Elsa kicked Anna's bed. "Rise and shine, bed head."

"Just go away..." Anna said tiredly with her face stuffed into her pillow.

"You need to get in shape for the big competition. And so does everyone else." Elsa said, climbing up to Rapunzel's bed. "Wake up." She nudged her shoulder.

"The bells haven't even rung yet..." Rapunzel replied turning the other way.

"Exactly my point. We are going on an early morning jog to be one step ahead of every other team." The girls moaned. "C'mon." She said pulling Rapunzel's blanket off and then going down to Anna's bed and doing the same thing. Luckily, the two girls actually got out of bed and made an effort into getting ready.

"How come you're not bugging Merida?" Anna asked while brushing her teeth.

"I don't think anyone would want to bug Merida when she's sleeping, except for someone she loves, that's why I'll have Jack do it for me."

"And how are you planning on waking up the guys?"

"Easy." Elsa pulled out a key from her pocket.

"Did Hiccup give that to you?"

"Yeah. Apparently they had an extra copy in their bag. He said to use it only for emergencies."

"Okay then." Rapunzel quickly changed and turned to Elsa. "Let's go." Elsa walked out the door and they followed behind. Elsa quietly unlocked the door and she and Rapunzel snuck into the cabin. Elsa grabbed the airhorn out of Jack’s dresser drawer.

How did she know it would be in there? The answer was simple: Jack would always be his mischievous self.

The two stood in the middle of the room and blew the horn.

“Ahhhhh!” All four boys cried at the same time. Kristoff and Hiccup both fell out of their beds--they were on the lower bunks. Flynn and Jack hit their heads on the ceiling.

“Hiccup!”Jack groaned as he flopped onto his back,“Your girlfriend is trying to kill us.”

“I thought I told you the key was only for emergencies?” Hiccup said as he stood up and rubbed his head.

Elsa smirked, “you did. But--now that you’re all awake--you need to put on athletic clothes and meet us in our cabin in five minutes.”

“See ya soon, boys,” Rapunzel smiled deviously.

After Rapunzel and Elsa left, the four boys quickly put on shorts and t-shirts and walked to the girls’ cabin.

“Okay, what do you want?” Flynn asked quite grumpily.

“Well,” Elsa started, “Kristoff I need you to wake Anna up. I’ve tried everything at this point, even chocolate, and she refuses to wake up. And Jack, you need to wake up Mer.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa! This is why you woke us up?” Jack complained.

Rapunzel rolled her eyes at her ex boyfriend, “No, why we woke you up comes later.”

“And why do I have to wake her up? You know how she gets!”

“Because we didn’t want to.” Elsa explained.

“Let’s just get this over with.” Kristoff suggested.

Sighing, Jack climbed up on Merida’s bed. “Psst, Mer?” He crawled over and gently tapped her shoulder, “Mer…” He pushed her shoulder a little bit harder and spoke a bit louder. “Mer, time to wake up.”

Out of nowhere, Merida bolted awake, causing Jack to fall over the railing of the bunk bed and land with a loud thud on the floor.

“Ow…” He squeaked.

“Well ya shouldn’t sneak up on me when I’m sleeping.” Merida shrugged.

At this point everyone was wide awake and laughing at the person that was on the floor moaning in pain.

“Can’t...breath!” Hiccup panted as they eight made their way up another hill. He may have gotten more muscular but that didn’t mean he was any better at running.

“Els, I’m getting tired too.” Merida added. Archery was her thing...it did not involve running.

They were all getting exhausted, even Elsa, though she didn’t want to admit it. “Okay, we can stop for a few minutes.” Everyone stopped jogging immediately and collapsed on the ground. Elsa stood there gasping for for air and staring at her strange friends and relatives. “Oh, come on, it wasn’t that bad.” She said after her breathing slowed down.

“Speak for yourself, sis.”Anna cuddled next to Kristoff on the grass next to the path.

“I told you your girlfriend was trying to kill us,” Jack grumbled, “the stuck up bi--”

“You better shut yer mouth right there, Frost.” Merida threatened. She loved Jack, but she hated how he made fun of Elsa all the time. She was Merida’s best friend and he would have to learn to be nice to her if he wanted to keep his girlfriend.

They started walking back and made it to the camp within a few minutes.

“We’re here!” Rapunzel exclaimed as the sight of the camp came into everyone's sight. They all sighed, except Elsa.”I can’t wait to snuggle up in my blankets and--” The horn blew for breakfast.

“Nooo!” Anna fell on her knees and put her head down.

