It was barely three o'clock when the little child hopped on me and tried waking me up as fast as she could.

"They are here!"

I jumped off my bed and wore my shirt.

"Who?"

"The Vampires!"

I stopped for a moment trying to recognize what she was saying.

"What Vampires, you must be dreaming my darling!" I said beginning to worry.

"No dad! This is not a dream. They are here!"

I jumped up as quickly as I could and tried reaching my sword but unlucky failed when Robert was there already. I took a few steps to the back trying to believe what I was seeing. He mustn't see the child!

"What do you want Robert?" I muttered angrily.

He made a small laugh then gave me a cold smile.

"Just came to see my darling, I guess she's a beautiful lady!"

"Your darling?" I said with a very loud laugh that Catharina came in.

He looked at me frustrated then looked at Catharina surprised.

"Oh my Vampire princess!"

"Catharina stay where you are and don't move!"

"Come here, don't be afraid" continued Robert.

I stood in front of Catharina and hid her behind my back.

"Robert stay there!"

The girl took a step backwards and hid behind Grace.

"Are you afraid of me?" questioned Robert gently moving towards Catharina.

"I said stay there!" I yelled pushing Robert backwards.

Robert looked at me angrily and drew his sword near me.

"Don't you try to play with me these games Ethan, not with me"

I looked at Catharina who was shivering then looked at him again.

"Let's ask the girl who she would like to be with"

"You're kidding?"

"It's her life!"

"Catharina, who would you like to be with?" I continued.

The girl slowly walked towards me and held my hand.

"See"

Robert ran quickly towards me trying to hit me with his sword but flew backwards when Catharina raised her hand.

"Get away from my dad" she yelled.

"I am your dad!" yelled Robert.

"But you're a Vampire!"

He touched her face and started patting her.

"You're a Vampire, too" he said "oh well, didn't Ethan tell you about it?" he continued.

"Get out" I yelled.

I pushed him out and grabbed his shirt.

"What Ethan, are you afraid of the truth?"

Calum entered the room and looked at us confused.

"Calum! Take him..." I yelled.

"No! let him say what he wants" interrupted Catharina.

I looked at Catharina shocked.

"Catharina, you're..." Continued Robert.

I pushed him out and started hitting him.

"No dad!" yelled Catharina.

"Grace, take her to her room!"

I continued hitting him until his face was covered with blood.

"I don't want to see your face again"

"You'll see Ethan" he said as he walked away.

I ran to Catharina's room to know her whereabouts.

"Dad am I really a Vampire?"

"No Catharina, you're not" I said gently as I hugged her.
