NARRATOR POV.: It's another, 2nd race weekend of 2022 season. Everyone is pumped up and excited. But one person isn't... Not quite... This person is Haas driver, Mick Schumacher. It's his birthday this weekend, and he's unable to spend it with his family, because of his F1 duties... Deep down, in his heart, he wish he can take a week off, to spend it with his family, but of course, he can't. So he's going to zip it up, smile, and have a phone call with them when he's done with everything for the day...
Other thing is, he has no idea, that in fact, his family is here, in Jeddah! All thanks to Seb and Maddie! Vettel knew, how hard it would be for young Schumacher, to be away from his family on his birthday, so he reached out to blonde's girlfriend, Maddison, to plan everything...
-Yeah, he has no idea...- Seb told excited Maddie, when they stood in Aston Martin hospitality, away from curious eye.
-That's even better! I told him that my exams got me tied to England, and Gina came up with believable excuse for her and their parents. He must be heartbroken though...
-Chin up Maddie! We both know how happy he would be, when he will see you...
-You're right... Danke schón Seb...- young woman said and gave older German a hug.
-No need to thank me- he chuckled, but returned the hug.
Then, they finished their plan, just in time for Seb to get back to the garage for next seasion. Like everything this weekend, it's all about timing...

Both FP's were done by 17 o'clock and teams could rest, even for just a tiny bit. That also included Haas team, as both drivers didn't crash their cars, unlike Yuki for AlphaTauri or Guanyou Zhou, who's driving for Alfa Romeo Racing Orlen this season, alongside Valtteri Bottas. The session was intense, but revarding, and everyone felt that. Mick and Kevin went back to their garages and talked with their engeneers about the car and all of that, looking a little tired. Not weird, as they've just finished almost 2h long training session...
But apart from exaustion, it was something else visible on Mick's face... Sadness and longing... Young Schumacher tried to hide it as much as possible, as he didn't want to cause the team more stress with his negative attitude...
Before they knew it however, smiling Sebastian Vettel entered the garage, and made his way over to Mick.
-Can I steal him for some time?- blonde said, not greeting the two men.
-What do you mean Seb?- Mick was visibly confused at his friend's actions.
-You'll see..- he smiled again and looked at the man in front of them, as he was standing beside Mick.
-We're actually done here for now, so yeah, you can steal him Sebastian- he replied with warm smile and added -But remember to give him back early, because he, just like you, needs good sleep before tomorrow's qualifying...
-Don't worry, I will- Vettel promissed and Mick stood beside him, looking at the older German in astonishment -Come on Mick! We need to go- Seb looked at him and wrapped one of his arms over Mick's shoulders.
-Where? Seb, Was machst du? (what are you doing?) - Mick asked him in confusion, but let him lead the way.
-I told you, you'll see. But first, you need to shower and change- Vettel decided, so they entered Mick's drivers room. 

After aproximitly 20 minutes, they were out again, and Seb lead confused Mick out of the garage and through the paddock, to Haas hospitality.
-Seb, I know you're planning something, but I'm in no mood for that! Really!- Mick tried to protest, while Vettel covered his eyes with his hand.
-For God's sake, Mick! Stop talking and relax! I'm not kiddnapping you or anything!- he said, trying to sound angry, but failed and giggled, making Mick also laugh.
In that light and nice atmosphere, they entered the living area, and Seb gestured thumbs up to smiling crew, whom gestured back.
-SURPRISE!!- they all yelled, when Seb moved away his hand, and Mick saw whole team smiling at him, with his whole family in the middle. He stood in shock, while everyone started to sing "Happy Birthday" to him, followed by german version, bringing "birthday boy" to tears.
-O God..- he crocked out, looking at everyone with smile on his face.
-Blow the candles..- Seb smiled and pushed Mick a little, to make him stand in front of smiling Gina, who was holding huge cake with 23 candles and "Happy 23th birthday Mick" written on it. 
-Blasen Sie die Kerzen Bruder(Blow the candles brother)- she repeated after Seb, and Mick nodded, quiet for a moment. And then, when he was ready, he blown the candles and everyone laughed.
-Alles Gute zum Geburtstag mein süßer Sohn! Ich wünsche Ihnen, dass Sie immer gesund, voller Kraft und Begeisterung bleiben, um mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht zu handeln. Und dass du niemals aufgibst (Happy birthday my sweet son! I wish you to always be healthy, smiling and have the strength to do whatever you want to do. And that you never change)- Corinna was first to hug him tightly.
-Danke schon Mama..- Mick replied and kissed her cheek. Then Michael hugged his son, whispering something quietly in his ear, to which Mick replied with nod and tight hug. After him Gina crashed his embrance, telling him heartwarming wishes and kissing his cheek.
-Danke schon Gin- Mick said and added -But you told me that you're stuck in Geneva?
-If I told you the truth, I'd have to reveal the truth and you wouldn't have this surprise!- she explained and then hugged him again -But the biggest thanks are to Maddie..- she added and let go of Mick, to turn him around and make him face his girlfriend.
-Maddie?! But your Uni...?- he said, surprised as he walked to her and wrapped her in tight hug.
-Uni doesn't matter, when it means that I'd miss your birthday...- she replied and pulled back just a little, to kiss him softly and sweet. Mick, of course, returned the kiss, smiling into it and holding her close.
-Alles Gute zum Geburtstag liebe..- Maddie whispered into his lips with kind smile.
-Danke schon Süße...- he replied and then kissed her forehead -Für alles... (For everything...)

After Maddie, whole Haas crew, Gunther, Kevin and Seb hugged him and gave him heartwarming birthday wishes. Everything looked perfect as planned...
Then they ate very sweet but delicious cake and talked, having huge birthday party. And Mick for the first time since the begining of the race weekend, trurly smiled, happy for having his family and girlfriend with him, on his birthday. They even brough Angie with them! Happy dog got his own sweets and moment of play and cuddles.
-Danke schon Seb... It's the best birthday..- Mick came up to Vettel with geniue smile on his face.
-No need to thank me Mick. You know I care about you and your whole family, so if I could make you happy, by helping your sweet and marvellous girlfriend to arange all of this, I happily complied!- Sebastian said and then they again, shared warm hug.
-Maddie was behind all of this?
-Yeah, it was all her, I just helped with planning...- Vettel confirmed and squezzed his shoulder -Go and talk to her...
-I will- he replied and went back, to find Maddison, while Seb talked with Michael and Corinna.
After 5 or so minutes, he finally found her and came up to her, to hug her from behind. She was talking to Gina about something, he couldn't quite catch.
-Hey...
-Hi.. How are you?- she asked him, melting into his embrance and placed her hand on his cheek.
-Happy..- he replied and kissed her neck -I heard it's all your job...?
-Not just mine! Gina, Seb and your PR team helped too!- Maddie defended herself, as she turned around to face her smiling boyfriend.
-You're the best, you know that?
-I think I know..- she smiled and Mick kissed her sweetly but passionate.
-I love you...
-I love you- Maddie smiled and they joined their foreheads.
-It's the best birthday I think I've ever had...
-I'm happy then..- she bit her lower lip for a moment, and then they kissed once again.
It looked like the best race weekend for Mick, and everyone were happy to be part of it...
