"Look who's up and moving," Azula hummed amused as Zuko was dressed in normal attire with Katara while they walked through the yard.

"We'll be at the docks with the water tribes," Katara sent Azula a look.

"Why?" Ty Lee perked up.

"With them being our strongest allies, and in laws, I think it would be best to send them off? Kind of a responsibility," Zuko raised a brow at the girls.

"Don't get stabbed again," Mai filed her nails leaning against a tree.

"I make no promises," Zuko rolled his eyes as Katara covered her mouth to hide her smile. They walked together through the yard and disappeared inside again as the three girls stayed outside.

"Do you think they're together together now? They seem closer," ty Lee watched them softly, she wasn't jealous of the relationship and kind of wanted something like that. Loving someone for who they are.

"They're just friends that are married ty Lee," Mai glared a little at her.

"But did you see them dance together? The way they look at each other? They have to be in love, no one trusts the way they do and not love each other, they're literally a perfect team," ty Lee cooed as she stood on her top toes at the thought of their relationship.

"Mai I bet you could ruin it," Azula smiled over at the other girl.

"It's okay, your side of the family already does," Mai glared back with red staining her cheeks.

"If anything Mai brought them together, a bonding of a crazy ex, who happens to still love a married man," Azula smiled more.

"Shut up!" Mai sneered.

"Did you tell them about what's going down with the water tribes yet?" Ty Lee asked to avoid them fighting.

"Oh yea I forgot about that, Nope, it's not my problem," Azula grinned knowing the chaos that has been in the palace since the stabbing.

Katara and Zuko walked to the docks with a few guards woth them but they were confused hearing yelling and arguing ahead where both tribes were, no northern tribe members were on their boats, as the southern tribe was trying to pack up still but were distracted.

"What the hell?" Kataras eyes widen confused as she broke into a sprint to her family. Zuko ran after her ignoring the guards cries.

"Yue, Sokka what the fuck?" Zuko called over as they were closest.

"My tribe wants to know who the traitor is," Yue covered her mouth fearful a little.

"What traitor?" He asked confused.

"The Damn traitor that tried to kill my wife!" A man yelled. Zuko looked disgusted at the northern tribe peasant.

"Hahn..." Zuko groaned.

"It was your bastard people wasnt it? If anything it was you," Hahn stormed up to Zuko. The prince put his hand up to stop fire nation soldiers from drawing their swords.

"It wasn't, and it wasn't water tribe either," Zuko replied calmly.

"You expect me to believe that? Yue almost died because of you and this land! You've been gaining her trust to just kill her like the fire nation scum you are!" Hahn grabbed Zuko by the shirt aggressively.

"You're embarrassing yourself, your wife and your tribe, get it together," zuko wasn't phased by it. He knew Hahn, he was all talk.

"Yea idiot, Zuko was stabbed too, why would both of them get stabbed?" Sokka pulled Hahn off his brother in law.

"That's exactly what fire scum want you to think," Hahn spat.

"Hahn was it?" Katara stepped between him and Zuko with a innocent face.

"I know your just being protective of our lovely princess, and we all want her well being, but if you don't get your shit together I'm going to personally force you on that ship myself," she smiled brightly wirh her hands behind her back.

"Can you do that for me?" Katara hummed.

"Whos this chick?" Hahn looked back at Yue.

"Ambassador Katara, my wife," Zuko crossed his arms. "So please stop being so ignorant and show some decency in front of her,"

"Or what? Gonna stab me?" He glared.

"For fuck sake, chief Arnook, dad," Katara called the chiefs over. They were arguing but Hakoda looked to see his daughter.

"Is everything okay? I'm glad to see Zuko walking," Hakoda looked over the young adults carefully as arnook went to his daughter.

"This prick harassing Zuko because he thinks he's the reason Yue was stabbed," Katara glared as Sokka and Zuko both had a hand around her arms.

"Hahn we already explained that, Zuko was the main target and Yue was not, she wasn't going to die," Hakoda sighed annoyed.

"We have evidence it was someone from the earth kingdom," Zuko told them and they all went silent.

