Although you had originally intended to leave the house to simply run errands for you and your husband, but the discovery of a new cupcake shop in town distracted you from the last couple of errands and simply sent you back to your home carrying a box of iced goods.

As soon as you had gotten home, you put the shopping into the kitchen, not putting it away yet as that would require you actually being productive and do something. You cuddled the box to you as you ran upstairs to the study where you knew your husband was doing work.

When the door swung up, you saw Ravi jump slightly at the suddenness of it all, but he smiled contently seeing you and you how happy you were- not that he knew why you were happy.

"You're home early," he smiled to you.

"I know. I kind of forgot some of what I was supposed to do, but it was for a good reason," you said putting the box down onto the desk. "There is a new cupcake shop in town, and well I couldn't resist."

He chuckled standing up from the desk, shaking his head. Ravi was used to your distraction and the fact that you were easily interested in any form of confectionary.

"Guessing we have cupcakes instead of the groceries you were meant to get?" He asked.

"No I got the groceries, I just didn't go to the post office or the pharmacist or anywhere else," you smiled innocently at him. "But they personalise their cupcakes, so it is definitely worth it.

You opened the box, using the lid to keep the two cakes from his view as you wanted it to be a surprise for him. Lifting up the one you had gotten for him, you handed it delicately to him. He rotated it so that he could read it, eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

"Why does it say 'My Idiot'?" He questioned.

"Because you are my idiot," you grinned innocently, knowing full well that Ravi was smarter than you.

"What does yours say?"

"'Your genius'."

He let out a deep sigh, probably question why he had married you as you were a bit of a pain in the arse however he loved you and you loved him so it was all good.

Ravi put his cupcake down onto the table before wrapping his arms around you pulling you into a tight embrace, leaning down to kiss the top of your head.

"I bloody love you," he chuckled.

"Love you too," you smiled against his chest.
