finally the bell for the lunch rang which made minho sprang out of his english class and look for the certain blonde in the cafeteria. he waited at the table the two usually shared but when even after five minutes, felix didn't show up, minho left to look for him. minho dialled his number as he walked past few of the places felix liked to hung out including the library and the music room.

the blonde finally picked up the call.

"hello?"

"lix !" minho inhaled sharply, feeling his breath getting heavier and his hands turning cold,"where are you?"

"oh i was in the principal's office-"

"the fuck happened?" minho panicked as his legs immediately turned towards the principal's office.

"it's nothing serious." felix spoke lowly.

"wait, i'll be there!" mingi exclaimed and hung up, pushing his phone in his pockets as he took the stairs to the principal's office. he found the blonde sitting in the waiting area which made the older sigh in relief.

"hey." minho smiled as he sat down next to the boy making the younger shift his focus.

"oh hi." felix forced a smile as he noticed how worried and relieved the older looked at the same time.

"what's wr-"

minho was cut off by the door being opened and out came bang chan and some other boy he couldn't recognize.

"what did he say?" felix asked as his gaze turned towards the senior. bang chan looked at minho for a moment before his eyes finally met the questioning ones belonging to felix.

"i received detention and he's supposed to be restricted to attend classes for next one week." bang chan explained, completely ignoring my existence which made me roll my eyes.

"i'm really sorry you had to-"

"it's fine felix. don't worry about it." the senior smiled as he patted felix on his shoulders,"i'll leave now. bye."

"bye." felix whispered, finding it hard to recover that bang chan helped him out and even smiled at him.

"um, what's going on?" minho finally asked making the blonde turn around on his spot to face the older.

"this senior made fun of me and he pushed me into the lockers-"

"who the fuck?" minho gritted as his fingers moulded into a punch and he was ready to take that boy down.

"it's okay now." felix tried to explain, noticing the pissed look on minho's face,"bang chan hyung came on time and he helped me but my homeroom teacher saw us indulging in a fight that's why we were sent to the principal's office."

minho nodded, despite the urge to find the boy and teach him a lesson.

"you're okay right?" minho asked just in case felix was hurt.

"i'm okay." felix confirmed.

"about the talk we had in the morning. ." minho started, fumbling with his thumbs. it's weird how he gets all shaky and nervous in felix's presence.

"yeah about that. ." felix scratched the back of his neck,"i'm sorry for that. i over reacted a bit. i was just so stressed out."

minho felt bad that felix had to apologize after so much was going on with him so he just smiled at the younger, saying it was alright.

"so are we good?"

"yes. of course." felix grinned widely,"appa and my step mother won't be home today so you should come over. i'll make you some brownies. take it as an apology."

"oh no. that's not needed." minho chuckled lightly even though he badly wanted to eat the delicious brownies the blonde made.

"please." felix pleaded and jutted his bottom lip out. he knew the older won't be able to resist his pleading eyes and pout.

"oh." minho blinked as he couldn't stop staring at the younger's plump lips,"fine."

"aha great." the blonde giggled as he smiled brightly. minho felt quite nice seeing that things were going back as they were before ; normal. "have you eaten lunch yet?" minho asked as he could feel his stomach grumbling and crying for food. felix shook his head as a no,"you?"

minho shook his head as a no before adding,"let's go have lunch. then i'll see you after my last class."

the bell for the last class finally rang which made minho run out of his class immediately, heading towards the exit of the school. he realized felix still wasn't there which made him wait for few minutes by the school gate.

"lix!" minho waved excitedly when he saw the younger from afar. his excited voice made some of the student to give him weird looks as they had never seen the raven haired boy so excited and happy. he always had a scowl on his face unlike the wide smile lingering on his lips that day.

"hey." felix greeted the older as the two made their way out,"you look so excited."

minho didn't realise that until the younger pointed it out.

"am i?" minho chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck. felix simply nodded.

"i just miss your brownies." the older smiled.

"you could have just told me that and i would have brought you my brownies." felix suggested as he patted the older's back in assurance.

"it's much more fun to watch you bake." minho muttered absentmindedly, immediately regretting the words leaving his mouth. he smiled nervously seeing the look on felix's face. the younger was surprisingly smirking.

"lee minho, are you in love with me?" felix asked jokingly but it scared the shit out of the older.

 letting out a laughter, minho went along with the joke,"who wouldn't be in love with you, lee felix?"

felix grinned, slightly punching minho on his shoulders making the older fake a cry.

"let's go?" minho finally asked as he saw felix looking around for someone,"who are you waiting for?"

"oh no one." the blonde said immediately, faking a laughter to make his lie more believable. minho said nothing in response but he slightly felt that maybe the younger was looking for the senior, bang chan. 

now that the senior has helped him, felix might have started liking him a bit more.
