places, America right now? Shouldn't he be here? No . . . it was probably some emergency or he was instructed to do so.

"Bang Si-hyuk said he had important business to be handled, but he didn't want to pass it onto Namjoon because he wanted him to keep us safe and together, so he sent Seokjin instead," Taehyung explains.

Business? What business is this? And why did he choose Seokjin?

"Yoongi and Jungkook-ah are . . . I believe they are playing the piano together." Taehyung says, unsure. Taehyung looks brainwashed the moment I break out from his and Jimin's arms and escape towards a room where the music is arriving from.

Once I arrive at the door of a room, I hesitantly open the door, hearing it's creak and step inside, widening my eyes, and finally, my chest falls with a sigh of relief flooding through me. Happiness knows it's way around as I find myself smiling, leaning against a wall, listening to the piano's keys flutter with heartbeats.

Jungkook is smiling so happily, and Yoongi well—Yoongi glances at Jungkook every so then, his fingers mastering the keys of the piano it flutters with each ringing bells and soft syllables of the notes when the pads of his fingers touch the key.

But the calmness tiding against them falters at the accidental noise I make—stumbling. My arms hit the cymbals as they clatter down, creating a loud bang, waking Yoongi and Jungkook from their soothing symphony.

"Yah, Jung Hoseok!" Yoongi yells, bolting out of the bench, catching my astonished gaze.

Jungkook swivels his head around to see me, he blinks his eyes to assure himself he's not delusional.

"Hoseok?" Jungkook says with pure astonishment and happiness, his eyes round.

"Uhh . . . Hey Jungkook and Yoongi!" I laugh nervously, quickly pulling up to my feet and back up against a wall as Yoongi storms towards me with a surge of anger in his eyes. He stops in his track just about to throw a punch at me but punches the wall beside me instead.

Then he actually hugs me, quietly whimpering. I can feel his hands, fingers, his body quivering. I shouldn't have ever done such menacing act, but then who was to save Seokjin and Jin.

"You're so stupid, but what you did was dangerous." He tightens his arms around my back and I gladly tighten the hug.

"I may be stupid also dangerous, but a brave one and dangerously cute at that."

He laughs, then pulls an eyebrow up, and stares at me dead in the eye, calculating what I just said before he decides to actually punch me.

"Even if what you did was dangerous, I don't think anyone who was there at the road would have hurried to move Seokjin and me out of the way on time if it weren't you."
