First of all, let me express my gratitude for all of you lovely people that had stayed till the end.

I know my story has a lot of flaws. Helvete, I didn't think it would be enjoyable at all. Technically, this is my first BTS story that is not a one shot, and in English nonetheless.

English is my second language, and I still didn't understand what grammar really is till a year ago.

I'm hoping you're reading till this word because you genuinely liked my story.

Evanescence is a work that was born from my frustration after reading exactly two books that had a sad ending by the same author.

It started of as a joke, if I could make a story that makes my reader feels the same as I would reading those two story.

Ideas popped up in my mind, and the rough draft of the story were made in two days.

I spent the whole next week conjuring and developing the story, the incomplete version.

And then I edited the story while reaching the end of it at the same time the next month.

Truly, I appreciate every single read you gave on my story. (Since the votes are mostly from my best friend and myself. I'm not ashamed of it)

Thank you so much.

Explanation

Okay, let me clarify some things:

Yes, she isn't at all sane. That is the one of the two reasons why she's there in the first place.

She has delusional illusion, a bit of dependency disorder, and also nightmares.

And she had schizophrenic tendencies from her early planning, but then I tweaked it a little so you all would get confused what is really happening.

Yes, she could see and touch ghost.

This point was explained in the prequel of the story, where she was aware that Seokjin isn't human.

It was the day she was admitted to the asylum, and the day where she was left here alone. She still remembers some things because she had her notebook before being admitted there. Her notebook was taken from her the moment she enter the room.

(If you couldn't tell, I'm making things up for the notebook just now. Not that it held any relevance or anything)

Yes, the real ending is messed up. If you figured it out already, good. If you didn't, just keep it that way. Ignorance is bliss everyone.

Yes, I'm weird. Where would you find an author like me? Nowhere.

More explanations about things that happens in the story (if i lack something, feel free to ask)

Jin said it was the third time at first, and then at this prequel, he said three times as well.

This contradiction was born because she was just imagining things at the main story. (As you can see at the prequel from Jin's perspective.)

Or she just simply lost count of how many times she couldn't remember.

The one with her at first isn't Jin. It's just what she imagined to be Jin and also taking form as Jin. Or you could think of it whatever you want.

The real Jin is at the very end on chapter [§%€£¿μ] ←this is practically Seokjin lol

But her depictions of Jin isn't entirely false. It was based on Jin after all. It's just that it wasn't the real one.

She is aware she isn't as sane the third time, hence the second third time, as if renewing her insane self.

The fragment thingy is her real memory with our ghostly Jin.

And at the [A] chapter, she never mentioned about Jin once.

This explain implisitly that she didn't remember Jin, because he simply wasn't there.

To explain the events that happened at the very end, I'm not glorifying any of the things that happened in here. Such as suicides, death, murder, or things.

No.

The moral here is that, you shouldn't trust someone too much.

Jin may love her, but they wouldn't end up together no matter what. She would still be crazy for the rest of her life.

Jin is no longer human. He has other way to convey his love. Sadly, how human portray love differ from what Jin knows.

The only way Jin knows to make them both happy is to be together. No matter how gruesome and disgusting the way can be. He wasn't human anymore, and nor he is completly sane.

You shouldn't be so dependant on something or someone that you decides to end everything.

You should walk forward and not give up, finding happiness from another way.

(And yes, if you couldn't tell already, I'm also making this excuse as we speak)

Remember everyone!
1.Killing isn't legal yet, and it never will.
2.Hurting yourself isn't going to solve things.
3.When you're sad, make some angst that's as sad.
4. Talk to me.
5. I'm serious. I got nobody to talk to lately.

Bonus:

From the end of chapter 1 2/3

"Why don't you think the cute animals are cute?"

"Well, its cute… but…"

"..."

He's gonna say something cheesy, I just know it.

"You're WAY cuter~"

From the nightmare (???) chapter, unused line:

"Why would monsters eat its own kind?"

-END-

Is this reality and you're dreaming?

Or is it a dream you wished from reality?