“You’ll be fine.” Elsa pulled Anna back up by her backpack handle and gently pushed her towards the short path to the camp. They walked down the path and ate breakfast, eggs and bacon with a side of hashbrowns.

After that they went down to the lake to go canoeing. They were all very excited, except for Merida. She has had a bad experience with canoes; She would always fall off. Merida was complaining the whole way to the lake, and Elsa just said to canoe better.

They made it to the lake and put on life jackets. Soon enough they were out on the water in pairs...more like couples. Elsa was with Hiccup, Jack with Merida, Kristoff and Anna, then Rapunzel and Flynn,

As much as Elsa loved Hiccup, she had to admit she was annoyed with how slow and bad he was at canoeing. And seeing as that Jack felt the same way about Merida, they changed partners--only based on their skill levels of course.

Somehow, no one knew exactly what happened, Merida and Hiccup’s canoe managed to tip over.

“Haddock, dis is yer fault!” Merida blamed, attempting to get back onto the canoe.

“My fault? You’re the one that started to rock the thing because or your panicking!”

“Hiccup, Merida! That’s enough.” Elsa’s threatening, mother-like tone silenced them. “Alright, I think that’s enough canoeing for today. Next up: volleyball.”

“Finally something I like!” Merida shouted.

They rowed the canoes onto shore and peeled out of the life jackets. The beach already had some volleyball nets set up where other teams were practicing.

Anna glared over to the one at the far left where Hans and his older brothers were. Elsa pat her on the shoulder. “Just ignore them. I do.”

“I’m not as good of a person as you are.”

Elsa scoffed, “You’re right...you’re better. Now come on, let’s play some volleyball!” Anna smiled and chased her sister to the net. They split up into teams of four. Elsa, Kristoff, Rapunzel and Jack were on one side while Merida, Anna, Hiccup, and Flynn were on the other. Each side had two aggressive players.

They started off easy, just passing the ball back and forth over the net. But one thing lead to another and the next thing they knew Flynn and Jack were spiking the ball--very hard.

Elsa passed the ball over the net to Flynn, who then passed to Merida. She hit the ball high up into the air and it spiraled down to Kristoff.

Just as Kristoff was about to hit the ball, he tripped.

“Yes!” Anna cheered as she high-fived Flynn. “Better luck next time, sweetie!”

Elsa rolled her eyes, “The game’s not over yet.” Elsa over-hand served. The ball flew over the net. None of the other team was prepared because they were still celebrating their small victory--causing the ball to plop in the sand. “Now the game is over, we won.”

Anna, Flynn, Merida, and Hiccup gaped at Elsa and her smirking team.

"That's not fair!" Merida yelled across the net.

"Yes, it is! Jack, is it?" Elsa turned to Jack.

"Uh, yeah pretty sure." Jack said with a smile.

“Jack yer supposed to be on my side!” Merida shouted again.

"Let's just let it go, we're tied anyways." Hiccup suggested.

"Good idea Hicc." Rapunzel added. Merida continued grumbling but the seven of them only ignored her complaining. “We should eat dinner early so that we can get to the party sooner.”

“I completely forgot about that…” Flynn said.

“Yeah me too. And parties aren’t really my thing.” Kristoff tried to get out of going to the party. Even though he knew Anna would still make him go, it was worth a shot.

Anna’s eye twitched knowingly. “Christopher Bjorgman. You. Are. Going.”

“Anna,” He whined, “stop calling me that. You know that’s not my name!”As Kristoff and Anna mildly bickered about the party, they were walking towards the cafeteria.

“Think we should stop them?” Hiccup asked no one in particular.

Flynn shrugged, “Nah, let ‘em be.”

“It’s a good form a entertainment,” Merida chimed., watching the two that were a few yards ahead of the rest of them.

“Hey Punz, you look exhausted. Want a ride?” Jack asked. She raised a questioning eyebrow. “Oh, come on. It’ll be just like old times.”Rapunzel smiled and he took that as his que. He bent down in front of her, allowing her to crawl onto his back and wrap her arms around his neck so that he could give her a piggy-back ride.

“Merida won’t...kill me, right?”

Jack stood up, “It’d be impossible for her to kill us if she can’t catch up.” She was about to question him until he began racing down the path.

“Jaaaaaaack!” She screamed.

Flynn, Merida, Elsa, and Hiccup stopped to stare at Jack and Rapunzel. “I hope you’re not worried about her stealing your boyfriend…” Hiccup stated.

Merida chuckled, “I’d love ta watch her try.”

“Their break-up went really well. They ended on good terms and were friends long before they dated. She doesn't have anything to worry about.” Elsa assured. “Now let’s go eat. I’m starving!”
