Organising parties had never been your kind of thing – it's not that you didn't enjoy a party, of course you did, but actually being the one to organise it all wasn't appealing.

Luckily, your fiancé's mother was all for taking control of things and setting it all up for you.

The party in question was your and Jonny's engagement party that his Mum, Caroline, was insistent on throwing.

Neither you nor Jonny saw the point in the party, but it was easier to let Caroline throw the party then to convince her the other way.

Even though Caroline was the one doing all of the organising, you still got your way with who was invited to your engagement party.

That meant that you invited Kim, Georgie and Georgie's boyfriend Mikki.

Caroline wasn't too pleased about Kim and Georgie being invited, due to the fact that they worked for her, however both you and Jonny made it clear that you wanted your friends there.

The party had been in full swing for just over an hour, and in that time, you had just about managed to greet everyone that was at the party.

You and Jonny had taken refuge out on the decking of the party venue.

"Why did we agree to this?" Jonny questioned out loud as he slipped his arms around your waist from behind.

You giggled, leaning back into him, "Because it was something your Mum wanted" you suggested as an explanation.

He rested his head on your shoulder, turning to gently kiss your cheek, "We are not letting her plan our wedding" he stated.

You sighed but nodded in agreement "This is way too posh for me" you commented, referring to the engagement party, "My family aren't this high class" you told him.

Jonny stepped back and got you to turn around in his arms, "Our wedding will be everything we want it to be" he reassured you with a smile on his face.

Returning the smile, you wrapped your arms around Jonny's neck "I'm not a fan of the big white wedding idea" you told him.

He nodded in acknowledgement "I know Love" he stated, lightly drawing circles on your waist, "We can plan everything ourselves" he smiled again as he spoke.

You laughed slightly at his words "Mr Rich Boy I actually going to do work himself?" you joked with him.

He rolled his eyes at your response "I can do my own work" he said in his defence.

Laughing again, you leant up to press a gentle kiss to his lips "I know Hun" you told him once you had pulled away.

He rested his forehead against yours "You know I just can't wait to marry you" he breathed out "I'd marry your tomorrow if it was possible" he didn't move an inch whilst he spoke.

You couldn't help but blush at his words "Tomorrow wouldn't be soon enough"