"I'm guessing, some rebellion got in, everyone's alerted in the palace, if someone is on your ship and isn't water tribe then let me know immediately, but if they're found on your ships then the punishment would be up to the chiefs," he let go of Katara as she calmed down.

"Punishment?" Yue asked concerned.

"I know my father will execute them, no one is thrown into prison for attempting to kill a royal family member," Zuko nodded as the water tribe members were a little surprised.

"What about a trial?" Katara asked.

"Nope," he shrugged.

"Especially for actually stabbing me and another royal member from the water tribe, they're already considered dead by my family," Zuko kept his arms crossed as if it was normal.

"And I'd never hurt Yue, I'd never send someone to harm her, nor anyone of the water tribe, she knows it and many others do too," he raised a brow down at the oaf, as Zuko was a tad taller than Hahn.

"We came down to say good bye, and we have gifts for thanking you for your company as well as your trust, chiefs," Zuko turned to the two leaders with Yue and Sokka next to them.

"Trust? The fire nation? We're not idiot," Hahn spat.

"Not with the fire nation son, with the future fire lord and lady, our alliance is strongest with our respect with prince Zuko, not fire lord Ozai," arnook took the small chest Zuko handed to him.

"I've already trusted Zuko with taking care of Katara, and he's done so much more than that, supporting her into a powerful woman that I'm proud to see smile again, he has my full trust," Hakoda agreed as Zuko handed him a larger box as well.

"It's a golden dagger, gems that were found at the bottom of the Volcano that avatar roku battled to his last breath, I think it's suitable for the oasis," Zuko explained as arnook unwrapped the blade with black gems.

"And my uncles blade that slayed the last dragon, it's his most prized possession that represents change and courage," he smiled shyly at Hakoda as he took out a sword that was hand crafted for royalty.

"The fire nation usually gives weapons as gifts for the hope of protection for You and your family's, traditional," he blushed awkwardly as Sokka was in awe by the two blades.

"It's an honor to be given such a powerful meaning blade Zuko, thank you... he actually killed the last dragon?" Hakoda breathed wide eyes.

Zuko smiled innocently with a wink but said nothing.

"Figures the only way the fire nation can be kind is through violence," Hahn scoffed.

"Shut up!" The four children of leaders called.

"Sokka, Yue, I also have gifts for you," Zuko huffed and looked at the others. He handed them each a scroll and a box.

"Don't open the scrolls till your on the ship," he whispered to them but Sokka opened the box instead.

"I- is this a jar of honey?" Sokka wheezed.

Yue took out the honey and looked sad but kept a smile.

"Thank you, I know when it's for," Yue hugged Zuko tightly as he held her back not knowing when he'll see his friend.

"I'm sorry for you getting hurt, please take care until it's time," Zuko whispered closing his eyes.

"I'm so glad your okay now, don't get hurt again," Yue kissed his cheek gently, Zuko let go and bowed to kiss the top of her hand nodding.

"Farewell princess Yue," he smiled sadly.

"Farewell prince Zuko," she bowed.

He backed over to Katara as she was in a tight embrace with her father and brother, he didn't interrupt and stayed a distance from the small family.

Hakoda wiped his daughters tears as he kissed her head like when she was a child. Sokka was looking more of a mess with snot running down his nose but held back the tears. He whined hugging his baby sister again as Katara made a sound of distress almost falling.

"It's nice seeing you on better terms prince Zuko, you're going to be a great fire lord," Hakoda went over to Zuko.

"Chief Hakoda, talk to Sokka on your way home, there's more You need to know, within two months we'll be in touch, but keep it to yourself, don't write to me or Katara bout the day of black sun, Sokka has what you need to know," Zuko shook his hand but kept his voice low.

"What? What does that mean?" Hakoda was caught off guard.

"Trust your children, and be ready, that'll all I ask for, two months," Zuko nodded firmly and let go.

Hakoda was shocked at the warning, the look in the princes eyes, it was the look of a solider.

Something told him the war wasn't as close to the end as he wished for.
